Twilight waited with four of her other friends in the Friendship Castle. Rainbow still had that tiny look of surprise and confusion from earlier. "I didn't know Fluttershy had a brother...! And I know, like, everything about her!" 

Applejack rolled her eyes. "Ya can't know everything about somepony! Everyone has their little secrets."

Rainbow got right in her face. "Oh yeah, well then what's your secret!?"

Pinkie's voice spoke, up sounding the sternest she could muster at her friends. Witch wasn't very much. "Dashie! The only pony allowed to know everypony's secrets is me, Celestia, and Luna!"

Everyone stared at her, to witch she replied, "What?"

Twilight groaned. "Nothing, Pinkie. Anyway, what do you think he'll look like? Not to be prejudice and all, but if he's anything like Fluttershy, he's going to be a lot like her."

Rarity scoffed. "I don't believe so, darling. She was his younger sister, so the reason she's shy might be because her brother fought all her battles for her until Flight Camp."

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah, she was always looking for someone to protect her. But I don't think he'll be TOO courageous and strong. According to Flutters, her parents were a lot like her."

They all "hmm"ed and nodded. Applejack spoke up, tapping her chin. "I don't think she told us his name though, did she?"

Pinkie shook her head. "Nope! And even I don't know her brother's name!"

They all started imagining different versions of what her brother could look like. All of them just looked like a male FLuttershy. 

They suddenly heard the front door open and close, and Fluttershy's voice slightly echoed off the crystal walls, making them able to hear her. "You're going to love them... I hope..."

They then heard a smooth, rich, and pretty handsome respond that made Rainbow's wings slightly twitch. "Relax, sis. If you love them, I'm sure I'll love them too."

They watched the doorway like hawks as they heard the pair's footsteps get closer and closer. Then, the two rounded the corner. 



They all tried to keep their composure. Fluttershy's brother did NOT look like what they expected. Twilight cleared her throat, smiled, and walked over to greet the new pony. "Hello, it's nice to meet you! My name is Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship."

He smiled, nodded, and shook her hoof. "Wonderful to meet you. Fluttershy's told me so much about you guys!"

Twilight then found herself on a curly mane as Pinkie Pie appeared from under her. "Hi there! I'm Pinkie Pie!"

She jumped off as Fluttershy's brother chuckled. "Hello, Pinkie Pie. Fluttershy's..... (How do I best put this?) Informed me about you."

Rainbow chuckled. "More like warned."

The stallion turned towards Rainbow and smiled, closing his eyes and tilting his head. Rainbow's wings quivered. "Ah, you must be Rainbow! Fluttershy talked about you so much it was like she was bragging!"

Fluttershy giggled and hid behind her mane. "Dragon...!"

We all blinked. "Dragon?" Applejack said.

'Dragon' chuckled. "Oh, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Dragon Fruit, like my Cutie Mark." 

Rarity walked over there, and flicked her hair, and gave him her bed-room eyes. Surprisingly, Dragon Fruit wasn't affected. "What is your special talent?"

He smiled. "I crossbreed different plants to make awesome new creations. My favorites were my Rosebells. It has the size and growing plan of a bluebell, yet they come in the colors of roses and it's folded like rose petals."

Rarity giggled. "That sounds romantic. You must be a real charmer."

He shrugged, seemingly unaware of the pristine unicorn's advances. "In Canterlot flower shops, they have a high demand, but I don't know if they're THAT special." He seemed to blush slightly at the end of his words.

Fluttershy got a very Pinkie-like grin. "Oh they're super special to you...!"

Dragon's blush got deeper as he whined, "Fluttershy!"

She giggled. "Fine, fine. I won't tell them."

They were all confused, but they didn't push. They invited the stallion to stay for dinner. During the meal, said that he had asked someone to come over. We smiled and assured him that we were okay with it. 

Also during dinner, Rarity tried multiple times to flirt with the Earth pony. Each time.... Well, here's some scenarios.

Rarity would say, "My, you look quite strong...."

Dragon Fruit would respond with, "All Earth ponies are strong. I'm sure not as strong as Applejack!"

"Thanks pardner!"

FAIL!

Another time.

Rarity would say, "I bet you would look DASHING bringing some well established mare like me on a date somewhere... Like a fancy restaurant."

Really subtle, Rares. Really. 

Dragon Fruit shrugged, "Eh, I don't really do that on dates. Stay at home and eat pizza while watching an action movie is more my taste."

This continued for a while. They could see Rarity getting more and more frustrated. Finally, she snapped. "Can't you see I'm trying to get you to ask me on a date!?"

Dragon Fruit made an 'o' with his lips. "Oh..... Well, you see-"

He was cut off as a black stallion barged through the door.



"Oh no, am I late!?"

Dragon seemed to chuckle as the stallion looked worried. "Don't worry about it, Star. You're fine."

"Phew." Star sighed in relief, walking over to Dragon and giving him a quick nuzzle before sitting down next to him. Dragon slightly blushed, and the other mares saw Fluttershy sport her Pinkie-like grin again. 

Dragon Fruit turned back to Rarity. "Well, you see, the reason I probably didn't notice was because of the fact I have a boyfriend. Everyone, meet Star Gaze."

Rarity face-hoofed. "Why does every stallion that I like usually turn out to be gay or dating?"

Twilight grinned. "But Rarity, you still have Spike!"

Her cheeks turned the tiniest shade of pink, although she scoffed. "He may be one of my best friends, but... I don't like him like THAT!"

All the other mares at the table rolled their eyes and said in unison, "Uh-Huh..."

Star Gaze tilted his head. "Who's Spike?"

Dragon Fruit grinned and nodded at him. "A baby dragon."

Star Gaze blinked. "Oh."

They all laughed. Dragon Fruit looked across the table at Twilight. "Hey Twilight, I know this is sudden, but our train won't be leaving until tomorrow afternoon. It needs repairs. Can we stay here?"

Twilight blinked. "Oh, sure! Though may I ask, if you both arrived at the same time, why was Star late?"

Star lightly blushed. "Oh, sorry. I got caught watching the stars." he pointed to his Cutie Mark with a midnight colored hoof. "I'm an astrologist, and I got my Cutie Mark for mapping the stars."

Fluttershy grinned, and there was mischief in her eyes, surprisingly. "Y'know, I just thought of something...."

"Fluttershy..." Her brother warned.

But, she continued. "If you two got married, would you be Dragon Gaze or he be Star Fruit?"

"FLUTTERSHY!" They both shouted at her, red as apples. Fluttershy just kept on grinning though.
