from my understanding, the technical rules of the game played by the gods is in fact a "Last-man-standing" deal. the difference i that, that's a surface rule. most of the gods use the game as something else entirely, basically dropping the whole winning condition. Discord's doing it for FUN, for pete's sake. he doesn't even care about winning. I recall some gods just wanting to spread their religion or something. so while the official winner is the last piece standing, gods may have accomplished their goals without that. I suppose it IS kinda like hunger games  in a way.

I think it's still meant to be a last man standing, but I'm not sure about it (as I am not sure of how much of the things I do know I can tell without the mods frowning at me).

So basically is it last man standing? I'm sure you can forfeit so you don't have to die if you lose. It's most likely probably this.

Who created this universe and what was the first story?

I have never been so confused as when I attempt to understand what is going on in the CGotG universe. I am just here on the chance that I will get down to reading all of the stories Im behind on and try and read through this universe.
