Princess Celestia, tired of the constant pressure that ruling a nation puts on her, decides to take a day off and let Luna take her responsibilities for a day, something the younger alicorn is more than happy to do. She disguises herself as a pink maned pegasus pony named Sunny Skies, and decides to go walking around Canterlot without any supervision. Unfortunately for her, not all parts of Canterlot are as safe as the palace, and she finds herself at the wrong end of a gang of muggers, who decide to kidnap her for a ransom when they see how much money she has on her.

Luna freaks out.

Twilight Sparkle is transported to a nightmarish realm where her mysterious kidnapper expects one thing of her: don't starve. Will she escape? Will she survive? The first day begins...

Bear with me here, since this is my first venture into third-person (pony?) storytelling. The concept and prologue were whipped together over the course of two days, so expect a bit of a waiting period for me to figure out how to write in third person without the entire thing being too dull.

Infuriated by a seemingly unwritable essay, Twilight Sparkle turns to bashing her head against a table to ease the feeling of literary inadequacy. Luckily, Spike is there to offer some more practical advice on finishing her essay--and why she should write it in the first place.

Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria...

One week ago, Twilight Sparkle was crowned the fourth Princess of Equestria.  Tonight, Ponyville hosts the 1003rd Summer Sun Celebration, and Princess Celestia and Princess Luna want a vacation.  With two fine young princesses like Cadance and Twilight to take over for them, nothing could possibly go wrong.

After leaving Alagaesia , Eragon sets out in search for new land to make home and hope it will be the last time he leaves. On his journey, he rests under the moon. The sky showered by dozens of stars. He finds a shooting a star and makes a wish. Only for it to come true? In the middle of his slumber he hears strange noises inside a mysterious forest. He goes in to investigate, only to discover his wish?

You're a random human on Earth trying to get some sleep, but these blasted ponies keep appearing in your room. You don't know where they come from, or how they got here, but they insist on sleeping with you in a non sexual manner.

Have you ever wanted to get cuddled by a pony? How about against your will? No? Yes? Either way you are getting cuddled whether you like it or not.

Warning: Adorable cuddling may or may not be suitable for younger readers.

Warning: I can't select all the ponies, but yes all ponies(and other species) are capable of cuddling you. No you're not safe.

When you were a foal you ended up with front row seats to a momentous event.  Unfortunately that same event caused you brain damage enough that to this day you can't keep both your eyes open for long and the one eye that can see perfectly fine is unable to process color anymore.

Freshly broken up with yet another mare you return to the place that cost you your sight with little going for you other than being a weather Pegasus.  Your boss as it turns out would be the last pony anypony would expect you to get along with at first.  But since she doesn't know and you long since forgave her it should be fine... at least until she decides you're her newest prank victim.

(AN: I'm considering putting Derpy in here but not sure yet.  Also after the first few chapters updates will be PAINFULLY slow, at least while I'm working on my other stories.  Fav at your own risk)

After the Pandorica falls into the exploding TARDIS, it throws The Doctor through the very last crack in time, a crack through which he can cross universes.No TARDIS, no screwdriver, a whole new pony body and a certain unhappy plasmavore that fell through with him, The Doctor begins to think that perhaps his plan was not as fool proof as it could have been.

How will The Doctor protect the highly confusing, sentient ponies from the plasmavore that seems to be harbouring an unholy grudge against all things Timelord? How will he adjust to his new body? And most importantly, why does he have a sudden craving for...pears.

Well, at least he still has his bow tie.

Every time Twilight looks at an atlas, or a map, she sees something that bothers her. After being unable to find the answer with research, she chooses instead to go to one of the two ponies who is bound to have the answer; Princess Celestia herself.

Just why does every place have a pony pun for a name?
