Princess Celestia, tired of the constant pressure that ruling a nation puts on her, decides to take a day off and let Luna take her responsibilities for a day, something the younger alicorn is more than happy to do. She disguises herself as a pink maned pegasus pony named Sunny Skies, and decides to go walking around Canterlot without any supervision. Unfortunately for her, not all parts of Canterlot are as safe as the palace, and she finds herself at the wrong end of a gang of muggers, who decide to kidnap her for a ransom when they see how much money she has on her.

    Luna freaks out.

    Celestia thinks it's hilarious.

For years Nightmare Moon was considered "nothing but an old pony tale," but what did those tales actually say about her?    See Luna, Celestia, and Discord as viewed through pony myths and legends.

I may add more short stories on in the future as new chapters.

This here is a short story that came to me as I sat in the shade of a Humvee, eating an MRE. It's a little funny and a little sad, and it is the tale of how a mare named Jade became the afterlife receptionist for Ponyville.

We have seen Luna as a sarcastic misfit among ponies, at times corrupted by evil......

But does anyone know the true story?

Is Luna really so different from every other pony?

Luna fights long and heartbreaking battles....... But most of them- are with herself.

Fighting the power of Nightmare Moon, waging war with her sister, falling in love, and most importantly simply trying to find her place in Equestria.

When a debt-collection company sends a representative to collect on Lyra's parents' debts, they don't care that her parents have been missing for years - the debt is legally hers. If she can't pay up, she'll lose her house.

In order to pay the debt, Lyra devises a plan that simply can not fail - she'll convert her home into an item shop and sell her way to riches! Surely Bon Bon will help, too. What could possibly go wrong?

Willow is a thestral-- one of the bat-winged pegasi, rarely seen anywhere outside of Princess Luna's royal guard, and never quite welcome anywhere in Equestria. His parents have moved away from Canterlot to try and get a new start for all of them... but how well can a young batpony fit into a tiny, insular little community like Ponyville?

Most legends are born from a single small grain of truth, others are born from the pure imagination of a few ponies, but as Ponyville very well knows not all legends are that. When something saves Apple Bloom from a pack of Timberwolves will she be able to convince the others of what she saw or will she just have to find the truth herself?

I would like to give a big big thanks to Danupert for pre-reading chapters 4 through 12. Thank you so much.

Also want to thank Annoyed Changeling and Ratfinkdos for being willing to help with this story. Thank you.
