Premise: Shining Armor is a loving brother, always looking out for his little sister.
However, he’s also a touch… over protective.
When Twilight reveals that she’s seeing Timber Spruce. Who is, in her words “guy friend from out of town”. Shining Armor is naturally suspicious of this “guy friend” and secretly follows her…
Meanwhile Princess Twilight, deciding to take a break from her Princess duties to spend the day with Flash and brush up on more human culture. Not aware that her human counterpart is having her own date at the same time!
Shining now unknowingly finds himself stuck following two dates at the same time!
If this is up for grabs, I could do it in my spare time (not now though, a little busy). I already have the funniest scene in mind:
Since Twi and Sci-Twi are both going on different types of dates (Sci-Twi and Timber to a peaceful romcom film, a nice quiet dinner, and a new museum exhibit; Twi and Flash to a more action-y film, fast food, and a nightclub), Shining has had more than a few encounters with both patrons and security. It doesn't help he never actually sees his sis's date's face and that Timber and Flash both have the same builds, height, and make and color of car. Finally, more than a little haggard and run down, Shining sees Twi and Flash in Flash's car near the school being maybe more than a little... friendly towards each other (nothing major, of course; Flash is just teaching Twi the fine human art of "making out") . Seeing this, Shiny gets a burst of energy and marches over (uh oh). He opens Flash's door, yanks him out by his jacket and threatens to rip him a new one (and he just might at that). Twi recognizes Shining and angrily asks him what he's doing . Shining then turns to Twi and starts ripping into her about trust and responsibility. THEN Sci-Twi and Timber see them on their way home and go to intervene. Sci-Twi recognizes Twi and also recognizes the bro in question and demands to know what he thinks he's doing! Shining starts to answer, but stops realizing that's his sister speaking... but she's behind him. He turns and sees a confused Timber and a very P.O.ed Sci-Twi. He drops Flash and starts pointing and babbling at both groups thoroughly confused to see TWO Twilight Sparkles. Finally, he looks out into space (braking fourth wall, so to speak) and points at both groups with a crazed out looks on his face.
Thanks. I thought it was pretty good. In my mind, Shining would never truly believein all that mumbo jumbo about "magic" and "pony worlds." Cadence and Sci-Twi would probably have to come up with a story that, while it would get the point across that Cinch did pressure Sci-Twi and cause her harm, they never truly specified just what happened. They even kept Spike's ability to talk a secret since they knew he would freak out . Now, unfortunately, they have to explain it to him. Won't be easy, of course.
