A letter from a man whose friend has died to the cast and crew of MLPFiM has unexpected results...

This story is more about a fan of the show, even though a couple of the characters do make an appearance at the end. It is a take on an actual letter I helped a friend write six years ago. Although that was to Piers Anthony, and it was the survivor that was helped, but that makes no difference.

This story was inspired by the story Sing me a Lullaby. By OneTrickPon3.

In working on the other two short stories, one of them morphed into another full blown epic that will have to wait, the other sadly i couldn't get past 200 words so this it for this line. I've changed the status to reflect the new form of the story.

Vinyl can only imagine two possible explanations for what has happened: she has tumbled into an alternate universe where she's Twilight Sparkle, or, after everypony telling her she'd do it eventually, she's finally gone and lost her mind.

Scootaloo's birthday is coming up, and Rainbow Dash is unsure of what to get her number one fan. Upon asking her, it seemed her birthday wish would be a little harder to obtain than Dash thought. Enlisting the help of Twilight, the two mares set out to ensure that little Scootaloo has the best birthday ever.

That's right, a fic about best filly where nothing bad, tragic, or otherwise horrible happens to her, or anypony else. This is my attempt at an episode like fic.
