Right now, I'm in an unfamiliar bed, but even so it feels quite comfortable. I'm relaxed and safe, but I think that's because of the pony laying next to me. It's been over twenty years since I met her, and along with her there are a lot of ponies in the room with me. They're all really nervous and scared. But I'm okay, because she is here.

My name is Twilight Sparkle. I am the Archmage of Equestria, the youngest ever at forty five years old, and right now, I'm laying on my deathbed.

But that's okay.

A relatively normal day is disrupted when Luna learns that Orcus, the Demon Prince of Undeath, has escaped from Tartarus and is making his bid for conquest, starting with Ponyville. More horrifying though... is that fact that only she seems to care. Time is of the essence, and no one, Celestia included, seems worried about the impending disaster. Will Luna be able to rally the army, shake the citizens of Canterlot from their strange apathy, and save the day?

No. No she will not.

Everypony in this town is crazy.

For those of you who have read my story "Her Sword, Shield, and Friend" this is the story of Night Wing's early years fleshed out. I know doing it as a journal isn't the most original idea ever but it is what it is.

After the War of the Ring and the return of peace to Middle-earth, Gandalf the White departs for Equestria to pay a visit to two old friends of his; specifically, two old alicorn friends of his.

What he does not foresee is that Equestria, like its populace, has changed vastly since his previous visit, and as a result he is quite unprepared for what lies ahead. Can the old wizard endure the trials that this new journey will bring to him? Surely, but only if he makes a few more friends along the way.

Six of them, to be exact.

One thousand years - and seven nights.

Are they enough to cleanse the pain?

Are they enough to cure the blind?

Are they enough to fix dismay?

Twilight breaks Celestia's doors.

But then, you'd be mad too, if your stupid brother got drunk and told you that you were adopted...

(An evolving comedy where the audience ((Hint Hint)) picks who they want on stage!) Mayor Mare, realizing the town is in a slump, decides with the help of her assistant to liven things up around town. With what though? Comedy of course! Thus, the 'Under Delights' comedy club was born! Upon opening, ponies from near and far flock to the club to get a good laugh, sit back, and expect cheesy half-slashed comedy. Who in town (or beyond) will let their comedic flag fly?
