I always wanted to go to Equestria.  When I got the chance, I took the deal without reading the fine print.  To my surprise, I didn't arrive there as a pony, or even as a human.  It seems I get to view this world from a different perspective than what I've imagined.

The April 1st chapter of Anthropology, which was temporarily posted in place of Chapter 18. I certainly was not going to let this masterpiece disappear forever.

Everyone wanted to see what would happen if Lyra watched an episode of My Little Pony, so I took that concept and pushed it to its most logical conclusion.

Humans.

Truth or myth? Ancient lost civilization or just an old pony's tale?

No pony has ever seen one, and most haven't even heard of them. But Lyra knows that these wonderful creatures are more than just old legends, and she's going to find out... and possibly drive her roommate insane in the process.

Douglas Jones has everything he needs in life; family, friends, and is looking forward to the future. But after a series of unfortunate events unfold, he feels he needs some time by himself. When he finds himself in a mysterious forest, he doesn't know where to go or what to do. But luckily, all it might take is a hand - or a hoof - to help him find his way.

Additional characters and categories will be added as the story progresses. Rated teen for language and violence. Rating might change further along the line.

This story will take place a few months before the first episode of MLP: FiM. I may add one or two episodes in, but I will not do a copy/paste from the show, and will be primarily from the protagonist's point of view.

Gerald McCormack, a 22 year old college student (And someone who likes to swim in junkyards, that disgusting freak...) that is living by himself with his trusty butler, Gordon. When he stumbles upon a strange majestic-like woman in his own obstacle course--with a pair of Double D's I might add--he takes the woman in, and realizes she strongly resembles Princess Celestia! Will she be able to handle the human world that is so different from Equestria's? Or will she go into a paranoia freak out and Gerald would be forced to kick her out since she seems to be a crazed drug-addict hippy!?

AN: This is part of a collab called PonyFall, which each author is required to take one pony from the Equestria unvierse and place her into the human world, within the self-insert's care. Yes, this is a self-insert... somewhat. Every author in the collab is required to do this. And honestly? I vowed never to do self-inserts ever again, and this was 6 years ago...

And yes, since this is a human fic, I want you guys to be honest with the criticism. Please don't "Ooh, it's an over-done human fic so I'm gonna thumb it down" sorta deal, I ask that you at least give it a chance, especially since every other collab author is doing the same thing.
