A lot of ponies think that ‘The Wonderbolts’ are just a fancy flying team. That ‘Wonderbolts’ is just a name they made up to call themselves. Very few know the truth, and very few know that it takes more than a great flying to become a Wonderbolt.

Muddy Bottom, Eloni Pear and their adopted daughter Fae are travellers.
Mud is an unfortunate-coloured earth pony stallion with a talent for tracking and exploring.
Eloni is a zebra story-teller with a penchant for cartography and common sense.
Fae is a bright green and blue pegasus colt with strange, lizardine eyes.
Together they explore the small sea-side village of Lilac Cove, and begin to discover some of the mysteries surrounding the area.
Interesting Events is a chance to discover how places other than those we know and love from the canon get on, both with daily life and the more world-shaking events.
Vanquished
by
On a cold moonless night, a pegasus awakens in the Everfree Forest with no memory of how he got there and no memory of anything else. He can only remember his name, Vanquish. He winds up in Ponyville and must try to piece together his past, but strange events follow him everywhere he goes, and soon the residents of Ponyville are asking questions of their own. Who is this pony? Where did he come from? Vanquish and everypony else seek answers, but all they find are more questions, one after another. Soon ponies start disappearing. Strange dreams plague the townsfolk. There are creatures in the dead of night that howl like wild beasts. What does it all mean? Vanquish and the rest of Ponyville search for the truth, but it almost seems as if the truth has been...vanquished.
Cover art by me. In case it's not clear, that's Vanquish's cutie mark.
An experiment in FiM reinterpretation.

Matt "MrBackpack" Martinez has finally gotten his life on track; he's got a job that he loves, a good enough home, a beautiful fiance, and a dog. Little does he know that all of that hard work is about to be threatened by the presence of a very confused and very naked young woman appearing in his fudge-smelling Texas backyard.

It's late, in fact it's so late it's early. The clock in the room reads well past one in the morning. There's also a storm hammering against this girl's home, trying to lull her to sleep. Stubbornly, she remains awake, drawing, surfing the internet, and basically procrastinating another night away.
So, what is it that makes this night any different from another one that she has lived through? What strange occurrence occurs that makes it stand out? That changes her life forever? That changes the course of- Oh you get the idea.
Have a look through "A Twilight Landing" and find out. This story is way more than the description can even hint at, just read it if you love big, overlying stories that have lots of satisfying surprises in store for you.

One day, Applejack happens upon a strange old journal that appears to be written by a master criminal - Black Jack the Outlaw, a mysterious stallion with powers beyond that of any normal earth pony, who terrorized Equestria with his gang of miscreants in days long past. What secrets are hidden in the pages of his old journal?
This, as well as magical mishap at Twilight's place, would trigger a series of events leading to an adventure unlike any the six pony friends have ever encountered before.

Set in an alternate universe in which Twilight never become and Alicorn, and where Ponies and Humans co-exist in harmony, Aaron Rogers comes back from his extended stay in Russia to find that someone has moved into the house right next to his while he was gone. It seems that he has a new neighbor.
*Note that the divider used in this description is not the one used in the story. It seems unnecessary to say this, but I have gotten raging downvotes for something similar before. Srs. -_-
Their mission was to drop into Pakistan and retrieve a CIA asset. But the op was more than a little odd; comms not working, an unpredicted cloud bank, and the CIA not knowing where it's people are. As Pararescuemen Jack "Frost" McDaniel and Harris "Duke" Sky will learn, there is a lot more happening in this rescue operation than anyone could ever have known.
