//------------------------------// // Chapter 4: Are You Sure You're Not a Queen? // Story: My Little Destiny: Titans are Magic // by TheLoneWanderer57 //------------------------------// Across space, in another galaxy... "Sir, we have picked up a transmission from Kranox. He crash landed on a large planet that he says is perfect for the new army. Should we send them to claim the planet?", questioned a hallowed acolyte. "No. I shall see this planet myself before we release our armies to multiply.", replied the mighty Hive Prince. He then stood up from his throne, and left the room to take his ship to this new planet. "I shall leave at once.", said Crota. "Inform the Hive Wizards to follow by my side. We may need their assistance. Back in Ponyville... "Princess Celestia and Luna want to meet you guys. I've already told them the little that I know about your world. They are curious to learn more.", said Twilight to the three guardians. "Their carriage should be here in about an hour." "So Canterlot is where they live?", asked Blaze. "Yes.", said Twilight. "Gather your things and be ready in thirty minutes.", said Twilight. "I'll make lunch to eat before we leave." "Okay, thanks Twilight.", said Blaze as he left to go to their room, the others following. "Guys, when we go meet these 'princesses', we have to behave. If we don't, then the rulers could see us as a problem. Especially you, Joah." "What, me? I would NEVER.", replied Joah, as he put his hands together to look like an angel. "Don't screw this up Joah.", said Adrothe coldly. "I will also make sure to ask about any possible way home they might have.", said Blaze. "I'm going to reconfigure my systems. See you guys in twenty minutes.", said Adrothe as he walked over to a corner of the room and crouched. "Uh... me too", said Joah as he jumped onto the bed and laid down. Blaze then decided to just sit down. Sit down and think. "Okay, get up Joah, its time to go.", said Blaze, as he tugged at his sheets. "Ugh, finee.", said Joah as he got up. He also grabbed some of the leftover food from the table, because Blaze and Twilight ate while he slept. "You guys ready to go?", asked Twilight as she lifted a saddlebag onto her back. "Yep.", replied Blaze, as he picked his helmet, which he just decided to carry instead of wear with the rest of his armor. After a few minutes, a fairly large carriage landed in front of Twilight's tree, carried by six white pegasi. "They're here!", said Twilight, almost excitedly. Then, the door to Twilight's house swung open. In walked two tall ponies almost as tall as Blaze, with both wings and horns. One was slightly taller than the other, her body white, her mane a rainbow of blue, green, and pink, seemingly flowing in a non-existent wind. The other was a dark blue, with a lighter blue mane, also flowing like the other's. "Princesses!, Welcome!", said Twilight. She wasn't expecting them to come to Ponyville. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were coming, this place is a mess!", said Twilight as she picked up up everything in sight to shove in the closet. "It's quiet alright, Twilight.", said The taller princess. Her voice sounded like a mother, and very soothing. Joah then took a bite of the sandwich he found on the table and chewed. "*Ploo!*, That sandwich tastes terrible! What's in it? Grass?!?!", hollered Joah as he spat out pieces of grass onto the floor. Blaze then punched Joah hard in the shoulder. "Shut. Up.", he whispered loudly. "And who are your friends?", interrupted the princess. "I am Adrothe, as for these two idiots, I think they can introduce themselves.", said Adrothe, looking at the princess intently. She seemed different then the other ponies. "I. Am Joah.", said the Hunter, rubbing his shoulder. Planning to get back at Blaze later. "And I am Blaze.", said Blaze, trying to look better then his companions. "Welcome to Equestria. I am Princess Celestia, co-ruler here with my younger sister, Princess Luna.", said the princess, gesturing to the dark blue pony beside her. "Who's the queen?", asked Joah. "What?", asked the princess. "Well if there are princesses, there must be a queen." "There is no queen.", said the dark blue princess, now deciding to talk. "Oh.", said Joah, slightly scared of the other princess. "So you three are from another planet?", asked Celestia. "Yes. We are from a series of planets probably very far from here.", said Adrothe. "Interesting. But how did you get here?" "Thanks to these two, we ended up in a time vortex.", said Adrothe. "I'm not the one that jumped on Adrothe's back!", yelled Joah. "Yeah, and I'm not the one that jumped off a cliff in the first place!", retorted Blaze. "Both of you shut up. Your arguments are invalid.", said Adrothe, ending the argument. "Well, it is getting late, so we should start the trip home.", said Celestia. "I agree.", said Blaze. They then proceeded to load the the carriage. The trip was mostly silence. Once they arrived at their destination, Blaze saw just how enormous their castle was. It was white with splotches of purple and gold in different places. As the carriage landed, Blaze saw lots of art and plants surrounding the landing point, and a pathway leading to the castle. As they walked, their were many small creatures Blaze assumed were not intelligent. "Oh, and Twilight, Spike is over in the castle, and he can't wait to see you.", said Celestia. "Oh, great.", said Twilight. She honestly hadn't really thought about him since the guardians arrived. "Who's Spike?", asked Blaze. "He's my assistant. I sent him over here to Canterlot for a while, because Princess Celestia needed some extra help.", answered Twilight. "You ponies have boys?", asked Joah. He assumed they were an all female race. "Of course we do! I mean Spike's a dragon, but we do have males...", replied Twilight. Celestia giggled at this. No pony ever realized that her society was 90% female. "Wait. You ponies have dragons too? Sweeeet.", said Joah. They hadn't noticed, but after walking that whole time, they had already entered the castle. Inside there were guards around every corner, but none of them looked even slightly hostile. "Wow, this is quite a castle you have, Celestia.", complemented Blaze. "Blaze! It's PRINCESS Celstia!", warned Twilight. "It's quite alright, Twilight. I am not his princess. He is not below me in rank, simply because he is not of our ranks. Thank you for your complement, Blaze.", said Celestia. "You're welcome.", said Blaze, not sure of what just happened. "I believe it is time for you to rest, Celestia.", said the princess of the night. "You are correct, my sister. Guard, please show these three to their quarters.", said Celestia. The guard then turned to the guardians. "Please follow me." As they followed the guard down a different hallway than the three ponies they were with were in, Joah said to his friends. "It's one of those guy ponies.", as he pointed to the guard. They eventually stopped, and the guard pointed to a door. "Here is your room. It has three beds and extra blankets in the closet." "Thank you.", said Blaze as they entered their new room. Adrothe walked into the corner and crouched. "Good night, idiots." "I'm going to see if I can find some food. See ya tomorrow.", said Joah, as he crouched, turned invisible, and left out the door they entered. Now Blaze was alone. He looked around the room more closely, and saw a balcony on the opposite side of the door. He walked over, looking out at the city below him, lighting up the dark night around it. He looked to the sky. The moon they had was beautiful. Far different from the Hive-corrupted moon of Earth. "Wow, that moon is truly beautiful." Blaze swore he could hear a faint voice somewhere outside. Joah roamed the what seemed like endless maze of hallways, occasionally passing a guard, that couldn't see him because of his invisibility. He kept his eyes open for any sort of kitchen to eat in. Some may be confused as to why he would do something as stupid as this. And to answer you, it is because Joah really cares about his food. And he kind of thought it would be cool to explore a castle. After walking for about half an hour, Joah heard a small noise coming from a red door on his left. He leaned into the door, and sure enough heard a slightly louder version of the buzzing noise. Out of curiosity, he used his knife to break the lock, creaked the door open, and snuck inside. It was a big, empty grey room, with a short pillar in the middle, and a glowing red orb sitting on it. Joah slowly approached the mysterious artifact. Once he got closer, he reached out, and touched the orb with his pointer finger. It was hotter than what seemed like the sun. "Ow!", said Joah as he quickly pulled away his finger. This sudden movement knocked the orb off of it's pedestal, and it fell to the ground, shattering on the stone cold floor. "Oh. Shit." Joah watched as the red mist that was seemingly trapped inside the orb, flew around the room, then leaving out the door. Joah then decided it was up to him to fix whatever he did, so he gave chase. "Come. Back. Stupid. Thing." Joah was no longer invisible, running full sprint down a hallway, jumping and trying to grab the mist. Every time his arm got close, the mist just simply moved out of the way. "Oh, IT'S ON!", shouted as he ran even faster, mere inches from grabbing the cloud, until it suddenly split apart, pieces of it leaving through the walls in all directions. "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!", yelled a voice from the end of the hall. Joah turned to see a very angry Princess Luna, her face red with anger, staring right at him. "Um, I saw a red fume fly past my door, so I ran after it.", said Joah dumbly. "WHAT? We must stop it! It is the spawn of Discord, if it becomes powerful enough, it could destroy us all!", said Luna, no longer angry at Joah. She knew stopping the fume was more important than any argument. "Where did it go?" "Everywhere" "Then we must collect all of its pieces, it is trying to escape! Luckily, our castle is enchanted, so that evil may only leave through the front gates." Luna then ran into a room in the hallway, and came back with six blue jars. "These should be enough. The only way to stop the fume is to capture it in these jars. Here, take these and we'll split up. If you come across any guards, tell them you're helping me. Now go!", she said as she handed Joah three jars. She could not afford to let the fumes escape. "Got it.", said Joah, now determined to fix his screw-up. He ran the opposite way of the princess, searching for the fumes. After he made a turn, he saw a red glowing mass, just hovering. He ran at the mass, one arm extended, a blue jar in it. The fume noticed him, and flew down the hall. Joah then increased his speed, catching up to the fume. Once he got close, he pounced, sweeping his into the front of the mist, retracting his arm, and screwing on the cap. "If I get screwed, you're going down with me. He then put then jar in his pack, and pulled out an empty one. He quickly jogged down the hallways, until he came into what seemed like a dining hall. He then looked at the red that caught his eye. There was a fume up near the chandelier. He quietly switch on the jets on his leg, and got a running start. Once he got near the table, he jumped, and started using his thrusters. Once he flew past the red cloud, he swiped his jar at it, catching it. "I am just too good.", said Joah as he screwed on the cap. He had to admit, this was kind of fun. Continuing through the castle, he pulled out the final jar, but suddenly he was picked up by a red mass, much larger than the previous ones. He found himself unable to move as he was constricted in its grasp. "Well, I had a good run.", he said as the breath was choked out of him. Just then, a beam of blue light shot through the mass, just missing Joah. He fell to the floor, lifelessly. Luna then yelled, "BEGONE FOUL CREATURE!" As she cast a spell onto the fume, and it was then sucked into the jar, and captured. Then, she collapsed to the floor, checking Joah for injuries. "Joah? Joah?", said Luna worriedly. She saw his body was badly damaged. For just a second, Joah woke up, "We... Make a pretty good.... Team." "Stay with me Joah.", she said, as she charged up a yellow spell, and cast it onto Joah's body. He then made some movement, and his body sprang to life, his arms surging with electricity. Luna flinched in surprise. She had only cast a weak healing spell to keep him alive. He stood up. "Thanks for the boost!", said Joah, now even more energized. "H-how?!?", stumbled Luna. "I used my arc blade, which grants me extreme health regeneration, which basically fixed me up to tip-top shape." "Amazing.", said a fascinated Luna. "Well, it's getting pretty late. See ya.", said Joah, looking at his imaginary watch. He then turned around and left, his body still surrounded in lightning.
