Twilight Sparkle presents a collection of interviews, letters, essays, poetry and prose compiled over several years of her relationship with the human Bellerophon and his "herd", covering subjects as broad as Equestrian social taboos, comparisons of earth and Equestrian mythology, romance and the occasional recipe. Compiled by Twilight Sparkle, with foreword by Her Royal Highness, Princess Celestia.

(This is a bit of an experiment based on the worldbuilding concepts presented in AnonAuthor's Xenophilia [[NSFW] - caveat lector!], which intrigued me enough to want to take a closer look. It's likely you'll be very confused by this unless you read at least some of Xenophilia. Updates will appear as and when an idea pops into my head for a thing to add. And fair warning, some of this might come across very dry and dusty. Thank you academia! And thank you AnonAuthor for letting me have a go, and both AnonAuthor and AnonponyDASHIE for all the collab work they're doing. I'll make up for the dust by tossing in the odd piece of art now and then.)

You have been working for the Apple Family for months now, but you find yourself unable to tell anypony your true thoughts and feelings.  Instead you hide behind a mask so convincing that even the Element of Honesty believes it.

This story takes place in the same universe as my first story, Rising Sun, so if you have some questions look there before asking them.  Anyway, enjoy this, and the two sequels, I Would Give to You, and Faux Pas of the Heart.  Links to those stories can be found in the final chapter.

On a request from Princess Celestia, Twilight Sparkle and the rest of the mane six explore an abandoned mansion located deep in the woods.  While doing so, they unwittingly stumble across an enchanted mirror that scrambles their DNA and pops out three brand new bouncing baby ponies.  Hilarity and drama ensue as the mane six must cope with being suddenly thrust into motherhood, as well as protect their new foals from a dark god that wishes to use them for his own sinister gain.

This story will switch between slice of life and adventure, just like the original show. Romance might show up later.  This is my first ever fan-fiction submission.

Dave on a normal day is brought to Equestria where he finds that it is not only where he is that has changed. He adjusts quickly and finds this new world better than his own in every way imaginable. Would he go back to his home if he had the chance? Will his new friends even allow him to go home? And what is up with the voice in his head?

Things get explained as the story progresses. Also i am putting this up now but keeping it vague so i don't spoil the story but all the stuff at the start actually stops and the story takes a complete change in the later chapters. He may seem Gary Stu but it isn't him. Read some of the comments on comments page 5. Someone (spacecowboy) on there had their first comment as (What is this, it's S***) but he pushed onto the later chapters and then put another comment that was similar to (It all makes sense now, please continue). Yeah i hope some people at least read the later comments as the amount of people that dismiss this makes me sad (annoyed) that i cant reveal everything

There really is no excuse for forgetting something as important as a hoof-written law. But Celestia forgot. And now, a thousand years after she wrote it, a law comes into play mandating that Celestia take a two-month sabbatical from her duties as Princess of Equestria.

So what happens when she has to step down for a couple months and leave Luna by herself in the bloody gladiator ring that is Equestrian politics? What happens when Celestia has to disguise herself and mingle with the populace of Ponyville without them knowing?

The short answer to that would be "a string of hilarious chance encounters, sisterly banter, romantic mishaps, and a political coup that was decades in the making."

The long answer, of course, is this story.
