Queen Chrysalis is dying. Never fully recovered from the failed attack on Canterlot, the once proud Queen finds herself weaker than ever before. With no son or daughter heir, Queen Chrysalis is forced to invoke the old laws, and name one of the last enemies to defeat her as the new Queen. As Twilight Sparkle, Element of Magic, prepares to participate in the Unity Chalice, she finds her life turned up-side down as changelings kidnap her and bring her before the old Queen. With no choice but to make one last promise, Queen Twilight Sparkle sets out to make peace between the Changeling Horde and the races of Equis. Little does she know, things wont be that easy.

Twilight is a Canterlot Orphan. Her parents mysteriously disappeared one day, and were announced dead in the line of duty for the Crown. Growing up as an Orphan has had its benefits, but now the young unicorn receives a surprise she had never expected: Princess Luna, the Immortal Ruler of Equestria, wants Twilight Sparkle as her personal protege. But not just any protege. Luna is grooming Twilight to become the next Valkyrie, an elite Mage who acts as Luna's right hoof. When Twilight discovers a long buried secret during her studies, the new Valkyrie is put to the test to find a way to prevent day from falling across Equestria-- Forever.

Rainbow Dash isn't having a very good day. First she was in some dark place, then it turns out she's in the hospital. Oh, and she's apparently blind now.

Twilight was expecting to have a nice, relaxing morning bath. What she did not expect, was for Rainbow Dash to interrupt her by crashing through the window. Twilight, instead of yelling at Rainbow, invites her to take a bath together.

Luna takes a personal day at the request of her sister and Twilight Sparkle, but whilst visiting they each find something hidden in their hearts they didn't know was there....

Canterlot... For centuries, Canterlot was the shining gem of Equestria, the pinnacle of pony society. Now, it’s a reminder, a bleak and monolithic warning to the world. 

Changed by the chemical and technological poisons that plague the mountain, an abomination of nature, I wander the greatest disaster Equestria has ever seen. 

... I will escape eventually, and when I do, I hope my friends still see me as Twilight Sparkle, and not the monster that hides among the ruins. 

A few weeks ago, Chrysalis and her brood attacked Ponyville for revenge against Twilight. During the fight, the final spells of the two collide and create a portal that they're sucked into. The Princesses with the help of the others manage to summon them back only to find... that the two are marefriends!? How the buck did that happen!?

There was only one explanation. For all of it. All of the strange, erratic behavior. Her irrational fear of the sun. Her nocturnal habits of locking herself in in the dark and closing all the blinds. Wearing her sunglasses everywhere, even inside! It was time to invest in some silver, garlic, and a wooden stake.

Twilight Sparkle has been in a rut, and when she finds herself dragged in to a new night club by her friend named Vinyl Scratch, she finds herself being more social than ever with her new best friend.... But is there more than friendship between the two? What of Pinkie and her new, more often visits?

This is my first fic, so tips will be appreciated. I'm hoping that this story can somewhat weather all the criticism I'm sure I'll get. Feel free to tell me what I can improve on, and anything else you guys need!

After nearly being mugged Twilight turns her considerable talent with magic towards self defense. When a fight with Luna goes farther that either of them wants it to, Twilight will need to find redemption in her new position as Luna's bodyguard and stop a conspiracy that wants to bring back a force more dangerous than either of them.
