//------------------------------// // Quest For The Taco // Story: Quest for the Golden Taco // by StarMark //------------------------------// Agent Fluffle was hiding in the forest that surrounded the cave. The night hid her ninja suit perfectly. The night was accompanied by the sound of cricket chirps and twinkling stars. Agent Fluffle had to get inside the cave to retrieve the Golden Taco. There was only one problem; the cave entrance was guarded by two changeling. Agent Fluffle looked around for something that would serve as a distraction. She looked at the trees, in the bushes, and on the ground. A rock! That’ll work. Agent Fluffle picked up the rock in her hooves and tossed it up and down for a while. She then through the rock at one of the guards that was off to the left. The two changeling guarding the entrance left their post and galloped over to the knocked out guard. This gave the pink earth pony enough time to sneak through the entrance. Agent Fluffle tiptoed past the bushes, across the ground and into the cave entrance. The easy part was over. The cave leaded deep into the mountain side. The cave wall seemed to have a faint blue glow to them. The drip-drop of water echoed of the wall and into the earth pony’s ears. The cave was empty, but Agent Fluffle wasn’t taking chances. She kept low to the smooth, rocky floor. The cave was quiet, too quiet. Agent Fluffle was getting a bit worried. Like something was going to jump out at her. Agent Fluffle’s thoughts where interrupted by a faint gold light in the corner of her eye. She looked up to see the Golden Taco on top of a small stone pillar. This was too easy. Before Agent Fluffle could take another step, an evil laugh echoed through the cave. The pink pony lowered into a fighting stance. Torches along the cave wall suddenly lit, covering the cave in an orange hue. Suddenly, a Changing stepped up next to the Golden Taco. She was much more elegant than the guards, and defiantly much, much taller. Agent Fluffle lowered into a fighting stance and let out a mad “Ppfffftttt” “That’s right,” Said the giant Changling “It’s me, Queen Changling!! Ha Ha Ha!!” Queen Changling voice was like nails on a chalk board. “Ppfft, Pffftt, Ppppffft!” Agent Fluffle said, pointing a hoof at Queen Changling. Queen Changling frowned and put her hoof to her chest. “I know you have concerns, but there’s no need for that langue!” “Pppfft, Ppfftt?” Fluffle asked “I’m glad you asked,” Queen Changling pointed at the Golden Taco. “You see, I’m going to use the Golden Taco to rule all of Flufflandia! Ha Ha Ha!!!” Agent Fluffle reached out for her weapon that hung on her belt. Some sort of silver neft gun. Fluffle held the gun sideways in her teeth. Queen Changling let out a small chuckle. “If it’s a fight you want,” The changling stepped off in front of the taco. “It’s a fight you’ll get!!” Queen Changling let out a blast of dark green magic at the pink earth pony. Dodged with a front flip and landed on her back two legs. Agent Fluffle looked back at the spot she just dodged. The wall had a deep dent. Green smoke rose and disappeared into the ceiling. Queen Changling let out another blast and Agent Fluffle did two more front flip. Landing on her all four hooves, she pulled the trigger on the nerf gun. A silver ball started to form. Agent Fluffle pulled the trigger again and the silver ball fired into the shape of a pillow. The silver pillow smacked Queen Changling right in the face. Queen Changling swayed back and forth in dizziness. Agent Fluffle pulled the trigger again and a second pillow hit Queen Changling in the face and she fell to the floor. Her mouth hung open as she made a soft “Gaah” noise. She was drooling and had spirals in her eyes. Like one of those knocked out characters in the cartoon Agent Fluffle had watch as a fillie. Agent Fluffle put her pillow gun in her belt and stepped over Queen Changling and made her way over to the Golden Taco. The golden Taco was much large then Agent Fluffle expected. It was about the size of a baby dragon, a glittered like the sun. It didn’t have the orange hue of the torches. Agent Fluffle slowly reached out with both hooves to grab the taco until a voice called out to her. “FLUFFLE PUFF!!!” Queen Chrysalis roared. Ok, so maybe Flufflandia isn’t a real place, and Fluffle puff isn’t a ninja, and the golden taco isn’t real. It was all in the fluffy pink earth ponies head. Fluffle puff quickly spun around to find Queen Chrysalis standing at the door way of the kitchen with a mean look on her face. “You said you wouldn’t eat the tacos without me!” Fluffle puff looked back at the purple box that the taco was in. Four tacos laid like a pair of dominos at the bottom of the box, two for each of them. Green magic rapped itself around two of the tacos and floated over Fluffle puff’s head. Queen Chrysalis took a bite out of one of the tacos when it reached her mouth and levitated the other taco to her left. Fluffle puff walked over to Chrysalis and sat down and looked up a Chrysalis. “No,” She hissed “You touched my taco.” Fluffle puff made large puppy eyes and stuck out her tongue, making a cute “Pppfftt”. Chrysalis looked down into Fluffle puff’s turquoise eyes. They seem to grow every second. And they seemed to grow sparkles and stars as well. Chrysalis try to look away but her mind seemed to think of the fluffy earth pony. She looked back at Fluffle puff, who still had her puppy eyes. Chrysalis let out a happy sigh and floated the uneaten taco in front of Fluffle. Fluffle puff let out a happy gasp and took a big bite out of the taco. Chrysalis smiled. “Happy Taco Tuesday, Fluffle puff.”
