Princess Luna knows a thing or two about nightmares and dream magic.  Her duties at Night Court have become tedious.  With the help of some forbidden power and a certain Element of Magic, she reaches out for the companionship and knowledge of modern Equestria she desires.  But while Luna is distracted and Celestia sleeps, an old evil returns with plans both dire and terrible and a new evil plots under their noses.

Twilight Sparkle is happy with her life. Although she has to spend a lot of time in the newly founded Twilit Court, she still has enough time for her studies and even new friends. However, this quickly ends when she suddenly loses a large portion of her memory. Now her friends have to adjust to a new Twilight who does not seem to be herself anymore at all. As if all that was not enough, an unknown force with seemingly unlimited resources is threatening not only Canterlot, but all of Equestria...

"The past catches up to everypony. We try to forget some events, but we do not know what we have lost once they have left our minds. We are no more than the entirety of our memories. Hold on to them, for they are what you are."

Luna comes to Twilight for help in learning about friendship. However, this leades to her falling in love with her sister's student. However, deep within her mind, Nightmare Moon is starting to crawl out again and with an approaching Solar Eclipse to aid in her growth of power, will Twilight be able to conquer Moon through her love or will the Nightmare be free and the night last forever?

Lives will be changed, Friendships will be tested, loves will be lost and when Nightmare rises, Equestria will never ever be the same.

This is my first story I am going to post on here. I have posted others stories before including My Little Pony. This one will be teen' related but a seperate series is to follow this one but with a seperate link and somewhat alternate chapters as well/

Twilight Sparkle is having nightmares. They are oddly real, real enough that she begins having trouble sleeping, which begins to wear on her and the relationships she has with her friends.

She seeks help from the Princesses, but becomes caught up in something so much bigger than a simple nightmare...

Celestia is a leader of Equestria, and even though she is known for being charitable, even she cannot be pure-minded forever.

Our story here has many OCs in it, it is also a crossover in the ONLY way i could ever possibly like one. I've taken assassin's creed and revamped it.

The story takes place two years after Nightmare Moon's banishment, but instead of going to the G4 universe, it branched off and Celestia became corrupt with the power she realized that she had within her.

Twilight lives a comfortable, expected life with the security of her mentors and friends. As she grows into a model unicorn, a dangerous being takes hold of the potentially volatile Brood and steers them towards war. After years of preparation for a higher order, Twilight is chosen to ascend beyond that of a typical magic user in a mysterious plan to counter the unavoidable conflict. During her dark, trying task, Twilight will discover a caged soul and unknowingly set them free, gradually acquiring an affinity for the darkness as a result. With manipulation, deceit, and betrayal storming around her, will she be able to contain herself and protect those she loves, or succumb to the creeping darkness and abandon everything she stands for?
