//------------------------------// // Unbreakable Shell // Story: Unbreakable Shell // by Castok the Shadow //------------------------------// It's been two years since the arrival of the aliens from the other world and all of Equestria and her allies are in a bloodily war against creatures more advance then themselves. From where the portal to their world to all the way to Manehattan. Has fallen to them, the ponies living there and their communications... Fell silent. Not a word has come back from the fallen territories, now controlled by them. By the order of Celestia. Almost all able-body ponies must be enlisted into the royal armies and must fight against these aliens from completely destroying the whole Equestria and even the very survival of the pony race. The others must find shelters from the war that's ravaging their lives and family. They did this by heading towards their latest invention created by the same scientists that created the portal to their world. The invention was called 'The Unbreakable Shell'. The Unbreakable Shell was originally made to hold prisoners from escaping prions by making the whole cell out of the toughest metals in the world. Containing enough room to house a maximum of fifty ponies per cell with enough rooms to hold storerooms, bathrooms and bedrooms. The idea would of been the best idea for containing criminals in. But now thanks to the aliens, the idea changed into a bunker and shelter for the citizens to be safe in. What made this invention even better is that it is placed underground, hiding in the earth so that no one can find it without being told. So that means none of them could find the ponies hidden inside. Which makes The Unbreakable Shell... Unbreakable and undiscovered. Far away from the city of Fillydelphia. The pony citizens were being lead towards the nearest Unbreakable Shell locations. Over hundred to thousands were being lead to the locations thanks to the local royal guards that princess Celestia summoned to defend Fillydelphia and her citizens. There was over a few hundreds of the Unbreakable Shells that can hide the citizens, the guards thought that'll be enough to hold the population of Fillydelphia and maybe enough for any other ponies that makes it here. "Captain" One of the guards said to the captain while looking at all of the citizens heading into some of the Unbreakable Shells. "I have a bad feeling about this" The captain looked away from view of Fillydelphia, not a single soul was in the vast city it once were and headed to the guard that just talked to him. "Don't you worry son" The captain smiled as he placed a hoof on his shoulder. "I know that sending our people into these things seem bad, but if we don't find them a shelter that can protect them from the likes of those... aliens then they'll be left in the mercy of them" "I know" The guard sighed "But it seem as if we were sentencing them to live forever in cells made for criminals then for honest citizens" "To win this war, son" The captain answered "We need to save as many ponies as we can and fight these invaders out of our world for good" Before the guard could reply back. The sounds of air being beat into submission was only a few miles away. The captain and the guard along with anyone else that heard the sounds turned their head to see what it was. The captain brought out a telescope and looked though it. This made the captain gasped as he saw what was coming this where... And frozen in fear from the sight. Twenty aircrafts that derives its lift from blades that rotate about an approximately vertical central axis was flying over the abandon city of Fillydelphia, filled with aliens that was holding on the aircrafts with weapons beyond that of the royal guard's spears. They were coming straight towards them and coming fast. The captain moved his telescope and turned to the guard that was trying his best to regain order from the panicking ponies. "Get everypony into those Unbreakable Shells right now!" The captain shouted his orders to the guard and the other. "Once they are all in then-" Then captain for some reason just fell down of the ground with his helmet coming off for no reason. The guard looked at his captain in disbelief as he picked up his telescope. In a few seconds, a sound of a boom was heard that made all of the panicking ponies stop shouting and moving. The guard looked though the telescope to see that one of the aliens had a weapon that was well known as 'The Silent-Death' and was now reloading it. "To the Shells, everypony!" The guard yelled at the ponies as they ran through the tunnels that leads towards the Unbreakable Shells. As they were running through the tunnels, the aircrafts were just landing down and letting the aliens off the aircrafts so they can go to where all the ponies were heading to. Most of the ponies were already inside the tunnels and were heading in the Unbreakable Shells as the aliens were getting closer, shooting anypony that wasn't through the tunnels nor were they in the Shells. The guard looked back and saw many of dead ponies laying on the ground with their eyes open in fear and shock. Some of them weren't even adults. The guard and a few others managed to enter one of the Unbreakable Shells and shut it tighter then ever before. The guard set the codes to sealed the door's locks. Even when they were inside of the Shells, they could still hear the sounds of the ponies screaming and the aliens weapons shooting everypony they could see or find. But soon, the screams and the shootings were dying down and only the sounds of the aliens steps could be heard. Right outside of the Unbreakable Shell's doors. "Report" Came a growly voice from the other side. Most likely the alien commander of the platoon. Soon the sound of salutes was heard. "Sir, we have purged this region of pony scums" Came other voice, this time it held an accent. "All excepted for those trapped inside of these bunkers sir" "And why haven't you destroyed it?" The commander asked. "Sir, our bullets cannot seem to pierce through the doors" The voice replied. "It seems to have a large layer of metal that probably stops our bullets from going through" The next thing to be heard was the sound of the commander's footsteps walking over the corpses of the fallen ponies and was coming closer to the Shell's door that contained the guard in. Soon the commander tapped on the door. "Ponies" The commander spoked with a venomous tone of voice from the mention of the name. "You have only two options; come out and you'll either be executed or be converted for the crimes on the island of Corfu and the town of Potter Bar to name a few. Or be killed in the most horrid way imaginable by your kind and believe me, you don't want that to happen" The guard thought about what the commander just said to them. What does he mean 'most horrid way imaginable by your kind?'. What can these aliens do? But the guard wouldn't let his people get in the hands of those aliens. The guard answered with all of his courage and bravery "Never! We will not open this door to the likes of you, we are protected by the Unbreakable Shell and there is nothing that you can do to open this door up" Some cheers came from other Shells from the words that the guard spoked through his mouth and to the alien commander. Suddenly a shoot from one of the alien's weapon silent the cheering ponies for their commander to speak his words. "Your right" The commander oddly agreed "There is nothing that can make this open, so you and all those inside this 'Shell' has chosen option two" The commander moved away from the door and shouted "Bring in the gases!" In through under the Shell's door came a green gas of foul chemicals that began to choke the ponies inside with the guard. The air around them were being changed to this gas. Many of the ponies began to cover their mouths or held their hooves over their necks. The guard fell down to the ground as some of the ponies began to die from the poison gas. "Does anyone else want to choose option two?" The alien commander yelled to the other ponies inside the other Shells. As the guard and the ponies inside with him was being choked to death. Some of the Shell doors were being opened to the aliens, ready to either be executed or to be converted. The guard felt like he failed his mission to save as many citizens as he could. But instead, he leaded them to their dooms. His eyes began to closes as the gas began to end his life.
