//------------------------------// // Sour Sweet's Teddy Bear // Story: Sour n' Sunny: Episode 1- Sour Sweet's Teddy Bear // by Sonicrules831 //------------------------------// “Thanks for letting me come over and see your old photos dearie, it’s a good way to just hang out and get to know each other better!” Sunny Flare looked through Sour Sweet’s photos. “Don’t mention it, because I know the others will laugh at my baby photos.” Sour Sweet crossed her arms. “I wouldn’t think that. Well Indigo and Lemon maybe. But they’re pretty adorable.” “Yeah. Heh. A lot of people have said that, I used to be like ‘I’m not cute’ when I was little.” Sour Sweet gave a small smile. They flipped through photos and even the photos of when they first met. Then they stumbled upon a page that Sour Sweet tired to flip quickly but Sunny stopped her. “What’s this?” She asked. “Oh!” Sour nervously laughed, “Nothing. Nothing at all!” “Come on, lemme see~” Sunny smirked. “No! Please it’s embarrassing…” Sour Sweet then gave up. It was a picture of Sour Sweet as a baby hugging a teddy bear. “Awwww!” “Nooooooo.” Sour Sweet covered her face. “So that’s how long you’ve had Mr. Teddyboo!” Sunny Flare said. “Yes. I never wanted to get rid of him. So all this time I kept him. Yes I still sleep with it ok?” “It’s ok I promise not to tell anyone dearie.” Sunny assured her. “Thanks. He just means a lot to me…” Sour Sweet went for Mr. Teddyboo, but it wasn’t there. “Huh?” She looked around for it. “What’s wrong?” Sunny got up. “Where’s Mr. Teddyboo??” Sour was panicking. “I don’t know isn’t he usually on your bed?” Sunny asked. “Always!” Sour Sweet kept looking. "Maybe it was misplaced?" Sunny asked again. "I-I don't know it's been on the bed all day!" Sour panicked. “Well, there is one thing you can do,” Sunny Flare tried to calm her, “Retrace your steps. What did you do with your teddy bear?” “Well, where do you want me to start?” Sour asked. “This morning. I won’t laugh about the teddy bear. I promise.” Sunny said. “Ok. I woke up this morning. Yes I was cuddling him! And I made my bed, then I put it where I usually do, right on the pillows here. Then I do the usual, take a shower, then i get dressed and do my hair. I gave it a pat and one last hug- HEY DON’T LAUGH!” Sour Sweet was interrupted by Sunny trying not to laugh. “I’m sorry Sour. Didn’t mean to.” She took a deep breath. “Sunny!” Sour frowned. “I’m sorry keep going.” “Ok. Anyway, then I went to school. I left before my sister Sweeten Sour did.” Sour explained. “And she’s the girl that goes to CHS and is the marching band drum major right?” Sunny asked. “Yeah. She did not want to go to Crystal Prep. I always mess with her because of that. She said she’d feel like it be more fun to go to CHS. Obviously she was right after what happened!” “Hmmm.” Sunny thought, “She could have taken it because she’s maybe pranking you or something. Let’s look around a little bit more before we come to any conclusions.” “I hope my sister didn’t take it!” Sour crossed her arms. But she began to think that was the case. They continued to look around the house, in the living room, kitchen, bathrooms and even Sweeten Sour’s bedroom. No sign of Mr. Teddyboo… Sour Sweet was on the verge of giving up. “I’m not sure where it is Sour…” Sunny frowned, “We could ask your sister, but if she doesn’t know where it is. He’s missing.” “N-no…” Sour Sweet had a tear in her eye, this caught Sunny by surprise. “Wow...this teddy bear...means a lot to her…” Sunny thought to herself. She felt bad for her. “It just means so much to me. It’s a piece of my childhood. I-I’m sorry I know I’m acting ridiculous.” Sour looked down. “Hey. It’s ok. You’re my friend and always will be. I’ll help you out.” Sunny pat her back. Sour sniffled, “Thanks Sunny.” Suddenly the door opened, it was her sister. “Sour! I’m home~!” She sweetly sang walking in. “Hey Sweeten.” Sunny turned. “Hey Sunny- sis? What’s wrong?” She asked in shocking concern. “You know...:” Sour assumed. “Know what?” “Sour.” Sunny tried to jump in, putting a hand on her shoulder. Sour looked up at her. “Was there something I did?” Sweeten asked. “Well, I’m assuming you know about Sour’s teddybear?” Sunny asked. “Oh! Yes I do, I know it means a lot to her. It’s like how I have my own stuffed bunny! Oh we had so much fun with our stuffed animals when we were younger!” Sweeten acted cutely. Sour’s face turned red of embarrassment. “She can’t find it.” Sunny added. “Oh I know why. Before you say anything Sour,” she opened up her backpack, “I went to Rarity earlier because I realize your teddy bear looked beaten up after all those years, plus your birthday is next week. So I went and got it fixed. Good as new!” Sweeten took out her teddy bear. Sour Sweet’s jaw dropped and her eyes widened, “S-sister…” “Happy Birthday Sis, I hope you like it.” Sweeten smiled. Sour was about to cry, “I’m so sorry sister. I-I was just so worried a-and…” she quickly hugged her sister tightly not wanting to let go. “It’s ok. I just couldn’t wait. I noticed it was beaten up.” “I love it so much! It’s like when I first had it as a baby!” Sour replied. “I’m so glad sis.” Sweeten hugged and grabbed Sunny into the hug. “I’m glad you did that Sweeten Sour, that was really sweet of you.” Sunny said. “Thanks Sunny. You coming next week for her birthday?” “Of course. Anything for a friend.” Sunny smiled. “Thanks Sunny.” Sour smiled. “What did I do?” Sunny chuckled. “For being there for me. I probably would’ve lost it if it wasn’t for you being here.” Sour then laughed, then Sweeten and Sunny. THE END
