Man what a night that was. Not only was the party awesome, but I got to party with Celestia. It was Cadence's birthday yesterday. Everyone was there, even Princess Luna. And everyone knows that birthday parties are always fun, but it's the after party that's always the best. After the actual birthday, Cadence went and spent some time with Shining Armor for a few hours while everypony set things up for the after party.
Now the first party was of Canterlot standards, this one was of Pinkie Pie standards. And since it was Pinkie throwing the party, things were crazy. Everyone had a good time and it sure lasted for a while. Like I said before, I got to party with Celestia which made me very happy. Though there wasn't too much we could have done since no one knows about us. But nevertheless, it was a blast.
Today marks the 6th month Celestia and I have been together, and boy has it been an amazing 6 months. I am as happy as I could ever be and the same goes for Celestia. But whenever there is something good going on, there is always something off the beaten path. Though this isn't as bad as you would think, but in my case it was. It was Twilight.
Twilight has become... more daring in showing her feelings towards me, but it was never to the point where I had to just out right push her actions away. Of course there is always the down side to not doing anything about such actions that when it does actually happen, some things that you do can turn you into an asshole. I've been thinking of telling Celestia about it but I wasn't sure how to. But I think I should say something before it's too late.
Now, since the party has lasted into the night and everypony was doin' their own thing, I was able to go back to Celestia's room to spend the night with her. But I didn't really get to sleep that much since I had to go back to my room within hours of the party.
“I'm telling you, Vinyl's music is getting awesomer and awesomer every time she plays at a party.” I said to Celestia, laying in the bed with her.
“I would have to agree with you, Tyler. Her music sure is the best.” She giggled as she nuzzled her head into my neck. I let out a soft sigh and turn my head to her.
“Celestia, there's something I need to talk to you about. I should have said something before but I didn't know how to tell you.” I said, pausing for a second as she looked up at me. “It's about Twilight...”
Celestia had a worried look on her face she pulled back from me and sighed. “So you're the one she's been telling me about...” And like a bullet to the head, I sat there speechless. Twilight has been talking to Celestia about 'somepony' that she had feelings for but felt that she couldn't bring herself to tell him. What a cluster-fuck.
“What do you mean I'm the one?” I said with a confused tone, acting like I hadn't already known what she meant.
“Twilight has... been telling me about somepony that she has started liking... a lot. She hadn't really gone into detail about it because she was nervous about saying who it was, as if it would be bad to like him... I now know why...” She sighed once again, getting up off the bed. “Have you... done anything with her...?” She looked back at me, with a worried face.
“No of course not... I wouldn't do that to you Celestia... I love you too much to hurt you...” I said, feeling slightly hurt that she would even think I would have. She let out a sigh of relief when I told her that.
“Oh good... That puts me at ease somewhat... She's told me that she has been trying to 'make a move' on you but is still too shy... Why haven't you told me about this or tried to put a stop to her liking you?” This was a question I was hoping that she wouldn't ask.
“I didn't know how to... I mean if I did I would of had to tell her about... Well...” I paused for a second. “I didn't want to tell her about us... And I couldn't just out right break her heart... It would have killed me inside.”
“I see... Well you can't just keep leading her on, Tyler...” Celestia said to me, looking down at her hooves trying to think. Then she looked up at me. “You know... I've been thinking about how our relationship is secret from everyone... Maybe it's time we tell ponies.”
I looked over at her, thinking about it for a second. “I've kinda had that thought on my mind but I wasn't really sure about it... I guess we'll kinda have to now since we've gotta tell Twilight about us.”
Celestia nodded in agreement. “Hopefully she won't go and tell anypony about it... If anyone would be the first to know about... us... it would by my sister since I trust her with my life.” She explained. But I agreed with her. “Now... there's just the factor of Twilight keeping quiet about it til more people know about it...”
“I doubt she will... Look, what's the worst that can happen? People become shocked that you're dating a human?” I said to her, realizing that I could very much regret saying that.
“I guess you're right, Tyler.” She said smiling and walked over to me, wrapping her hooves around me. “So, we'll tell her tomorrow?”
“Yes. But...” I paused for a second.
“But...?”
“What about the letters she's been writing to you? Are we going to tell her that we know and it's why we're telling her first?” I said looking at her, resting my head against hers.
“I suppose so... She would wonder why we would tell her first.” She said looking up into my eyes and giving me a slight smile.
This was surely going to be an interesting thing come tomorrow. I just hope it goes well.
