When you read or watching something excellent, you'll find that the world draws you right in, and never lets you go. Sometimes, it'll be so good and so well executed, it's as if you can reach out and touch it. After unwinding a long day of royal duties, Twilight also herself in such a world, with herself front and center in the tale soon to unfold.
Charles Dickens's 1843 novel: A Christmas Carol has seen countless renditions and reinvention. Each focusing more on the social and emotional impacts of the journey of Ebeneezer Scrooge from his cynical and self absorbed greed to being a happy and giving individual in the end. And from a heart felt perspective, who doesn't like seeing the moody and miserable transformed into a upbeat and kind hearted person?
But what happens if you look at the story from a more logically and rationally centered point of view?
Story contains: OC, I know a lot of people hate OC's, but this story is one of them. (And a little shout out to another Original by FIM's very own: GentlemenJ.)
Where madness reigns so does equality for are we not mad in our own right to think all others as equals? Are not pegasi and unicorns different? Then how do we all coexist? By trying to create our own god in an image that caters to our view on how life should be.
There's a lot that can be said about Octavia Philharmonica and Vinyl Scratch. They came into contact with many ponies as they grew into their fame, ponies whose stories could not be fit into the pages of syncopated rhythms and synchronized thoughts. This will serve as a counterpoint, a collection of stories that relate to the main tale, supplementing and expanding it, but never quite fitting into Vinyl and Octavia's original tale.
Multiple side stories to Syncopation.
A pair of Ferengi merchants and part-time slave traders (any time they think they can get away with it) decide to pick up some people from the newly discovered world of Equestria - a world without local space travel. For variety, they decide to pick out one of each of the major groupings - a pegasus, and earth pony, a unicorn. For ease of control, they pick out juveniles.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders fit the bill perfectly.
(Sidequel to Equestria's First Warp Drive)
Once upon a time, the Federation paid a visit to Equestria. The story of that visit - and some of its consequences - is detailed over here.
Partway through the tale (in chapter 15, to be exact) a Ferengi ship passing through space meets another ship. There were meta-narrative reasons for this, reasons why the author thought it would be necessary.
These reasons were promptly proven incorrect.
This, therefore, is the story of what would have happened, had the Ferengi ship not met anyone else on their way through space. It follows on directly from chapter 14 (Further Communication) of Equestria's First Warp Drive; I strongly recommend that you read the first fourteen chapters of that story first, and then return here.
That can defeat Archon, the ancient black dragon that has ruled Equestria for over 500 years.
This story is taken place in an alternate universe in which the mane six have since died. Twilight Sparkle gave her life with a powerful spell that put to sleep a black dragon named Archon for 10,000 years. 1,000 years after Twilight Sparkles death Archon suddenly awakes and wishes to wreck havoc and claim Equestria as his own. 500 Years after the siege of Canterlot and the overthrow of Celestia, a young mare named Sedgwick discovers an ancient magic hidden by Celestia that can be used to destroy Archon.
The Girls, together with Spike, are heading to Canterlot for this year's Hearth's Warming Eve pageant when the coupling connecting their coach to the rest of the train snaps. When the coach finally comes to a stop, the group finds themselves on a strange Island with no easy way home. Who will they encounter? What will they get themselves into? How exactly are they going to get home?
All rights to their respective owners.
Hearth's Warming Eve time is everypony's favorite holiday. Snow, meeting with family, catching a loved one under the mistletoe, and just the spirit that brings us all together. But actually making the effort to be there, to get a gift, is the hardest part of it all. What is a certain dragonquus to do, when he doesn't know what sort of gift would be perfect for his favorite element?
**A Discopie story for christmas. I need to work on the dynamic between these two for my main story, and save my paranoia-- hope you enjoy this, all you fans lurking in the shadows of FIM. Found adorable picture on equestria daily. Credit goes to whoever made it.
Ten years after a catastrophic event leaves Equestria, its inhabitants, its global power, in ashes, Princess Celestia and Luna have been overthrown and Princess Twilight has gone dark. Now under the control of a new evil, survivors rise up in the fallen nation and form an elite rebellion known as the Ghosts. They do not fight to take back their world. They do not fight for freedom. They fight simply to survive.
Call of Duty: Ghosts Crossover. This is going to have the same atmospheric feeling as Call of Duty: Ghosts will have, though there will be many differences. So don’t think this is a complete rip-off of every single mission in the campaign.
