Okay so I have never played the first Pokemon Ranger(or any Ranger game for that matter). But looking at the Fiore Region, there is something I find ......bland and small about it

total of 4 towns, 4 routes, and 10 areas
Now here is Kanto
significant difference right?
I would say software limitations at the time prevented Game Freak from making the region bigger to explore. But then Shadows of Almia was relased on the same family and the regions looks more inspired and bigger.
One of the things I love about Pokemon is the emphasis on exploration, a trait shared with the critically acclaimed Metroid Prime series and The Legend of Zelda.
