Fang was walking down the hall a bit as he soon began to hear giggling, he turned around to find nothing as he then turned back to see someone standing there, before he could even speak she giggled and left down the second hall as Fang was then confused as he then began to follow the girl as he looked and saw that it was a dead end. Fang then saw something on the ground, it was a teddy bear that Fang knew too well, it was the same one that Fang had won for Junebug at the fair two years ago. Fang then began to back away as he then heard another voice “Come on son, let's go play a game of catch.” The voice said as Fang turned around to see his father but in worse condition that he looked like he walked out of his crash as Fang then backed up to but soon stopped as someone then wrapped their arms around giving him a hug as the person spoke “My, my you have grown so much.” A second voice had said as Fang looked up to see his mother, she was skinny and could see her bones. Fang was becoming more scared as he heard the giggling again, he then turned to his left and saw….. Junebug, she looked completely bloody and bruised and was cut up in multiple places as she walked forward with a soft smile on her face.
Fang walked backwards and almost fell as tears were running down his face as he began to speak “No, no go away please. It's all my fault, i'm sorry.” Fang said as the three just smiled a bit and spoke “It's not your fault.” The three said at once as Fang spoke again “It is my fault!” Fang yelled as the three spoke again “It's not your fault.” The three said in a calm tone as Fang screamed “IT IS MY FAULT!” Fang screamed.
Reality….
“IT IS MY FAULT!” Fang screamed as he awoken in his bed as sweat and tears were running down his face as he put his hands in his face and spoke “The dreams will just keep coming back, everyday….. It's all my fault.” Fang said as he rose from his bed as anger began to cloud his mind “It's is all my fault!” Fang yelled as he punched the wall and left a hole in it. Fang then retracted his hand and sighed grabbing his cellphone and dialing a number “Yes Mr.Rich…. yes I put another hole in the wall…. again….. alright thank you sir, you can take it out of my deposit….. again sorry sir.” Fang said as he then hung up the phone and went to get ready for the school day. Soon enough Fang walked out of his bedroom and into his living room, not far from where he was standing he spotted his family portrait, the whole family was smiling, him, his brother, his mother, his father and Junebug. Fang tried to push the memories deep down but they kept resurfacing as tears began to build in his eyes as he quickly wiped them away as he then moved quickly back to the front door forgetting his breakfast.
Fang locked the door and walked down the stairs from the floor he lived on and moved towards the front door of the building and walked out of the door quickly towards his car. He opened the car door and sat in it quickly shutting the car door but slamming his finger in the door by accident as he then suppressed his scream of pain and started the car driving to the school. Fang soon reached the school as his hand began to feel a bit better though his thoughts were still looming over his dream, he knew it was his fault. His mother gave up because of him, his father never got home because of him, Junebug was killed because he knew he should have seen that bus coming, but no these were his demons he was facing and had to live with for the rest of his life. Sometimes he felt like ending his life just to stop his pain but he knew that would not stop it either, he had tried many things for it all to stop even heavier dosages of sleeping pills for him to sleep more at night, but nothing ever worked. Fang then got out of his car as he began to walk up the steps as the door swung open smacking him in the face, knocking him backwards and back down the concrete stairs as Lyra walked out “Oh Fang i'm very sorry, are you okay?” Lyra asked as Fang got up and dusted himself off.
“Yeah i'm fine Lyra, i've dealt with worse believe me.” Fang said getting up from the ground and pushed past Lyra walking towards his next class. The day was going not bad, it was almost third hour for Fang as he soon left his second hour and walked up the stairs to his third hour on the second floor of the school for it was his economics class, he soon found his seat and sat down waiting for class to begin. Around ten minutes later the class was beginning as the teacher brought something up that made Fang`s heart drop like a fifty pound weight out of a tenth story window and on to the pavement as the teacher began to talk about family. “Alright everyone today we will be talking about family or more about the older generation such as grandparents and parents but as well we will be having a family meet and greet tomorrow for the whole school, so please bring your parents.” The teacher said as Fang became remorseful as he then raised his hand and spoke “Uh…. my parents can't come….” Fang said as the teacher was confused as she spoke “Well they have to come.” She said as Fang shook his head “I mean they can not come at all.” Fang said as Gaige spoke “What that is stupid, your parents need to come for that it's part of a school project dont you care about your grades?” Gaige asked as Fang shook his head and spoke “Please just drop it.” Fang said as Gaige pushed on.
“No i'm not going to drop it, they need to come for that it is required.” Gaige said as Fang spoke more sternly “Drop it.” Fang said as Gaige continued “You should not be embarrassed by your parents, I bet they are cool and great people.” Gaige said as Fang spoke even more stern as anger was seeping through “I said drop it!” Fang began to yell as Gaige spoke on “Family is the most important to have and if you don't understand it's your loss because you should be happy for your fam-” Gaige was cut off as Fang got up and screamed “SHUT UP!” Fang screamed as he picked up his desk and threw it at the window as the glass shattered everywhere as Fang was breathing heavily as he spoke “JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!” Fang screamed as he spoke again “You want to know why they can't come huh?” Fang asked the class as he spoke again “Their dead, yeah my parents are fucking dead! It's my fault they died, my mom stopped fighting her disease and I should have been their when my dad`s car got hit by a semi. And I should of been there when my girlfriend got hit by a bus and what happen? I almost killed the bus driver and myself on the same day, I mean look at this.” Fang said as he began to wipe his neck revealing his scar to the class as they all gasped in horror as he spoke again “Now you know why, so shut the hell up and leave me the fuck alone!” Fang growled with anger at the class as Vice Principal Luna had walked in as she spoke “Um…. Tiberious, I think we should get you to a councillor.” Luna suggested as Fang lowered his head and nodded averting his gaze from everyone as he then walked out of the room.
The class was frightened by this as Gaige called Treble “Treble something insane happened.” Gaige said to Treble as he asked “What happened? Wait never mind I see someone had a melt down upstairs, cause I see a desk in the back of the school.” Treble said to Gaige as she spoke “Yes, it was Fang he just lost it when we started talking about our parents.” Gaige said as Treble went silent as he calmly asked “What exactly happened?” Treble asked calmly out of his normal demeanor and upbeat self as Gaige spoke “I was telling him how important this project is and he kept telling me to stop, until he lost it and threw his desk at the window and started yelling at us and told us his parents died and something about his girlfriend dying and almost killing the guy who did it and trying to end his own life on the same day.” Gaige recapped as Treble went silent again as he spoke again “You should have not done that Gaige, but it will be fine I will tell everyone you just try to keep the class calm.” Treble said as he then hung up the phone and spoke to himself “The group ain't going to like this.” Treble had said to himself as he put the phone back into his pocket and began to look for the group.
Luna brought Fang to the parking lot and opened the car door for him, Fang then thank her as he got in and buckled up but was completely silent as Luna got in the car as she started it and turned on the radio and asked “Is this a fine radio station or should I change it?” Luna asked as Fang stayed silent but shook his head. Luna was worried for that one of her students was like this as a song began to play on the radio as she began to tap her steering wheel as she spoke “My daughter Cynder loves this song.” Luna said with a smile as Fang nodded looking out the window as he did not speak at all as Luna began to worry even more until Fang finally spoke “You would not believe your eyes, If ten million fireflies Lit up the world as I fell asleep. 'Cause they'd fill the open air and leave teardrops everywhere you'd think me rude But I would just stand and stare.” Fang sang a bit as he let out a sigh and spoke “Junebug used to play that all the time in the car, she…. had a connection to it, you know?” Fang asked Luna as she nodded as she then became sorrow filled and asked “Why did you have a meltdown like that earlier?” Luna asked with concern filling her words as he sighed and spoke “Because Gaige kept pushing the issue, don't get me wrong she is a sweet person but…. I don't like talking about my past it…… just fills me with Rage.” Fang said as a bit of anger seeped through his words as Luna then tried to calm him down “Well it's okay, we will make sure she does not do it again. However we think it is best that you attend a counselor or a therapist to help you out in this situation.” Luna said as Fang let out a sigh and nodded in agreement.
Back With The Group…
Treble had gathered up the group as Mise asked Treble “What the hell is the problem Treble?” Mise asked as he breathed a sigh and spoke in a calm tone completely different from his original demeanor “It's about Fang guys…. he had a major meltdown in class today.” Treble said surprising the group as Gaige spoke up “It's true, I should of not provoked him like that.” Gaige said as Artemis spoke “It's okay Gaige, you did not know. Hell none of knew he could snap like that quickly.” Artemis said as the group agreed as Gaige spoke “Well as far as I could tell Vice Principal Luna is taking him to a councillor or a therapist to help him with his anger.” Gaige said as the group became a bit worried for both the therapist and Luna as Mise asked “Which one?” Mise asked as Gaige said “I think it's the one on third.” Gaige said trying to remember as Mise groaned in anger “That guy is a complete sham, he is only going to bleed Fang of his money, I think we should go get him before he kills the guy.” Mise said as the group agreed as they ran towards his tank as some piled in as the rest were sitting on the top of the tank as Mise began to drive from the school and towards the street as he asked through the open hatch “You guys see anything yet?” Mise asked as the ones on top said nothing until they heard a few crashes coming from a building as they then saw a man flying through the air screaming. “I think we found Fang, Mise.” Artemis said on top of the tank.
Some Time Prior….
Luna had just brought Fang into the doctor's office as she then knocked on the door as a voice spoke up “Come on in.” The voice said as Luna then opened the door to reveal a man in a normal suit and had a bit of tan skin and light brown hair as he spoke “Ah miss Luna you have come with one of your students correct?” The doctor asked as she nodded and said “Here he is Doctor Cerebrum.” Luna said as she brought in Fang as she said “I will make sure to have one of your friends pick you up when you're done okay?” Luna asked as Fang nodded and walked in as she shut the door behind her. Fang looked at the doctor as he motioned to the chair as he then spoke “Now Mr. Silverfang I want you to start from the beginning where it all started.” Doctor Cerebrum said as Fang nodded and told him everything from the beginning.
A Few Minutes Later…
Doctor Cerebrum was at a loss for words as he then got up and said “I need to take a quick phone call, I will be right back.” Doctor Cerebrum said to Fang as he left through the door and began to make a phone call. Fang was sitting in the doctor's office as he was waiting for him to return after he told the situation as Fang then got curious and looked around the room a bit as something caught his eye. Fang then walked over to the doctor's degree and saw that the glass was missing as he grabbed the degree and flipped it to the back and found it was printed on a chinese take out menu. Fang was confused until something clicked from the questions, to the fake degree this man was a fraud as it made Fang`s blood boil as he walked towards the door and heard him talking on the phone “Yeah this dumb kid thinks I can help his sorry ass, yeah right like I could help him. Could not save that Crystal Prep kid and I can't help him, at least he did not try to stab me that is a plus, the good news is I will finally pay off the boat.” Doctor Cerebrum said on the other side of the door as Fang opened it as he spoke in a low tone “Better add doctor's bills to that total.” Fang said in a low tone as he grabbed the man by the collar of his shirt and threw him head first into the crystal glasses and crystal alcohol holder.
The man tried to get up as Fang then kicked him in the gut and grabbed him by his tie and dragged him up the stairs towards the roof making sure that his head hit each step on the way. Fang soon dragged the man roof as he let him get up and try to put up a fight as he tried to punch Fang but he was too quick and planted a quick haymaker to his jaw but still stood his ground as he kept up his attack until Fang kicked knee in making him fall as Fang then grabbed his leg and stomped his leg on the side breaking the two bones in the process making the man howl in pain. Fang thought for a minute of breaking more of his bones but soon stopped as he then grabbed him by his collar and the back of his shirt as he made way towards the edge of the room and threw the man across the street “AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!” The man screamed as Fang threw him off the roof of the two story building as he began to grown in pain “My leg, my leg.” He said as Fang spoke “Just be happy I did not break anything else asshole!” Fang yelled at the man and walked towards the stairs to get back to street level. Soon enough Fang walked out the front door of the building as he saw his friends riding up on Mise`s tank as he just waved a small wave at the friends and spoke “Can you guys take me back to the school please?” Fang asked the group avoiding their gaze as some of the group helped him up on to the tank as he stood on the top as Mise drove the group back to the school.
As the group made it back to the school Fang got off the tank as he kept his gaze away from everyone as he walked into the school, the group was concerned for him as they followed after him as he sat at a table alone from the group as Mise walked up and said “Mise…. just please go….. I can't control my anger man I….. i'm just afraid I will snap and hurt you guys.” Fang said in a low, sad tone as Mise said “Well that is why I came for you man, we found a few friends of the group that can help you man.” Mise said as he placed his hand on Fang's shoulder as he spoke again “If your wondering its Shard and the new kid Roden, and they said they could help you man.” Mise said as Fang thought for a minute but soon agreed by nodding his head and kept his gaze away from everyone as he followed Mise as the two stopped in front of Shard, Ditzy and the new kid known as Roden, he had short green hair, emerald colored eyes, tan skin. He was wearing a green hoodie with jeans and a pair of black shoes and a green scarf with grey stripes which covered the bottom half of his face. The three waved at the two as Mise waved back as Fang had pulled his hood over his head to avoid their gaze.
Roden noticed Fangs behaviour and studied his body language before nodding and writing something down on a small notepad. Roden tapped Shards shoulder and showed him what was written, receiving a small nod from the orange haired teen. Shard kissed Ditzy on the cheek and told her that he would see her later that evening before she smiled and walked away, leaving the four boys to their business. “So, you're Tiberious Silverfang huh? Nice to meet you, I'm Shard Storm.” Shard greeted as he shook the reluctant Fangs hand. “My friend here is Roden Godswell.” Roden held out his hand and shook Fangs with a silent nod. “Don't worry, he's not the silent type or anything, he's just deep in thought right now.”
Fang just nodded. “Well, it's nice to meet you both. Mise said that you two could...help me out with my anger, is that true?” He asked with hope in his voice.
Shard nodded and placed a hand on Fang's shoulder. “It's true. We'll help you out bud. I will be helping you control your anger and be teaching you ways to express it that don't involve violence.” Shard then turned to Roden. “Roden will be helping you to let go of the past.”
“I doubt that.” Fang muttered with annoyance.
“You shouldn't doubt it Tiberious.” Roden finally spoke, earning Fangs attention. “I have helped many people in my life to let go of even the darkest of past lives. I happen to be a licensed therapist, here are my qualifications.” Roden reached into his backpack and pulled out some forms, handing them to Fang who looked them over, finding they were legitimate papers. “I understand that you've recently come across a man who happened to be a fraud, and I'll admit that seeing him fly through the air was quite amusing.” Roden chuckled slightly before looking back to Fang. “I managed to stop that man from pressing charges of physical assault and have taken care of the legal forms regarding the property damage so you will not have to worry about any of the authorities showing up at your door.”
Fang just looked to Roden wide eyed, shocked at what he was hearing. “What?”
“Roden has a lot of experience with this sort of thing, he's able to find even the smallest loopholes in the legal system. How do you think we all get away with the random shenanigans we all get into with all the laws we break?” Mise asked. “These are the right guys for this Fang, go with them and I promise you you'll be a better person by the end of this.”
Fang looked from Mise to the two teens that were willing to help him through his negativity and violent outbursts.
“I'll just leave him with you two.” Mise said and then bumped fists with Shard. “Bring him back to us in one piece bro.”
“I will bro, just you get back to your business.”
Fang looked to the two confused. “Shard and Mise are adoptive brothers.” Roden explained as he stood beside Fang. “They both helped each other let go of their own pasts and have done quite a bit for each other, eventually they had this little ritual involving a bottle of Japanese alcohol that made them brothers.”
“Alright, let's get this show on the road.” Shard stated as he motioned Roden and Fang to follow him out of the school.
“Aunt Celestia gave us permission to take you off the school grounds for the next few days while we help you.” Roden said as the three walked out the front doors, exiting the building and walking out into the warm weather. The sky seemed to be void of clouds, leaving a beautiful blue sky for the sun to shine brightly down on Canterlot City.
As Shard and Roden walked they noticed that Fang was just trailing behind them with his head down. “Damn...it looks really bad.” Shard said quietly, heard by Roden but not Fang.
“I know, but if we succeed we will be able to prevent him from entering these moods again.” Roden responded.
“Hey Roden, can I ask you something?” Shard asked quietly. “Why did we agree to this? I'm all for helping someone out and all but it doesn't really seem like it's our place to do this. I'm still gonna do this with a goddamn smile but I just want to know.”
“Aside from PyraFlare wanting to help out one of the other authors with their story, we agreed to do this because of what we've both gone through and we know the kind of guilt that he's feeling right now.” Roden explained.
Soon enough Fang stopped as Roden and Shard walked on a bit as he looked up towards the sky and let out a sigh remembering something “It's just like those days….” Fang said as he trailed off a bit as a few tears escaped his eyes. Both Roden and Shard stopped to see Fang staring into the sky and was wiping away his tears as he spoke “Sorry I was just thinking.” Fang said as he pulled his hood forward a bit more avoiding their gaze. As the three then began to walk towards the city of Canterlot as Fang kept his gaze from everyone, but both Shard and Roden knew that they were going to fix it.
