When Applejack and Spitfire both become romantic interests in Rainbow Dash's life, she leaves on a soul search to clear her head. When she goes past the barrier of civilization she comes to realize that Equestria is a much more dangerous place than anypony could anticipate. Fond of her new life of adventure, Rainbow Dash spends her days exploring the outskirts of her homeland, learning all that she can about the world around her. But what lies beyond is far more than she would ever expect and the Elements of Harmony can't help her out here.

This story contains both Appledash and Dashfire shipping and we won't know who comes out on top until the very last chapter, thought there will be a lot of tugging and pulling from both sides. If anybody decides to they want to root for one side rather than the other than please just be respectful of shippers on the other side. A little friendly competition never hurt but our pony friends wouldn't want you all to cause problems.

Rainbow Dash tries out for the Thunderway 500, a racing event that this year is being held in Ponyville. Can Rainbow hold her nerve in the knowledge that Spitfire is competing too? What do Rainbow and Spitfire discover about one another after a night of heavy drinking? Are they perhaps going too fast?

However, her pain is nothing compared to the oncoming threat to Ponyville. A griphon regime is rising, vengeance of years of oppression in their eyes. An AppleDash story with a side of chaos.

Rainbow Dash brings along a few bottles of cider when she's meeting Fluttershy to practice and show off her new tricks. Apparently the cider has been sitting in the sun for a bit too long and provokes a strange change in Fluttershy's behavior. After a sudden revelation, both pegasi need to get their thoughts and hearts to agree, or their friendship is at risk.

Spitfire has only met Rainbow Dash a few times, but something about this lightning-fast pegasus has stayed on Spitfire's mind. Was it the fact that Rainbow Dash saved her life? Was it her steadfast determination to realize her dream of being in the Wonderbolts? Either way, Spitfire's going to find out, and all it takes is the Wonderbolts' next off weekend...

After the events of the Royal Wedding, Rainbow Dash seeks the company of Fluttershy on the train ride home. Whether to seek proper closure, or just to be near her, isn't quite clear. As they gaze out the window to the rolling landscape of the night, the two Pegasi best friends have a time for their introspection of aspects of the recent past. An introspection into dealing with certain feelings they may have.

Rainbow Dash has come to a recent revelation, and has finally accepted it. Fluttershy is yet to be sure and if she accepts it. Yet, undeniably, something lingers.
