[Author's Notes: Remember when I said next post was going to be a crossover? Well I lied.
Anyways, I've gotten some more "A-okay's" on other crossovers. However I'm not going to spill the beans and reveal their identities, so you'll just have to wait a bit longer.]
Enjoy!
--------[]---------[]------
Twilight and the rest of the Mane Seven currently resided in the Dining Hall, feasting on dinner foods of all kinds. Spreads of vegetables, fruits, baked goods, and several other consumables were scattered throughout the elongated table. Princesses Celestia and Luna sat at opposite ends, with the mares occupying the sides of the table.
"So Storm is sitting out on dinner?" Lyra asked, lightly chewing on a carrot as her gaze drifted towards the Royal Sisters. The others directed their heads towards Celestia as she spoke.
"He wanted to be left alone 'til 9 A.M. tommorow. So we might as well let him be."
"Isn't he hungry though?" Twilight asked curiously. "As far as I know, he hasn't really eaten much since his arrival." The others nodded at this.
"Well yes, but it's his decision. Maybe humans don't need to eat as much?" Rarity asked while delicately sipping a cup of herbal tea. "I didn't want to say this in front of him, but he's looking a little....worse for wear. The poor dear."
"I'm sure he looked that way because he hadn't bathed in awhile. Hopefully, that's what he's doing right now." Twilight interjected, taking small mouthfuls of vegetable soup.
The others began talking about various things. Rainbow Dash started talking about her routine, with a silent Fluttershy listening to every word. Rarity and Applejack were having a discussion on fashion (It was mostly one-sided, and I'm sure you know who), while Twilight and Pinkie Pie were chatting away about what they learnt from the human.
The Royal Sisters remained silent however, images of an individual being chased flashing through their eyes. They remained silent and watched carefully as strange pieces of metal flew past the field of vision they were looking through. An occasional firework going off slightly startled both of them as their POV ducked behind a tree for cover.
After the owner of the POV evaded it's assaliant, and was surrounded by things they couldn't see due to bleariness, the vision faded. Both sisters looked at each other uneasily as they spoke telepathically.
'Where...did that come from?'
'I'm not entirely sure... there was so much distortion, I couldn't even make out whatever was chasing...us?'
'I don't think this is a vision....it seems more like a memory almost?'
'Who would ever experience being hunted like that though? Crimes in Equestria are usually quite rare, so hunting for criminals hasn't been done for centuries.'
'Perhaps we should be asking our newest inhabitant at the moment about it.'
'You believe it involves the human?'
'You have any other ideas who it could belong too?'
'No. For now, let's not dwell on this until tommorow.'
'Agreed.'
The attention from everyone's conversations were redirected when a particular servant came walking through the doors to the hall. Celestia instantly called him out.
"Aren't you supposed to wait outside Storm's suite if he needs anything?"
"He asked me to get him some vegetable soup Your Highness." The servant responded, pouring himself a medium-sized bowl of soup. "He also told me to take the rest of the night off. He's alright in my book Your Highness." He smiled as he wandered over towards the bread division on the table.
"You do realize I still gave you a direct Royal order to stay put there you know?" Celestia stated with a slightly trolling smile. The servant simply smiled back though.
"He stated that since he was apparently 'soon to be royalty', that he overruled your order and gave me the rest of the night off. Anyways, I'm off to deliver him some food." With that, the servant turned on his hoofs and walked out the hall, dinner for an alien in tow. Celestia's eye was slightly twitching at being outsmarted.
"Well looks like Storm is making a good impression already." Luna said with a dry chuckle. The others gave a small laugh as well before Twilight began speaking in a confused tone.
"Hey, where did Lyra go? Wasn't she here a second ago?" The others gave short shrugs as they looked around.
"Perhaps she went to use the little filly's room?" Rarity asked as she looked around.
Little did they know of Lyra's actual intentions on her current absence...
-------[]---------[]----------
'Okay Ed, let's skim through some realities shall we?'
"Ready when you are. We got some time to burn right?"
'I'm sure we do, maybe ten minutes or so.'
"Alright, let me start pulling up ones at random."
I sat back in my subconscious and watched as images of separate realities floated past me. I figured to try any realities with humans first. 'If they got to Equestria, then hopefully they have a way out.' I thought as the first image hovered into my view.
I saw a brief flash of a human male, maybe 15 or 16 flying towards what I remember to be Rainbow Dash's home. His apparent flight was coming from his Hermes-styled shoes. A quick personality scan proved that he wasn't the sanest individual around. I bookmarked the reality and looked on to the next one.
The next one held a human and the Mane Six standing next to... a police telephone booth? 'The hell...?' Closer examination proved there was another with them, a brown stallion with an hourglass mark on his ass (I believe that was a 'cutie mark' or something). Suddenly it hit me, hard.
"That's fucking Doctor Who. Never thought he'd get access to Equestria."
'No fooling. Perhaps we should pop into this one, and use the TARDIS to give us a lift back?'
"We'll see. Bookmark it for now."
One successful bookmark later, I kept watching it for some reason. They entered the TARDIS and time fast-fowarded. When they reappeared, the human was equipped with a baseball bat he previously didn't have. A quick personality check came back with 'random'. I noted a large grey Russian soldier cap that adorned his head and pondered the items he had in his large bags.
'Yep, definitely can go to Earth it seems.'
"Enough gawking Storm, we got plenty of realities to still look through."
I nodded and looked at another image. This housed a human walking through some large-scale vault, accompanied by the human from the first image. I examined the artifacts that they looked at, and came to the deduction that this particular human was some sort of interdimensional traveler. He looked familiar, but I couldn't remember clearly enough. Another bookmark was placed before I heard my suites door open.
'Probably just that servant with my food. Hope he'll just leave it and depart without further disturbing me.'
However, the hoof-steps seemed...softer. They were slower as well, giving the impression that whoever this was, they were planning to sneak up on me. I didn't open my eyes, I wanted to have utter surprise when I dropped my assailant. My mind started running through different scenarios and variables before I suddenly put my plan into action.
I lurched up instantly, using my leg to reap the two front hooves while simultaneously using the same leg to come back and drive my heel into their skull. Using my still solid leg as a pivot, I swung my left hand down like a hammer, slamming the body into the floor. I kept my eyes closed, allowing my other senses to work their magic.
I felt myself pin the pony on the floor and instinctively raised my palm, exposing my hidden blade on my left hand. I used my right hand to pin the neck as I cracked my eyes open.
What I saw made me reel back in slight horror.
I was currently sitting on an unconscious Lyra. A small amount of blood was trickling from the back of her head where my heel collided. She had a black-eye and was muttering weakly.
"Dammit Lyra! Don't sneak up on me..." I retracted the blade and started using the Force to replace the blood, remove the bruising, and dull any pain that might follow. I gave a short sigh of relief as she started coming too, before staring at me wide-eyed.
"I-I'm so sorry Storm! I d-didn't mean to scare y-you." I immediately put her into a hug, slowly stroking her mane. I hushed her, gave several apologies, and made sure that she was in tip-top condition.
"Any reason you decided to pop in?" I asked with a small chuckle.
She looked up at me with a soft smile. "I was wondering why you were up in your room rather than in the hall with us."
"I was trying to get some meditation in before I had to train the Guard tommorow."
"Wait, you're going to start their training tommorow?" She asked surprised.
"I don't see why not. It'll give me something to do, and I want to see if these Guards are any good at any combat."
She simply nodded at this and stood up alongside me. A moment later, the same servant returned with my soup and some bread. He gave a warm smile and set it down on an adjacent table before giving a curt bow. Without uttering a single word, he turned and walked out the door.
"Such a conversationalist." I muttered. Lyra chuckled at this.
"Well I better get back before the others start to worry too much." Lyra stated as she made her way slowly towards the door. "Eat and get some sleep Storm, you're going to need it I bet."
"I have no doubt about that." I replied, giving a small wave as she disembarked and left me to my dinner. It was quite good to say the least, although they could have added some more spices to it. Perhaps some saffron... if they even have it. After devouring the entire thing, I set it aside and went to bed.
'So help me, I'm getting sleep one way or another.'

The Next Day
--------------------------
Thankfully no more nightmares or anything of the sort. I awoke to light slowly shimmering in through the windows, its soft rays showering my body in warmth.
...And it was irritating the hell outta me.
With a short groan, I forced myself to sit up. Taking a casual glance at my HUD clock, I dismissed the bloody thing from my view and started to rise.
POUF!
THWACK!
THWACK!
THWACK!
As the front door slammed open, my reflexes forced myself to launch a trio of throwing knives into the door. The one who kicked down the door was Cpt. Star Blazer, and he looked ready to piss himself. One knife flanked each side of his neck by a half inch, while the third took residence directly above the cranium.
He gave a short cough and was attempting to reclaim his voice. I gave an irritated groan and levitated the knives back to me, before I slipped them into their respective slots on my right shoulder.
"The Royal Sisters are awaiting you in the Dining Hall, Storm." He basically spat my name as he begun to turn and walk away.
"Thank you Star!" I shouted after him. When I got no response, I sighed and went out onto the balcony. Hills, forests, and plains were basking in the warm morning sun. I could see some more nobles walking about, some talking to fancy vendors, others going to most likely their jobs.
I smiled at the beauty and serenity of this world. Like it should never ever be tainted by anything. It was an honest-to-God utopia, and it certainly was a more enjoyable stay than several previous planets. And those were just simply horrid experiences in my life.
Walking back into my room, I grabbed some parchment, an ink well, and a quill. Putting the quill in my ear like a pencil, I grabbed a large flat peice of wood and turned it into a makeshift clipboard. A quick trip to the latrines and some brushing of my teeth made me look more presentable.
Satisfied with my supplies and current cleanliness, I asked a servant for directions and went on my merry way to the Dining Hall.
----------------------
Waltzing into the Dining Hall and grabbing some fruit, I noticed Celestia and Luna sitting side-by-side. Suddenly a thought occured to me.
'I have a pet name for Celestia... but not one for Luna. Hmm.....'
"Perhaps since her previous history and whatnot, you should call her 'Lunatic'?"
'That is so cheesy... I'LL DO IT!'
"Ello Cel. Hey Lunatic." Celestia gave me a short annoyed scowl while Luna's face was marked with confusion.
''Good morning to you too, but what do you mean by Luna-tic?'' She said, slightly tilting her head to the side.
''That's just what we called a certain group of special people where I came from...'' I replied nonchalantly. Her confusion seemed to increase, along with her curiousity.
''Oh? Please, if you would be so kind and elaborate.''
''They could see and hear what others could not...''
''So, they had special powers then?'' She asked with a curved brow.
''You could say that.... or that they just were our crazy ones!'' I gave my best 'trollface' and watched as Luna's face turned into annoyance, while Celestia suddenly busted out laughing. Tears were literally streaming down her face and soon Luna joined in on it.
"All joking aside for now, I wish to begin training the Guard in a few hours." They both stopped laughing shortly after and calmed down to a degree.
"Of course." Celestia said. "May we ask you a question though?"
I gave them a side-ways look. "Sure..."
"Were you ever chased in a tundra while having metal shot at you?" Luna asked suddenly. My eyes widened slightly and I felt my hands slowly hardening into fists.
"How do you know..." I asked barely above a whisper.
"We both experienced a relapse of this event last night." Celestia began. "Many things were heavily distorted, and it cut off when the view was surrounded... What happened to you?" She asked with concern. I just gave a hollow laugh.
"I'm not entirely sure... it feels like a memory, yet I don't recall it happening." I straightened my body and looked back at them directly. "I guess sixteen million years of life will do that to you."
They nodded and sent some pages out to round up the Guard. Hopefully this works out well, and they can actually stand a chance when they protect something worth fighting for after these training segments.
-------------------------
I stood in front of around one thousand Guards, eyeing each member of the front row. They had a degree of discipline, and stood at attention for a good while before I yelled loudly enough for the rear row to hear me.
"Attention! All men at ease." I could visibly see their once stiff limbs loosen and relax. "Today, I'm going to specifically show you weaponry and fighting techniques from my planet. They are old fashion; but they will suffice. All Lieutenants are in charge of a division. The first session involves CQC, or Close Quarter Combat."
I watched them divided into their divisions. Ten of them, a hundred in each. Three sparring circles were set up in each of their spaces, and I began instruction. They caught on fairly quickly, and soon they were performing it with ease. Of course many styles had to be altered to work with the pony anatomy, but it was still very effective.
"Since all you maggots seem to know how to do that, who's got enough.... 'testicular fortitude' to fight me?" Several hoofs shot up and stepped forward, one belonging to Capt. Star Blazer. I chuckled at this and set up my own sparring ring, double the size.
I let them come at me at any number, but in the end, millienias of experience drove their skulls into the ground and sometimes each other. When Capt. Star came up all alone, I decided to actually fight instead of letting them go easy. He took a simple stance and came at me.
Big mistake for him.
I didn't even move my front leg. I simply planted it, spun around, and drove my heel right into the front of his muzzle. He stumbled back, giving me an opening to unleash a flurry of strikes of all kinds unto him. He didn't last more than twenty seconds, which was pretty decent to say the least.
"Next up, we're going to be working with blades. Particulary, the Sword. I pre-crafted some, so take one and await for further instruction." Okay so technically I didn't actually craft them... I kinda just reconstructed air particles into steel and whatnot until I had around four-hundred swords.
Yeah, I can make things out of simple air particles. The Editor is so overpowered sometimes it's not even funny. A rather funny thing happened where one division was having difficulty trying to learn swordplay, so the Lieutenant approached me and spoke in a slight Middle-Eastern accent.
"Storm, it seems my students do not fully understand what it is to wield a blade... perhaps you could show them what you know?"
Half of me wanted to laugh, a quarter wanted me to punch him, but the final quarter said to show no emotion and assist them anyways.
I hadn't even realized the Sisters or the Mane Seven were watching the entire training segment until I looked up and saw them on the balcony of the Throne Room. I gave a wave, which they returned. Well we had a few more hours, might as well milk this training further.
-----------------------
It's been about two more hours, and they have evolved alot. They still need to learn much, but they have parted with knowledge this time around. I gave them several tips about pressure points, fighting styles, and tag-team attacks. Their sparring was good, but they'll need much work if they want to make use of these new combat moves.
The others had came down, and watched much more closely at how I guided the warrior's movements, helped treat some minor wounds (The old fashioned way on top of that), and a few other things. They seemed particularly interested at the fact that I was working on physical for all pony species, rather than just Earth ponies.
"They'll need some strength muscle-wise if they want to survive to protect what they love." I said as I made a squad of Unicorns use some short swords with only their mouths. "Either way, I think we're about done."
I lined them all up and began speaking in my usual commanding tone. "You all did good today. Practice what you were shown today, and be ready to work on it in a few days once more. GUARD DISSSSMISSED!"
They all gave a simultaneous salute with their forehoofs. "SIR YES SIR!" Their thousand voices bounced off the walls of the courtyard and was redirected right into my eardrum. However I noticed a carriage slowly start to descend to the courtyard, and it looked like it belonged to the Sisters.
"The hell is that?" I said while motioning my head towards the chariot. Celestia eyes widened slightly and she gave an annoyed sigh.
"That is Blueblood... this won't end well."
I simply gave a hearty laugh and began to crack my knuckles. "Don't worry, I'm such nothing bad will happen." The chariot touched down with ease, gently gliding to a stop not far from me. One of the riders unlatched himself and magicked the door open, revealing a posh white-coated Unicorn. His nose was pointed straight up into the air, and his eyes were closed.
'The common facial expression of the snobby.' I mused to myself as he approached.
He focused his attention on Celestia rather than me and began speaking in a way that made me want to bash his skull open with his own hoofs. "That was simply horrid."
He gave an exasperated sigh. "They thought that it would be alright to forget to have my wardrobe installed into their suite, saying that 'I would only be there a week, you don't need to have so many clothes.'" His voiced turned into an irritating whine. "I demand that they are thrown into the dungeon for treating royalty with such disrespect."
'Is this guy for real?' I thought as his gaze finally met mine.
"What is this? Some shaved Diamond Dog? No matter I suppose. You, thing, take my luggage to my suite." He put his hoofs together in a 'chop-chop' manner.
"I beg your pardon?" I asked with an irritated brow. He looked at me in shock.
"This thing can speak?" He then decided to speak to me in a mocking tone. "I'm surprised it can even understand language."
I felt my fist began to ball up, but I tried to retain my cool. "I am far more intelligent than I appear, Blueblood. The name's Storm." I held out a hand which he slapped away.
"Don't try to touch me, you dirty beast." He shrieked. "Aunt Celestia, throw this Storm into the dungeon."
Celestia simply looked over at me and gave me a short nod. I nodded back and let her take care of it.
"That will be hard to do, considering that he's the new king." Blueblood froze up, and look at me almost disbelievingly.
"Oh yes, that would be me." I gave a twisted smile as I flicked out my left hidden blade. "And you just insulted the wrong 'beast', you little brat."
He fainted. Right there on the spot. Just collapsed, completely and utterly. I chuckled and redrew the blade, but not before a splitting headache began to kick in. I placed one of my hands on my head, trying to steady my thinking.
"Oi, the hell...?" The others looked over at me with surprise. "My brain feels like it's being punched...repeatedly."
"Are you okay?" Twilight asked. I felt myself shaking all of a sudden, darkness flickering around my vision.
'Ed, the hell is happening to me?!'
"I DON'T KNOW. Just stay with me dammit."
'Ed... the....hell.'
"Storm? STORM!? STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORM!?!"

[Author's Notes: This chapter has several degrees of win in my opinion. Can you spot the two video game references? How about which realities I hinted at?
No? Okay then.
Also, troll ending is best ending afterall. And I was considering adding a teaser bit for who I'm doing a crossover with.... oh well.]
