An indirect sequel to “My Little Staring Contest: Alicorns can stare for a very long time.”
Sequel to The Return of Princess Nightmare Moon! After having made a full medical recovery Princess Nightmare Moon tries her hoof at wooing one of her subjects, Nurse Bandaid. Her loud, bombastic and bossy ways may be a little too much for the poor guy! Meanwhile, a freshly regenerated Chrysalis returns to feed on Celestia. Will anypony see through her ruse if she's hiding in plain sight?
Gladius the AI has developed a fear of death. Can its bureaupony operators help, or is it just another technological victim of the encroaching Barrier?
In a world very much like our own, a chemical has been discovered that is going to test what two sisters know about reality. Are they Lucy and Sophia, or Luna and Celestia?
Why are they bombarded by memories of a world that cannot exist? How are they going to survive living a double life, and what can they do to fix everything?
It's worth noting that this takes place in an alternate human universe where MLP is not a show that exists. So the characters don't have the benefit of that 'reference'.
We all know the story of how the Princess’ young student and five friends defeated Nightmare Moon, and brought Princess Luna back to our lands. But what if the tale were false? What if the young Twilight Sparkle on the event of her entrance exam had not been rescued by Princess Celestia, but instead lost her mind among the power of her youthful surge, and had to be sent away, far away before she could destroy all of Canterlot with her newfound power. Now the feral unicorn prowling the Everfree Forest only vaguely remembers her past, slipping away from constant terrifying attempts to capture her.
And she is beginning to remember what true power felt like.
Scootaloo has always been a filly with big dreams, but can they all come true?
At the very least, she can always follow in the hoofsteps of her hero, right?
