The next morning, Twilight and Fluttershy were sitting at the table, eating. Twilight wasn't saying anything because there wasn't really anything to talk about, and Fluttershy didn't want to wake up Candy Burn.
"So, should we tell them about the spell?" Fluttershy suddenly asked. Twilight looked up from her pancakes.
"I don't know. I think we should, but they might end up finding out that Candy Burn isn't actually your niece and is your daughter," Twilight said.
"That might be a risk that we will have to take," Fluttershy said.
"What might be a risk we have to take?" a blearily-eyed Candy Burn asked. Twilight and Fluttershy jumped a little in surprise. Fluttershy shot Twilight a look that basically said "Should we tell her?" A few seconds later, Twilight nodded her head. Fluttershy took a deep breath and started.
"Candy Burn, we have something that we need to tell you, and this might freak you out a little bit, ok?" Fluttershy asked.
"Let me guess, I was created with a spell," Candy Burn said. Twilight and Fluttershy's jaw's dropped.
"How did you know?" asked Twilight.
"Yeah, it's a little bit complicated, but I kind of remember everything that happened after you casted that spell. It's kind of like I was the spell that you cast," Candy Burn said.
"And when did you mean to tell us this?" asked Twilight, her voice starting to rise a little with anger.
"That spell was made to create life. I thought you didn't want to talk about it! Also, yes, I know what the spell is supposed to do," said Candy Burn.
"She's got a good point," Fluttershy said.
"Was this the risk you were talking about?" Candy Burn asked.
"Partially. The tree that attacked us yesterday was brought to life with the same spell, and we don't want to tell the others about the spell because it might reveal that you were created due to it," Twilight said.
"You casted it again? And the others don't know?" Candy Burn asked. Twilight shook her head.
"No. First of all, only Pinkie know's, and that's because it's Pinkie, and second of all, it was probably brought to life because I wasn't casting it on an inanimate object," Twilight said.
"Do you know if something like this could happen again?" Candy Burn asked.
"It's probable," Twilight said, when suddenly, the ground started shaking. There was what sounded like explosions kind of close.
"Think and it shall be," Twilight said. "It's happening again, and now, the town is under attack!"
