My Little Pony Lock-On Story

[Crossover] [OC] [Sorta-Creepy?]

It was about 2 o’clock at night, and Knockout, a young echidna boy that had just turned 8 years old, was fast asleep in his house in Redwood Valley. While he was sleeping the phone rang from the kitchen. The young echidna waited in bed for awhile expecting his parents to pick it up. After it rang for several minutes he slowly crept downstairs trying to be quiet and picked up the phone.

“Hello? Who’s this?” Knockout asked worried by the fact that someone was calling this late at night.

“HI! I’m looking from somepony by the name of Knockout Steel Coatrack, I have some important news for him!” A female voice said over the phone in a bright and happy tone.

Knockout was scared out of his life at the fact the person knew who he was when he hadn’t even heard their voice before. “Uh, I don’t give my name out to people I don’t know... Do you want me to get my parents on the line?” Knockout said trying to keep calm.

“Su- I mean, no. You see, well, this is hard to explain...” The voice said trying to think of a way to explain what it was about to say. “It’s going to be like a surprise party, and only you can know about this! A-a-and I already called your parents and let them know earlier!”

Knockout was still a bit uneasy about the whole deal, but the thought of a party got into his small little mind. And like all other echidnas his age, he LOVED parties. “Well... I- yes, I am Knockout Steel Coatrack. But who are you?”

“My name doesn’t matter right now, but here’s what I need you to do. There is a box outside of the door of your house, I need you to go get it and keep it at your house until I call you again, okay?” The voice said over the phone in a bit of a panic as stuff shuffled over the phone and you could hear someone else in the background. “Look, I got to go now. I’ll make sure to call you back when everything set up! And remember, this is all a secret! And I pinkie-promise that nothing bad will happen!” The voice said as the call disconnected.

After the call ended Knockout turned around and was heading outside, but after he reached the hallway he saw a tall package waiting in front of the door, with a note on it saying:

“Oh silly me, I should have remembered, you are only 8! It would scare your parents if you would have went outside at this time of night. So I put the package here instead! ;) ”

After staring at the package for awhile trying to figure out if it was really moved, or if it had always been there, trying to take his mind off the thought he carefully and quietly Knockout took the box back to his room and looked for a place to put it, his closet? No, he kept a lot of his clothes and toys in there, it would be to hard to hide it there. Under his bed? No, EVERY young echidna hides stuff under there, it would be a stupid place to put it. He looked around the room and saw another note posted onto a wall near a bookshelf. he was starting to get a bit creeped out by now. First a phone call in the middle of the night, next a package in their house that wasn’t there before the call with a note on it, and now another note? How did could have it got here, He knew there wasn’t one when he got up to get the phone. Carefully walking up to it he read what it had to say.

“Oh, I guess I should have told you WHERE to put it now shouldn’t I? Oh silly me, okay here’s what you have to do. The bookshelf next to this note should have a book that is sticking out. First, push it all the way in and then pull it back out. It should open up to a hole where you can stick it in, and then put the book back in to the place it was at. :) ”

Slowly he looked at the bookshelf seeing a green book sticking out that was one of his favorite stories “Clash of Two Worlds” a book about aliens attacking his planet Earth, and a war breaking out. To his shock, after doing what the note said the bookcase slid out of the way and small room opened up that was just big enough for the package, and on the wall had another note that he pulled off from the wall and read.

“Remember! Nopony must know about this, in fact, it might be best you forget about it. but I will still call you back when everything is ready! It’s a Pinkie-Promise! ;D”

After reading the note Knockout carefully pushed the box into the small space and he put the book back into the shelf and watched as the bookshelf moved back into place, he then crawled back into his bed and went back to sleep.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Knockout woke up to the sound of his alarm going off. It was a nice summer day but he didn’t want to get out of bed. He had a strange dream last night about him being a young kid again and having had been awoken by a phone call in the middle of the night with a package at the door. Shoving that off he slowly got ready to go about his daily business, he was going to meet with his small group of friends to meet a person that was found on the outskirts of Skyrise Metropolis near a blue police phone booth, where they fought one of Knockout’s old friends, Blackout, better known to them as Oscuridad. He was hoping that with here they could find out why she got into a fight with Blackout, and also to find out about her strange abilities, he had never seen this kind of energy before in his life, save from when Blackout used it.

After walking to the meeting place for where the team meets, his old home in Redwood Valley, Knockout started to make sure everything was set up.

“Okay, let’s see what we have here...” Knockout said to himself as he pulled up a clipboard with a checklist. “Wide screen TV with a PS3, XBox 360 and Wii? Check! Mini-fridge filled with soda and other stuff? Check! Computer with tons of awesome games and stuff? Check! Last but not least, killer sound system with over one thousand songs? Check! Looks like everything’s ready!” he said looking around what used to be the living room of his old house, turned into a hang out for all of his friends. Fond memories of his childhood came into his mind while looking at the room. Blackout and he used to love to reenact stories from the books they read and make
up their own when they played together. Unfortunately those days came to a end a long time ago, and he was now fighting against him for real in a long and seemingly endless warfare that has torn the once safe island apart. But it had been peaceful for awhile after they had managed to trap him into the Dark World after his last attack, at the cost of one of his friend’s lives that stayed with Blackout to keep him still as they trapped him in there sealing both of them in. But after Blackout showed up again fighting with the girl the whole island went back into panic at the fact Oscuridad was free again, so Knockout had called his friends together again to reform the Azure Island Protectors team to stop any attacks that might be made.

“Knockout, are you there?” A voice came from outside as there was a knock on the door breaking him away from his thoughts.

“Yeah, I’ll be there in a second Ryan!” Knockout called as he walked to the door and opened it, outside was a short brown fox dressed in a white lab coat and black pants with a large pair of glasses.

“Neo and Violet are going to be here soon, they are getting the new girl a bite to eat first though seeing she was rather weak this morning, she must not have eaten in awhile.” The fox said as he walked in and set down his backpack on a table near by. “So this is the new hangout you’ve been working on for us? Seems sorta run down, like it hasn’t been used for awhile.”

“Well Ryan, I lived here in my early childhood with my parents. And I moved out to Skyrise Metropolis when they had to move off to the Radiant Mountains, but luckily this place wasn’t torn down by people looking for anything over the years. It should serve nicely until we can afford a new place, and who knows, we could just do a small fix-er-up on this place and keep it!” Knockout said leaning on a wall as it cracked a little bit.

“Yeah, a small BIG fix-er-up at least.” Ryan scoffed as he started to unpack some stuff from his backpack, most of it was papers and info he took from the old hangout they used before they disbanded a few years back. “Are you sure this is going to work though, the whole recruit-someone-who-popped-out-of-a-hole-in-the-sky-with-Oscuridad thing? I mean, it could be one of his evil minion things...”

“Stop being such a worrywart Ryan, what’s the WORST that could happen?” Knockout said slapping Ryan on the back.

“Besides her turning on us and killing us all, or her killing us all in this meeting, or...” Before he could finish they was interrupted on another knock on the door. “Oh, it looks like Neo and the rest are here. Well, let’s hope this goes over smooth...”

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

After the meeting Knockout and Ryan decided to spend the night at Knockout’s old house since Ryan was still had to finish getting everything ready for them to use, since they had decided to keep this as there meeting place. It was about 2 o’ clock at night, and they were both in their own rooms fast asleep. Knockout was awakened in the night by his cellphone ringing, he tried to ignore it, but it kept on ringing. So still being half asleep he picked up the phone to see who it was and yell at them for waking him up.

“Hello, who is this?” Knockout mumbled half asleep.

“Hi again, it’s been awhile since I’ve talked with you Knockout!” A female voice chirped happily on the other side.

“Who are you, and how on Earth do you know my name?” Knockout said, a bit more than scared by the fact that the stranger knew his name.

“Awwww.. Don’t you remember me Knockout? Oh wait, I told you to forget about it didn’t I? Silly me!” The voice on the other end said while there was some sounds of some sort of blender in the background. But before Knockout could say anything the person on the other side started talking again. “Okay, remember back when you was about 8 years old you lived in this house and got a phone call at about this same time?”

Upon hearing that his blood ran cold remembering the dream he had last night, it was him when he was a young echidna, 8 years old, and being woke up by a phone call. “How do you know abou-” Knockout tried to say something, but was quickly cut off.

“Oh goodie, you DO remember! Now, here’s what I need you to do, go to your bookshelf and pull out the book called “Clash of Two Worlds”, just like you did last time. Get the box and come to the dining room, I’ll tell you the rest once you get there.” The voice said in a more serious tone this time. “Oh, I gotta go, do as I say and I’ll talk to you again, okay? Bye!” and with that the call was ended.

Knockout slowly got out of his bed and thought about what had just happened, he was about to just forget it and go back to bed when he looked up at his door that was closed, but was now open and saw a note on it. He slowly got up and read the note.

“Oh silly Knockout, I TOLD you I was going to call you back, I pinkie-promised even! Why would I break a promise to a friend, now go get the box and come down to the dining room!”

Knockout just stood there, he was shocked and scared out of his life, how could someone have opened his door while he was on the phone without him hearing them? He turned around and headed over to the bookshelves that were in his room and looked for the book he was told to remove, and sure enough, the same book was there just like in the dream he had the night before. Slowly and carefully he removed the book and the bookshelf groaned and creaked as it slid open revealing a old box that looked to be about five years old, the wrapping-paper and the ribbons had faded and were all raggedy. He slowly removed the box, by now he was scared out of his mind, almost to the point he was wondering about his sanity. He went over to the closet and opened it up to get his coat, and something to use for self-defense, his Emerald Ax. But to his horror in the place the ax should have been, there was another note.

“Aw, why are you going to bring this sharp ax down with you? I thought we were friends, you act like you are in some sort of horror movie or something!”

There was suddenly a loud crash from down stairs, Knockout jumped and was bout to dash across out side of his room when he took one last glance at the note. And he note had a new line written on it, how did it get there? Did he miss it, was his hand blocking it, or was something horrifically wrong going on? He didn’t want to know, all he wanted was to see what it said and get down there.

“Oh, and don’t worry about the sound you heard. Just get the box and come down here, the party is ready! You DO remember the party, right?”

Knockout grabbed the box and slowly walked down stairs, once reaching the bottom he turned and saw a light on in the dining room and slowly walked into the room. The room was filled with party decorations, streamers hug from the roof, balloons floating everywhere. On the table was a party table cloth, and on top of that was a plated with two cupcakes, a pink one, and a blue one, the same shade of blue as his own fur. Between the two cupcakes was another note, that Knockout read as his heart was pounding from fear.

“Glad to see you made it to the party! Now all you have to do is set the box behind the chair on the side with the pink cupcake, and take a seat on the side with the blue cupcake!”

Following what the note said to do, he put the box on that side of the table and turned around and walked to the other chair and sat down and looked up to a balloon that, of course, had a note on it.

“Turn around”

Was all that the note said, slowly Knockout turned around in his chair and nearly jumped through the roof at the sight he saw and heard.

“HI!” A pink pony sat in the chair right across from the table said with a big grin on her face. “I’m so glad you didn’t chicken out, It took me forever to get this all ready after all. I mean, jumping through dimensions is hard to do.” She said spinning around in her chair.

Knockout just sat there in dead silence, trying to figure out what was going on. Was this a dream, some twisted prank, or was it real? Before he could say anything else the pink pony started talking again. “Oh silly me, I guess I should tell you my name like I said I would! I’m Pinkimena Diane Pie, but just call me Pinkie Pie! Of course, now would be the part where you would say your name, but I already know your name, sooooo.”

“So what are you doing in MY house!” Knockout finally screamed, he couldn’t take it any longer. If this was the same person who had called him when he was young, and now she called him again, he wanted to know just WHAT was going on and WHY she didn’t tell him in the first call.

“Whoa whoa whoa, cool down Coaty, here have a cupcake!” Pinkie said as she stuffed a cupcake in his mouth. “I know this whole thing might have seemed odd, but I have my reasons of why I didn’t, or rather couldn’t tell you the first time I called.”
After chewing the cupcake up enough he could talk Knockout was just about to lash out again, but couldn’t for some odd reason. “W-what have you done?” He ask in a calm tone although on the inside he wanted to scream.

“Silly, I didn’t want you to wake up your friend with your yelling, I TOLD you it was supposed to be a secret that only you could know. So I put some special chemicals in the cupcake to make you relax a bit, there is no reason to be afraid. After all, I am only here to warn you about what’s to come, and how you can save this world, and my world from their untimely ends.” Pinkie said in a voice that kept her normal chirpy tone, but at the same time it took on a serious tone.

“Okay, fine. but I still want to know why you couldn’t tell me the first time you called me. This whole thing scared the living daylights out of me!” Knockout said finally chewing the rest of the cupcake and swallowing it down.

“Okay, I’ll tell you why. You see, well. Hm, I don’t know why I didn’t tell you the first call. Maybe it is because it would ruin the plot of this chapter...” Pinkie said scratching her chin.

“The what?” Knockout asked blankly trying to figure out what she meant to say or if she was just blabbering.

“Oh never mind, that’s for the next time we meet. Anyways, about the box. It’s something I’ve been building for an adventure that you will be going on tomorrow. It’s a trans-dimensional teleporter that links my world to your world, when you use it you will follow somepony who looks like me, but is yellow with a pink mane. Of course we won’t be the same pony since there can’t be two of me. Save for that one time when me and Applebloom was making cupcakes, then I could make clones of myself while I was singing the cupcake song. Save we burnt the cupcakes, oh well back to the teleporter thing! The yellow pony will need to use this to bring you to my world so you can save both worlds from Oscuridad.” Pinkie said while trying to keep from going off on her pinkie-rants.

“Whoa whoa whoa, wait up one second.” Knockout said stopping Pinkie before should could go on. “How do you know about Oscuridad, have you been spying on me my whole life?”

“Nope, only for the past two days! Well, at least for the past two days in my world. You see, this Oscuridad came to me when I was asleep one night and gave me this strange chip thing, I think it was called a microchip. He put it in my ear and then knocked me out cold, when I awoke I found myself in a small cave somewhere with a metal door in front of me. I walked over and put my hoof on the door to see if it would open, and it did! On the other side was something AMAZING, a huge room filled with machines and robots, and all sorts of stuff!” Pinkie said full of excitement and paused for a moment and took a bite out of her cupcake before going on. “Wow, the ingredients here sure are different from the ones back home, but anyways! I looked at all of the things in the room, and each one of them I some how remembered how I made them, and how they worked. I quickly decided to try to look on one of the huge computers to see what all files there was stored on there to see if I had finished all of them, the only one I could find was this dimensional gateway that not only travels to worlds, but across time too! Something inside me made me want to build it, and before I knew it I started gathering the parts and making it like it was nothing! once I finished it I decided I would test it and set it to go into the future, and that’s when I saw what was going to happen. I would LOVE to tell you, but it would ruin the next two chapters of this story, so I’ll just say that I knew you would be needing this. So I went back to my normal time and made another so I could set things up so I could give you this one, now all you have to do is go put this teleporter in the hole behind the bookshelf and keep it turned on, what you will need it for will have you in a pinch for time!” Pinkie finally stopped talking, Knockout was now trying to grasp what was going on and what she was trying to tell him. After spending a bit of time sorting it all in his head he gave up.

“Okay, yeah. but I still don’t see how I can trust what you said, I mean you sorta poisoned my cupcake and all...” Knockout said tiredly and sleep deprived, he had been up since 2 at night, and the sun was starting to rise.

“Oh no, it’s already sunrise? I guess I forgot you guys don’t control the sun here, well it’s been fun, but I need to leave now. Maybe we can have a party after the next time we meet?” Pinkie said with a small little smile on her face.

“Uh, yeah, sure whatever.” Knockout mumbled getting out of the chair.

“Okie-dokie-loki! It will be a super fun one too. And trust me, you will see me again, it’s a pinkie-promise!” After Pinkie finished her last word she slowly started to fade away as she hopped past Knockout heading to the door. Leaving him just standing there staring at the party decorations and the empty plate that used to have the cupcakes on it with a small note. “Oh, and don’t worry about the teleporter, I already set it up. see you soon!”

“Well, I should REALLY stop eating Ryan’s burritos before going to bed.” Knockout said slowly while walking back to his room to go back to bed. He then fell into a deep sleep that he really, REALLY needed.

The End?

“Hey, are you still here? You’ve just read a prologue chapter to a super-duper fanfic! You should really see the rest of it!” Pinkie Pie said while she grabbed you mouse cursor and pointed it to the “Next Chapter” button.

“There, just click that and off you go!” Pinkie paused for a moment. “OH! And don’t bug the authors about finishing it, not happening, they Pinkie Promised on it! BYE NOW!” she said cheerily before closing the monitor back up.
