One thousand years after Luna banished her rebellious sister to the sun, Equestria is a perfectly normal place. Eternal night reigns over a prosperous, thriving society. Law and order are maintained by the Nightwings, royal enforcers that execute the princess's will. The kingdom's economy thrives thanks to the megacorporations, sovereign entities dominating every part of the sprawling Equestrian city-state. Competition is fierce and survival is not guaranteed. But that is as it should be. Only the strong will survive to build a better Equestria. True, there are some obstacles. Under the shroud of eternal night, the renegades known as the Elements of Harmony keep the dream of dawn alive. But the night is long and patient, and for many ponies, life is about getting by, not chasing a forbidden dream.

Swift Steel is one of those ponies. He runs with a group of other outcasts, doing jobs for the corps that blur the line between legality and crime. One night a job goes wrong. Now he must chose between hiding in the shadows and facing the light. Will the day dawn, or will the night reign supreme?

In the urban jungles of Equestria, things are about to get interesting.

Sequel to My Little Alicorn and Bringing Up Blueblood.

It has been almost a year since Luna first uncovered the Arcanus E Draconus and used its dark powers to turn her sister into a filly. Since then, she has become more popular than ever, to the point where the Filly Scouts have invited her to officiate their Jamboree, which is being held in Ponyville this year. At the same time, Celestia wishes to reach closure with the infernal tome, as well as escape from her own growing concerns over her future in Equestria.

Little does Luna know that another force is in Ponyville, looking for revenge. And it might just settle for vengeance by proximity...

When the Cutie Mark Crusaders dig up an ancient magical artifact, they unleash a spell on the town that allows everypony to see a "lie meter" floating above each other's heads. While attempting to solve the mystery, Twilight Sparkle has to analyze the tenuous balance between friendship and honesty. She doesn't like what she finds.
