Twilight Sparkle never was a Unicorn and she didn't even know it.

What happens when her true heritage comes to light? Will she willingly embrace it? Or will she be forced to?

Now edited by uTTerAbsurdity and Zervziel, who are awesome.

Cover art by the talented Cartoonlion and colored by the equally talented Stormwatch, original can be found here or here We also have a tvtropes page now.

Mort, also known as the Pale Pony (of Death), finds himself in a position where he has been tasked to take time off from his rigorous duties of reaping souls. Seeking guidance, he is directed towards the town of Ponyville, to learn about the magic of friendship from Twilight Sparkle and her friends. All he needs to do is keep his true nature a secret. That shouldn't be too difficult...right?

Special thanks to Specter-Von-Baren and Pyrite Foolsgold for their help in proofreading and editing this story, as I really needed it. Additional thanks to Pilate, Chuckle5 and Admiral Biscuit as well! Couldn't have done it without all their help!

Credit for the title card goes to Siansaar, AKA Carnifex.

It is the year 2080 CE, and the Global Population stands at roughly 9.5 Billion Humans. Gross overpopulation and rank greed has caused industrialization to run so rampant the very environment of Earth is threatened for all species left. The Singularity, a point where machines out produce men so much that men can no longer be employed, has caused the natural economic order of thousands of years to be shattered, but for the worst. Just then, a flashes of a Eden-like refuge appear. A world where everyone is not assigned but finds their place. A world where technology and even magic work in conjunction with nature instead of subjugating it. A world of... Ponies?!

It is an unknown year, Equestria lives in relative peace and stability. The endless night of Nightmare Moon was purged not once but twice, and this time for good. The malevolent chaos of Discord was re-ordered and re-sealed, and the psychological scars, although lingering, have now mostly healed. The 6 Bearers of the Elements and the 2 Royal Princesses through a stroke of seemingly dumb luck, manage to see flashes of a parallel world. A world that is the Everfree Forest, except 1000 times worse. A world by that all rights should be entirely dead, but for some strange reason simply refuses to keel over. The Princesses have begun to conceive a grand plan, a plan of the ultimate compassion one can give short of giving one's own life: to rescue an entire planet, heretofore unknown to anyone. The Bearers initially balk at this plan, calling it ludicrous to save an entire planet from its own seeming self-destruction; but sheer resolve of their Princesses convince them to at least try and salvage a dying world, a dying world known as Earth.

WARNING To New Readers: Any canon character used is subject to MY Personal interpretation of that character. If you believe this is a problem in any specific scene or in general, do not be afraid to ask how or why I am using a character a certain way. I actually like the discussions in these regards.

Story will be formally continued at a later date as it's own separate entry, stay on the lookout for it!

Once upon a time, a small, mute girl was given the chance of a lifetime - the chance to go to Equestria, the chance to have a voice, the chance to make a friend. I was that girl, this is my story.

So Equestria is now eating up our world. Humanity has only got a couple of years until Earth is gone. You either get busy trotting or you get busy dying. People have got a lot of changes to make in those short years.

The creator having a metaphysical nightmare, the race to save technology, the last TV specials anyone will see. These are just a few of the tales that will lead humanity on the path to a strange new world.

In an effort not to clutter up my page with random bits of half decent stories, I'm going to just have this one story contain all speedfic and one-off story ideas. I'll add them as chapters, and include a short description about them, so the reader knows what they're getting into. These are going to be pretty hit or miss in terms of quality, so here we go.

The Rainbow Menace Strikes! - Conversion Bureau speed-fic set in 1952. Takes after Invasion of the Body Snatchers, more or less.

Bad Batch - A man with a grudge drinks the wrong potion and becomes an abomination fueled by vengeance!

Thomas is a child worker in the textile factories of 1808 London. When he makes a new friend with one of the ponies that have begun living in London with them, a conspiracy by the upper class to keep their workers is exposed, leading the two down a road paved with violence and deception. After a mishap involving the Transportalponder, the Courier finds himself in a place he doesn't recognize. With no way back and nothing else to do, he decides that wandering into the nearest town is the best option. Being the Courier, things aren't that simple...

A Fallout: New Vegas/My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic crossover

The style alternates between omnipresent third-person and the Courier recounting his tale to... Well, take a guess.

What happens when you discover that your most private of sanctuaries is no longer there? Two beings, one man and one pony, learn just that when they find that their bathrooms are no longer their own. How do these beings handle this strange occurrence and will they let it get in their way?

Since This isn't my bathroom! did so well and I was told by many to do more, I have transformed this into a short series where one poor man will be subjected to more room swaps than should ever happen. Yes, the first addition to the bathroom is the kitchen..
