Twilight Sparkle thought she knew a lot about history. But when she was caught in the Everfree Forest, she comes across a strange being offering her secret knowledge about the past. At first skeptical, Twilight is drawn into the dark and secretive history of the biggest war in recorded history, the Changeling-Pony War, and its hero that laid forgotten in the Everfree Forest for over a thousand years.

This story takes place almost 40 years before Princesses Celestia and Luna began raising the Sun and Moon every day. It follows three ponies and one special pony into the Changeling-Pony War and it's devastating aftermath. With the exception of Twilight Sparkle and locations, all names were made by me and a friend of mine.

Lacuna is the son of Wrath, ruler of the sixth level of Hell. He is everything you would not expect from a demon. He doesn't like fighting, he doesn't like torturing, he doesn't like fire or lava, he doesn't like possessing people to potentially create a Paranormal Activity 26 or something. But he does like flying, and he definitely loves reading, especially about the World of the Living....

The city of Keizer has always been quiet not to much actually happens and Rick enjoys that to an extent but when the Iris Festival comes to town he makes a purchase that gives him a opportunity and it brings up a few questions.

Scootaloo is living a good life right now. She is able to fly quite well now thanks to Rainbow Dash's assistance and is getting better and better at it. She has her own special somepony, Rumble, and while they aren't the most romantic couple in the world, he is somebody Scootaloo knows she can fly with at any time. All and all she is living a pretty good life.

And Diamond Tiara does not like that. As she watches Scootaloo from afar she is jealous over all Scootaloo has managed to accomplish and all the friends she has. So as soon as Silver Spoon comes back with new look that makes stallions drool, Diamond Tiara hatches a plan. To steal Rumble away from Scootaloo.
