After a good few hours of Twilight's lecture both Yusuke and Kuwabara were up to speed on Equestria's history and culture. It was safe to say that all this new info was a bit much for them to believe. It was then Yusuke's and Kuwabara's turn to tell both mare's and dragon about their world. Needless to say what Yusuke and Kuwabara told them about the human world left them in amazement. Weather moving on it's own, machines that actually let humans fly through the air, and portable phones that doubled as music players which both teens had and showed them to Twilight, Moondancer, and Spike.
Needless to say human technology was way ahead of pony technology, equestrian cellphones were big and clunky while portable music players were still a thought. The talk between all of them had gone on long enough to where it was time to meet up with Twilight's other friends at the doughnut shop. As they were about to leave through the front gates a pegasus guard came up to both Yusuke and Kuwabara.
"Mr. Urameshi, Mr. Kuwabara. Princess Celestia wanted me to give these to you." The guard says as he hands over two bit pouches. "There's exactly 500 bits each for the both of you, you're free to spend them as you see fit."
"Wow, that's nice of her." Kuwabara replies as both him and Yusuke look inside their bit pouches.
"Yeah, tell her we said thanks." Yusuke said as they closed their bit pouches and leave the castle grounds with Twilight, Moondancer, and Spike.
"So what did the guard want to talk to you about?" Twilight asks.
"Well Celestia wanted to make sure we have money so she gave us five hundred bits each." Kuwabara says as he held up his bit pouch. As they leave the castle grounds both teens glance around Canterlot as the fallow both unicorns and dragon. The two of them couldn't help but notice how they often got stared at and on occasion in disgust, eventually the group arrived at Joe's doughnut shop and spotted Twilight's other friends at a nearby table.
"Twilight Sparkle, it's good to see you and Spike again." Says a unicorn stallion behind the counter. He has light yellow fur with green eyes and brown mane and tail. He wears a white outfit with a white apron and a paper cap on his head.
“Hi Doughnut Joe.” Twilight says.
“Hiya Joe, this is Yusuke and Kuwabara, they’ll be joining us today.” Spike says as he introduces both teens to Joe.
“Nice to meet you both.” Joe says reaching out a hand to the two of them.
“Like wise.” Yusuke says shaking Joe’s hand.
“Nice to meet ya.” Kuwabara replies shaking Joe’s hand.
“I’ll bring over a variety tray for you two plus Twilight, Spike, and Moondancer. Just make yourselves comfortable.” Joe says as he starts putting a tray of doughnuts, while Yusuke and the others sit with the rest of Twilights friends.
“So how do you guys like Canterlot so far?” Minuette asks both Yusuke and Kuwabarra.
“It’s all right, could do without the constant looking down from everyone though.” Yusuke replies as he takes a quick glance out the shops window.
“Don’t let them get you down, after all we don’t.” Lemon hearts says with a smile, just then Joe arrives with a tray with a variety of doughnuts.
“Here you go, Doughnut Joes variety special, enjoy everyone.” He says as he places the tray of pastries on the table.
“You guys gotta try the double chocolate glaze doughnuts, they’re my favorites.” Spike said as he picked one of them up and took a bite out of it. Both Yusuke and Kuwabara pick up a double chocolate glaze doughnut and take a bite.
“Wow, this is the best chocolate doughnut I’ve ever tasted.” Kuwabarra says as he takes another bite.
“I know, right?” Spike says as he gobbles up the rest of his doughnut. Yusuke and the others continue to eat the other doughnuts and make small talk.
"So what do you have planned for the rest of the day?" Lemon Hearts asks.
"We haven't really decided yet, is there anything you girls can suggest?" Yusuke asks as he finishes a doughnut.
"The shopping district is a good start, a lot of stores, an arcade, and a movie theater." Twinkleshine replies as she finishes eating a maple glazed donut.
"We could go for some new threads. Now that we're going to be living here now." Kuwabarra says as he picks up a pink donut with rainbow sprinkles.
"Yeah, since we're both out of high school, we don't need to be wearing our school uniforms anymore." Yusuke replied looking at his green uniform.
"Ooo! I can show you guys my favorite comic book shop." Spike says excitedly.
"Sure thing bud." Kuwabarra replies, holding up his hand for Spike and gives him a high-five.
"What do you say Twilight? Wanna go head to the shopping district?" Yusuke asks as Twilight finishes eating a jelly filled donut.
"Well I had planned on going back to the castle and get back to my studies." Twilight says.
"Aww...come on Twilight, can't we just take it easy and go have some fun?" Spike asks.
"Spike you know that as the princess's prized pupil I have a responsibility to my studies." Twilight says as Spike sighs in defeat.
"You do know that your books won't disappear on you if you're gone for awhile right?" Yusuke replies to Twilight.
"I'm aware of that Yusuke, it's just that I've got to get back to my studies, besides the girls here can show you around." Twilight says.
"Actually I have to get back to the Dentists office for my apprenticeship." Minuette replies.
"And I have my apprenticeship with the local jewelers I've got to get back to." Twinkleshine says
"Can't do it ether, I've got my apprenticeship with the local bakery." Lemonhearts reples.
"I actually need to finish packing my belongings on account I'm moving." Lyra says.
"And I promised my sister I would help her out at the public library." Moondancer replies.
"Looks like you're taking us to the shopping district Twilight." Yusuke smirks as Twilight sighs in defeat while Spike chuckles a bit. After the donuts are done Twilight's friends leave for their destinations while Twilight and Spike lead both Yusuke and Kuwabarra toward the shopping district.
