As the twilight settled into dusk Applejack, her younger sister; Applebloom and their friend Scootaloo Walked out of the ponyville movie hall where they had gone to see; "Invasion of the pony Snatchers!"
"That sure was some movie!" Applebloom exclaimed.
"You bet it was! I loved the part where the squids from mars ate the filly's brains!" Scootaloo replied.
"Yeah but how did they make it look so real?" She wondered aloud.
"Movie magic I think." her friend suggested as they walked toward the edge of town.
"I guess so." she replied, Applejack suddenly jumped into the conversation:
"Now you girls do know those where only ponies dressed as mars squids. There's not really such things as pony snatchers." she said.
"We kno.." Applebloom tried to say that they knew that only to have applejack's comment repeated two more times.
"I think she's scared..." Scootaloo whispered to Applebloom, her friend nodded as her sister jumped at the sound of a twig snapping. As Applebloom was walking along she bumped into a trash can by mistake knocking it over with a loud crashing noise.
At the sound of the crash Applejack leaped into the air screaming. "It's the pony snatchers!!!!!" She hit the ground running, all the way back to Apple Acres.
Scootaloo and AppleBloom roared with laughter as she rushed off. "And she thought that we where scared!" Scootaloo cried as the two friends laughed. They then found themselves looking up at the sky.
"Look! It's a shooting star!" Applebloom said pointing at the white streak of light.
"Wow!" Scootaloo said, "Let's make a wish!" The two ponies closed their eyes and dreamed of what they most wished for in all the world.

Meanwhile at the Ponyville space observatory. Two ponies sat, one complaining and the other stuttering.
One of them, he had orange skin and a green mane, was the one grumbling. "I'm bored Jelly, B O R E D bored, why did we wanna work at the Ponyville science lad? 'Cause we wanted to see space aliens! And what have we seen in two long years huh? Nothing! N U T.. uh, you know nothing!"
" Jersey." Jelly Star, a yellow pony who also had a green mane, stuttered.
"Watch the Screen they said, watch the screen! So what do we do for two long years?! We watch the screen!!!" Jersey Star fumed.
"Uh Jersey...." He repeated a bit more panic in his voice as red light started flashing.
"And then there's the light!" Jersey continued, " 'If this light ever flashes that means something from space is about to hit Ponyville alert Princess Twilight immediately."
Jelly's tongue felt like wool as he barely whispered "Jersey." once more
"...Like that will ever happen! I'm telling you Jelly this is the most boring job in Equestria!" He walked over to Jelly and said "Maybe we could get our old jobs back at that Mr. Hay and Shake." When Jelly just sat there staring blanking at a screen and shivering Jersey knew something was wrong. "What?" He looked at the screen and began to tremble at the site of a blazing comet like object on it. He then turned to his brother and said: "Alert the Princess."

Twilight, A lavender Alicorn with a dark purple and pink stripped mane, was sleeping calmly in a pile of books. Twister, a light gray stallion with a black mane with red stripes was cured up to her sleeping calmly.
A sudden blast of green light woke them from their slumber as Spike, a purple and green baby dragon, rushed down the stairs towards them. "Twilight!"
"What's wrong spike?" She asked as she sat up.
"This letter just came from the Ponyville science lab! Jersey and Jelly have a object falling from space on their screen!"
"WHAT!? Let's get down there!" Her horn glowed and the three of them vanished only to reappear in the Lab. "Jersey! Jelly! what's wrong?" The two ponies pointed at the screen. "Oh wow......"

"Um Doc are you sure that's a good idea?" A gray crossed-eyed mare said to her light brown blue-eyed friend who was fiddling around with a strange circular control panel.
"No worrys Derpy I've done this before." He replied, his spiky mane was a dark brown color and his cutie-mark was a hourglass.
Derpy groaned, her mane was yellow and so where her eyes. "It's just that when ever I worked on my fuse box, I turned the power off before I started...." She was cut short as The Doctor cried out in agony.
"She shocked me!" He cried. "She never shocks me!"
"Here we go again..." Derpy sighed as he began to talk to air.
"C'mon Sexy you never shock me! I'm your thief did you forget that!"
"Would you stop calling her that!" Derpy growled her bubbly cutie-mark glowing with jealousy. "It's just a Tardis!"
"Oh not this again, Derpy I tol.." A sudden thud that shook the room interrupted the Doctor.
"What was that!" Derpy cried.
"I dunno, but I think we've landed somewhere."
"Did we even enter the time vortex?"
"Sometimes Sexy has a mind of her own." He replied as he opened a wooden door with a small telephone receiver box on it.
"I hate it when you call the Tardis that....." Derpy growled.
Looking outside the two found themselves on sweet apple acres, in the middle of the night no less.
"Well this is interesting, I wonder why we're here."
"Maybe Fluttershy turned back into that bat thing, Doc."
"Possible but I doubt the Tardis would think we were needed for that. Didn't the Mane Six take care of her just fine the last two times."
"Well, the second time she did get control of her bat form. so yeah, you're probably right."
"I'm always right, I'm the Doctor."
"Says the guy who just got shocked...."
"Hmmmph! That was a freak accident!"
"Suuuuuurrrreee." Derpy said as the two of them approached the Cows barn, which was built on the far side of Sweet Apple Acres. It was basically where the ponyville cows lived. "You know it sure is quiet."
The Doctor suddenly stopped, his colorful scarf flying in the breeze. "Maybe too quiet." He reached in the pocket of his black jacket and brought out a strange wand like device. It was mostly blue painted metal with gold and silver trim the end of it was like a pillar with four clear tubes that ran up to the tip . The tip and pillars glowed bright blue as a strange buzz came from the device as he active it. "A quick scan and..." He paused to think. "Derpy my sonic shows the only nearby life forms besides you and me are the cows."
"That's not good, the bats and owls should be around too."
"But they're not, that means that somepony or something scared them off."
The two ponies crept up to the barn in silence and snuck inside.
"What are we waiting for Doc?"
"I don't know. But I'm going to find out."

"Applebloom!" Applejack called from the foot of the stairs.
AppleBloom walked down the stairs. "Yes AJ?" She said, adding; "I was about to get in the bed."
"I know, but I want ya to take this jam o'r to the cow barn." She replied.
"You could'u asked befer it got dark outside." Applebloom sighed but took the saddlebag with the jam in it and headed off to the cow's barn.
All was quiet at the barn as Applebloom opened the door and walked inside. The cows were sound asleep in their stalls.
I'll just set this here and go she thought as she set the jars of jam on a small table in the corner of the barn.
Suddenly bright light lite up the barn. It was a pale artificial kind of light. Applebloom was suddenly aware that she had hidden in a nearby bale of hay. It was a good thing too for strange and horrible creatures suddenly floated though the walls.
They were mostly a dark shade of purple, their heads had no mane and in place of it was a strange projecting crown, it was striped black and purple. Their eyes where like bright headlights, their bodies where like a mares dress with the bottom glowing bright, they had strange hoof like claws that they used to pick up the cows out of their stalls. Applebloom watched as they float away through the walls with five of the cows. For a moment she just sat there, the images of the peaceful sleeping cows being taken away imbedded in her mind.
Applebloom slowly made her way towards barn door praying the strange aliens wouldn't return. As she walked out of the barn she sighed with relief and started to walk back to the apple farmhouse.
As she walked along the trees seemed to reach out to grab her and the bat's eyes seemed to follow her. Her heart began to pound and she began to run. Suddenly she screamed as she looked straight in two huge glowing emotionless eyes. She ducked and dodged blindly as she ran for her life. They where all around her reaching for her with their cow snatching claws.
She slammed into something and feel unconscious to the ground.

"Applebloom, wake up!" A voice called out. Applebloom slowly opened her eyes hoping to be in her own bed. But found herself in a strange rounded bed in a metallic room.
"Where I am?" Applebloom asked.
"Inside the Tardis." Applebloom gasped as she turned to see the Doctor and Derpy sitting next to the bed.
"Doctor am I ever glad to see you." She said, sighing with relief, "did you see those things?"
"You mean the Ghozariens yes I did. But it doesn't make sense why they're here. They normally live on planets that have no sun, or are very far away from a sun." He replied.
"At least you know what those monsters are." She said feeling a bit better, "They scared the living daylights out of me."
"Don't worry you're safe now." Derpy said reassuringly, "nothing can get into the Tardis..... Besides maybe a Dalek."
"I know we've had adventures before, remember."
Derpy nodded then left Applebloom to rest. As she entered the Doctor's laboratory he handed her a flashlight. "Here Ghozariens hate bright light."
"Thanks." Derpy said taking it, "But why I thought their eyes glowed like flashlights, why would they hate light?"
"Well..... let me put it this way: you know how your pupils grow large in dim light?"
"yeeaah?"
"That mean that the eyes are absorbing the small amount of light that's around you so you can see better."
"I think I understand, you mean that the light coming from their eyes is dim light they have absorbed?"
"Right and if their eyes take in too much they overload and boom! No more Ghozariens! Plus this also makes the area around them darker, so if you see a patch of dark that's darker then normal that means they were there."
"Neat!"
"I know these Ghozariens may be up to no good but most of them are rather friendly."
"Well let's go, Allons-y and all that!"
"Must you quote Sandshoes?"
"Sorry it's catchy."

AppleJack was sleeping soundly in her bed unaware that Applebloom wasn't in hers. The entire farm was dark and everypony was in bed.
Suddenly a loud whirring woke Applejack from her sleep. "What in tarnation is that..." She turned to see a tall blues box with a bright lamp atop it in front of her bed. The door opened and Applebloom stepped out. "Applebloom...!??! Whaaaaa........" She fainted onto her pillow.
"I think she'll be fine." Applebloom said when the Doctor and Derpy looked to see what had happened.
"Ok then bye." The Doctor said.
"Bye good luck hunting 'dem things!" She waved as the Tadris vanished. Then turned and pulled the blanket over applejack and went to bed herself.
