Rarity has always believed that there exists a prince for every princess. And she's not wrong about that. She's just not right for quite the exact reasons she thinks she is.
Rainbow Dash isn't bitter about the whole Mare-Do-Well incident. Or at least that's what she tells herself. Either way, she's not going to miss this chance for some harmless revenge pranks, and so she constructs a plan to prank all of her best friends, starting with Twilight Sparkle. All Dash needs is a quill and some paper.
Thanks to the amazing DShou for the cover image.
A rainy day can put a damper on anypony's spirits, but occasionally it instead offers new opportunities, even if those are not always expected or wanted.
Forced to cancel plans or shelter hurriedly or even changing somepony's attitude--the power of pegasi precipitation can bring out the best and the worst.
For this collab, each author was simply tasked with writing a story involving a rainy day. Simple showers or terrible storms, as long as the story included rain, it was acceptable. A nice, simple exercise to give the authors a lot of freedom to explore.
Cover, used with permission, by GiantMosquito, who will be selling it as a print at Everfree NW for you con goers, you.
Applejack is fed up with Rainbow, who is back from the Wonderbolts. She can't even place her hoof on it, but she's ticked. Rainbow won't help enough. She's alone in the orchard, and Celestia alone knows where Rainbow is. There's a whole list of reasons, really, and Applejack is just sick of counting them. And so she goes searching.
Looking for a cinnamon substitute, Applejack brings Dash out into the Everfree forest. While there, the ground opens up and takes them into another world with new ponies, new dangers, and a war, centuries old. And this battle certainly won't stop for the two confused mares.
Yes, this will eventually lead to Appledash.
Thanks a whole lot to TheShadow for editing and general helpfulness while working on this thing.
Foal
by
Applejack couldn't be happier with her life. She owns a great farm and has been married for three years to the love of her life, Rainbow Dash. It's everything she's ever wanted in life, but now she wants something more. A family. A foal. Can she convince Rainbow Dash that they are ready to take a new step in their lives or will a haunting secret from Dash's past prevent them from having one?
(I know a story called "Foal" already exists, but I had this idea for months and I couldn't come up with a different title)
Adversity is a stimulus and the first path to truth. It is only through it's fierce fires, that ponies truly become acquainted with one another. When an unusual and powerful storm threatens Ponyville and its citizens, Twilight's considerable magical skill is called upon. This sparks a series of events that may lead to a whole new chapter in the young mares life.
Content rating may change as I add more chapters, but for now it is E for Everyone. Same goes for characters, as they appear I will add them to the list.
A big thanks to Arcanum Symphonis for all the help he/she has gave me on my first chapter.
Memories are the soul of the self; it defines the past, shapes the present, and guides the future.
A year has passed since the events of What Would Daring Do. The memories of their struggles have bonded Applejack and Rainbow Dash into a union of love. But when those memories are lost, can Applejack find the strength and resolve to save the pony she loves? A broken mind is a catastrophe; a broken heart, tragedy.
