~Twilight's libary/1week after coronation/ Twi's POV~
It's been a week and i still am having problems with these wings! I struggle to get confortable but my wings keep getting in the way.
"Need help Twilight?" I heard and turned to see Spike getting up.
"Yes please Spike." I asked and he tucked my wings and the blanket and then looked at his work.
"Will that work?" he asked as i started to drift off.
"Yeah Thanks Spike...Good night." I replied as I fell asleep.
~Author POV~
The next morning Twilight woke and streached and got up. She walked over to the vanity and brushed her purple mane and tail. Once she was done she walked down stairs and towards the kitchen.
"Good morning Spike." she greeted with a smile as Spike turned from the food he was preparing.
"Morning Twilight! Breakfast should be done soon" The green and purple dragon replied and turned to his work. Twilight left and sat st her desk and pulled out a book an started reading. after a few min. Spike came out and gave Twilight her food she nodded her thanks and started to eat. she was about to speak when Spike flamed a messaged.
"I wonder what King Solaris needs?" Twilight said aloud and read the note with a confused face.
"What's it say Twilight?"
"I am need at Canterlot for a...Contract? I guess i better be going. Spike will you be ok alone?"
"No problem. if i need anything i can ask the others." with that she walked out the door and headed to the train. 'I wonder what this Contract thing is.' She thought as she bought her ticket and got on the train.
~Canterlot castle meeting room 1 hour later~
Twilight opens the door and sees King Solaris, Prince Artemis, Prince Crescendo, and the former King Sombra. She walked in and sat at the open spot near Sombra.
"What's this all about?" she asked and saw everypony looking at one another.
"Twilight as you know you are a female and now an Alicorn but you are THE only Alicorn mare. So I looked into it and found the last female Alicorn died because her magic became unstable after 2 years of becoming an Alicorn. I found the reason to this is because she was unmated. We have all come to inform you of this and of this." He lifted a paper with his magic and gave it to her to read. Her eyes grew wide as she read it. She would have to wed in 2 years or she would die because of magic overload.
"But... I have never felt that kind of love for ANYPONY...How do I do this?" She said shaking and felt a hoof on her sholder and saw it was Sombra's. He has changed a lot since his reformation. His eyes instead of frightening red were blue-green and had dark blue streaks in his mane and tail and wore a blue cape instead of read with his crown a darker blue then his streaks.
"That what we are here for. Solaris will send an anousment informing someponies of this an we along with them will court you until you fall in love with one of us." Sombra answered.
"Yes and there will be no rush. You will love when your ready." Crescendo said as he walked over and hugged her. Her sister Glimmer Shield had passed away a month ago to a magic illness. She dried her tears and signed the paper.
"...Can i go home for now?" She asked and they all nodded.
"You can do anything you want we will take turns to take you out or just hangout. Go home and rest." Solaris replied and she got up and left. Artemis sighed.
"Poor Twilight I hope this is over quickly for her sake." Artemis said and the others nodded wondering how the letters were doing.
~Cloudsdale~
Two pegasi read a letter from the king. The rainbow maned and the blue maned pony started packing.
~Unknown~
A chaos bringer read a letter and smiled.
"Interesting!"
~Roads of Equestria~
A Pink maned pony made his way to Ponyville to see his cousin, but now had another reason as he put the note in his bags.
~Ponyville the next day~
Twilight had told Spike and her friends about the meeting and asked if they would help.
"Of course Twilight darling we would help." Rarity answered the others saying around the same things.
"We wouldn't leave ya hanging." Rainbow Dash said as she flew around.
"Twi we'll help any friend!" Apple Jack said as she hugged Twilight.
"I don't know how i can help but I'll try." Fluttershy said as she put her head down.
"Silly of Course you can count me in!" Pinkie Pie laughed.
"Of course, I AM your number 1 assistant after all." Spike finished as the door bell rang.
"I wonder who that could be."Twilight said and walked to the door. When the door opened she saw...A male Pinkie? "Pinkie Pie do you have any family members that look like you?" She asked staring at the bouncing male. Pinkie came around and gasped.then jumped the male cope.
"Bubble Barry?! OH it's so great to see you again!" She said and the they both got a gleam in their eyes. "You thinking what I'm thinking?"
"A welcome Party?" Berry replied with a grin and the two raced off leaving Twilight and the others.
"What just happened?" Twilight asked aloud and got shrugs. "I think I am afraid for Ponyville if this Bubble Berry is like pinkie." she shivered as the others agreed.
