        The Royal Guard is the force that ensures the safety of all creatures living inside Equestria's borders. Everyone in Equestria admires their strength and courage. They stand strong and resolute as Equestria's first line of defense against the many threats to her sovereignty and to her rulers. Sadly, the glory days of the royal guard are now past; both the Solar Guard and recently reformed Lunar Guard a fragment of what they once were.

        Awaking from a near-coma state brought on by a devastating injury, Oak Leaf proceeds to follow his half-remembered goal of joining the Royal Guard. However, as the earth pony’s fractured memories begin to reassert themselves, doubt is cast over his motives. In the face of a rising threat, the Royal Guard hardly has time for such hesitation. But would they want him anyway, considering there hasn't been an earth pony in the Royal Guard for over three hundred years?

Scarlet has been hunted by the changelings for nearly three years now. They captured her and tortured her, but she has managed to escape. However, in the process, her mind is shattered, splitting into two separate personalities and developing amnesia. When she meets Capo and Magikasta, she works with with to escape the changelings. Along the way she discovers her past. Faced with a terrible fate, she must fight for not only her life, but her mind and freedom.

Rated teen for mild language, suggestive content, violence and mild gore.

Everyone wants to escape the routine for a while. To walk out the door and see new places, meet new ponies, and do new things. To travel, to explore, to go on an adventure. When Twilight Sparkle is offered just such an opportunity, she doesn't think twice, throwing herself into a fantastic voyage of cultural exploration, scientific discovery, and maybe even a little bit of romance. It doesn't hurt that Rainbow Dash comes along for the ride, either. It does benefit a novice explorer, however, to read the fine print before setting out with a group of complete strangers... Airships, ancient super-runes, bounty hunters, llamas, Australian accents, and dry cereal await you should you choose to join, so what are you waiting for? Jump in!

This is a short adventure story I've had buzzing around in my head for some time now. I intended it to read episodically (short chapters, fast pace, and with periodic comic relief). Updated on Sunday afternoons. Rated teen for mild violence and swearing in later chapters, but is otherwise a lighthearted adventure. Cover art done as a request by the incredible, stupendous, good hearted, praiseworthy, and presumably immortal Zeeclaw.

A changeling who has lived at the side of an Equestrian mare for most of his life finds himself in the middle of the changeling invasion of Canterlot. He has no idea who the invading queen or hive are, and just wants to stay where he is, and more importantly, who he is. The spell that ends the invasion doesn't discriminate, though. With his old pony form irreversibly stripped away, and the whole kingdom out to hunt his kind, he tries to keep his family together, and struggles to find his place in the world.

Raindrops has always had a problem with her anger, and despite her strong self-control, she sometimes can't help but lose it. Unfortunately, her latest explosion has not only gotten her suspended from her job, but also ordered to attend anger management. When she finds an alternative procedure, however, she's suddenly all smiles and giggles. Can her friends figure out what's happened and bring her back to normal? And more importantly, will Raindrops even want that to begin with?

Kuno, a young changeling, is left weak, bloodied, and bruised after the events of the Canterlot wedding. She is soon discovered by Warden, a Royal Guard. But for some reason, Warden shows her mercy. Instead of taking her into the custody of the Royal Guard, he becomes both her captor and her savior. But over time, Kuno will come to ask herself the hardest question she has ever pondered: Can a changeling feel love?

Big Macintosh is a stallion of few words, but that doesn't mean he's slow or uneducated.  Unknown to any outside the Apple family, he's a wiz at math and finds himself smitten with the one pony who could share his love for numbers, and who just so happens to be the personal student of Princess Celestia; Twilight Sparkle.  With a "gentle" nudge from his persistent sister, Big Mac manages a date with the purple unicorn, but a relationship might turn out to be more work than either one bargained for.

After Babs Seed moves in with her cousins and grandmother at Sweet Apple Acres, seven years and twenty-eight seasons of lessons about friendship, love, and the true meaning of family shape her into the mare she ultimately becomes.

What became of Babs Seed's mother and sister? Will the bobtailed foal ever see the ones she left behind again? How will the other Ponyville Cutie Mark Crusaders react to their fourth member earning her cutiemark before the rest? Is family what we are born into, or is it what we choose to create? And, ultimately, can a city-pony truly adapt to country life?

This is the second installment in the Tangled Roots timeline. "Sweet Apple Anthology" is a collection of sequential side-stories spanning across seven years after the end of the first story's final chapter and continuing to its Epilogue.
