	It was a beautiful day in Ponyville. Celestia’s sun shining, not a single cloud in the sky, and a cool summer breeze blew through the little town. As ponies traveled throughout the streets, a certain brown earth pony stallion made a mad dash through the town. He sported a backwards yellow baseball cap with his spiked two-toned bangs sticking out of it, a blue shirt with the white letters HMD, beige pants, and yellow hoof shoes with white trim.

“Oh man, Sweetie is gonna kill me!” he panted, as he dodged the various ponies. 

It wasn’t the first time he was running last for his date with his marefriend, Sweetie Belle. It would be due to him oversleeping from either playing video games all night or from him up watching his favorite animated series The Adventures of Captain Blue. With all the strength he could muster, he ran faster to try and make it in time. Elsewhere, Sweetie Belle patiently waited by the park fountain for her coltfriend to arrive. She wore a turquoise mini skirt dress suit with black leggings, a white belt with a silver buckle and black heeled hoof shoes.  As her curly mane swayed in the gentle breeze, she looked down at her watch to see that it was three minutes to noon.

“He’s running late,” she sighed.

She figured that he must’ve been up all night doing another one of his infamous gaming sessions. She wished he didn’t stay up so late to play games, but she knew that was just who he was. She lightly chuckled as she remembered the fun times they had when she join him on one of his late night gaming sessions. The video games weren’t the only thing they were playing that night. As she reminisced about the fun they had, she heard her name being called.

“Sweetie Belle!” Button Mash shouted, as he ran up to her.

As he reached her, he was completely out of breath.

“Hmph, you were almost late again, Button,” huffed Sweetie Belle.
“Sorry...babe...I...didn’t...mean...to...” he respired.
“What was the reason this time?”
“Well,” he began to explain. “I actually left on time, but then I saw this awesome Captain Blue figurine in a store window.”
“Uh-huh,” she responded with an arched eyebrow.
“And well...I was talking with the shop clerk and just lost track of time.”

Sweetie Belle just sighed.

“Yeah, that seems about right.”
“But hey, at least I made it on time though right?”
“I guess...”

She then wrapped her arms around his right arm.

“Shall we get going then?" she said, with a flirtatious wink.
“You bet, babe," he answered, with a grin.

With that, the two then headed off for their date. Their first stop was the local restaurant, were they had a lovely lunch where they talked about the latest games coming out and the most recent episode of The Adventures of Captain Blue. Next, they went for a walk in the park which conveniently went passed by the same store with the Captain Blue figurine. With shake of her head, they entered shop to look at the various items they had in stock. The two then headed into the shopping district. As they walked around, Sweetie Belle saw a lovely rose in one of the local florists’ booths.

“Oh my, what a beautiful rose,” she said, trying to drop a hint.
“Huh, I guess it's kinda pretty,” he responded.
“Don't you think that it would look good in my mane?”
“Not really, you're beautiful enough that you don't need anything to accent it.”

She didn't really know how to deal with his response. One on hand, she was upset that he didn’t take the hint that she wanted the rose. But one the other hand, she was happy that he complimented her on her beauty. While she faced this internal struggle, she was snapped back into reality by coltfriend’s notorious fanboyish gasp.

“No way! It can’t be,” Button said in awe.
“What? What is it?” she asked.

To this Button merely pointed to a nearby vendor that was having a raffle.

“Okay...so somepony is having raffle. What’s the big deal?"
“Look closer, babe. They’re giving away tickets to an advance private screening of “The Legend of Captain Blue” movie.”
“Really, Button?” she deadpanned.
“Come on, Sweetie. You know I’ve been dying to see that movie since it was first announced a few months ago.”
“But, Button…”

She turned away from him to pout.

“I was hoping to spend some more quality time with you. I know we play games and watch your little show together, but I just wanted us to-“

When she turned back around, she saw Button Mash had already made his way over to the booth and purchased a raffle ticket.

“...And you weren’t even listening to me,” she said, as she clenched her fist in irritation.

By a stroke of dumb luck, Button won the tickets for private screening (much to Sweetie Belle’s dismay). The two then made their way to the movie theater. 

“Yahoo! What’re the odds, Sweetie?” Button cheered, as he jumped up and down.
“I know right. I’m so happy you won, Button,” she spoke with a forced smile.

After a few minutes, they final made it to theater. There the two were greeted by a smiling unicorn mare. 

“Welcome, contest winners,” she greeted with a smile. “Please follow me to the screening theater.”
“Lead the way,” Button said with a grin.

The three then entered into the theater. After a few moments, they reached the private screening theater. When they entered into the theater , they saw it was filled with plush cushioned seats with IMAX sized screen in the front. 

“Wooooow!” was all the two could say. 
“Please enjoy the movie,” the mare said with a bow.
“Thank you, miss,” said Sweetie Belle, with a nod.

The mare then left the two alone. As he looked around, Button could help but grin. 

“Can you believe we have this place all to ourselves?” he spoke in awe.

It was then that the realization really hit home for her.

He's right. We do have this place to ourselves.

She then looked at Button with a mischievous gleam in her eyes.

“Oh, Button~” she cooed. 
“Yeah, Sweetie?” he responded, still taking in the scenery. 
“Y'know, it is just the two of us in here~” 
“I know, it's awesome right? Now we can enjoy the movie in peace.”
“True, but y'know there's other things we can do too~”

She then wrapped her arms around his left arm and batted her eyes at him. 

“You're right, babe. We can cheer, shout, laugh, cry and boo as loud as we want,” he grinned.

Sweetie groaned in frustration.

“That's not what I-”

The lights in the theater started to dim, which indicated that the movie was about to start.

“Ooh, it's about to start. Come on, let's get to our seats,” Button said, as headed to the front row.

Sweetie let out a defeated sigh.  

“He can be so dense at times,” she huffed, as she follow after him.

After few minutes into the movie and Button was totally engrossed with the story, while Sweetie Belle used the time to nestle closer to him. Her nestling time was often interrupted by him as jumped up during the intense action parts. Toward the climax of the movie, Captain Blue (older humanoid male with pale wrinkled skin and a silver mustache. He who wore a blue unitard with white accents around his neck, white gloves and boots, a long blue cape, a white belt with a yellow buckle, and a blue helmet with white accent, an aqua green visor with red scar on the right eye and gray fin with a yellow orb) was locked in mortal combat with his arch nemesis the evil Almighty Leader (a dark looming mechanized figure that is shrouded in darkness). Using his legendary mech, Six Majin, he continued the epic clash of good vs. evil. It was only a few moments when Captain Blue found himself backed into a corner.

“Captain Blue fights with every ounce of his being. He fights against the dark forces of evil, for what is right. This is all that Blue has ever wanted; to do the right thing, ” spoke the narrator.
“Come on, Blue! You have to save the world! We can’t do it without you!” shouted Button Mash.
“Button~ I know there's a lot of action happening on the screen right now. But why don’t you show me some off-screen action too~ ” she cooed.  
“Huh? What are you-”

Before he had time to react, Sweetie Belle pushed Button on his back onto in his seat. As she hovered over him, he saw a familiar gleam in her eyes.

“Uh, Sweetie...” he gulped.

Without hesitation, Sweetie Belle dove into a passionate kiss. She pressed herself deeply into the kiss as she wrapped her arms around his neck. As they found themselves lost in their passions, Button started to pull away and sat back upright. 

“W-Whoa! Swe... Sweetie, what's gotten into today?! You're a lot more frisky than usual,”  he said, a little out of breath.
“Is it wrong to want to  do something like this with my special somepony?” she asked, with a half-lidded gaze.
“Well no, but this is a once in a lifetime chance to the see an epic movie before anyone else. Can't I get a rain check  on this until the movie is over. ”

Sweetie Belle then gave her trademark pout.

“Well, I’ve been looking forward to this alone time with you for a while now! We haven’t been together like this in like forever!” she whined, but then gave him a lustful grin.  “And I'm not going to let this time go to waste.”
“But Sweetie-”

She then pushed onto his back again, and dove into another kiss. As he felt himself giving to her advances, Button felt his eyes drift to the movie screen. He saw that the battle was headed toward its conclusion. Once again he found the willpower to break away from the kiss.

“Babe, come on. We're missing the best part of the movie,” whined Button.
“So what's more important to you? Me or this dumb movie?” Sweetie angrily spoke.

Button was about to abruptly respond to her question, but quickly decided to think before help spoke. He knew he loved her, but sometimes his fanboy habits makes him do and/or say stupid things. Just as he was about to answer they heard an explosion coming from the screen, which caused them to turn their attention to it.

“Mwhahahaha! I have won! The dark side prevails! Now you have seen just how flimsy your sense of justice is, Captain Blue! Now I rule this world! The world is MINE!” darkly spoke the Almighty Leader.

The dark master then grabbed the defeated hero. He then opened a portal an tossed Captain Blue into it. 

“NOOOO....” screamed Captain Blue, as he fell into the abyss.
“Impossible...there's no way Captain Blue can lose,” Button said in disbelief.
“Maybe this is just a plot twist,” said Sweetie Belle. 
“And thus Captain Blue was brought to his untimely end. Goodbye, beautiful world. Nothing will ever be the same again,” spoke the narrator.
“This can't be the end of Captain Blue...it just can't!” shouted Button.
“I'm sure it'll work itself out by the end of the movie,” Sweetie said to try and console her coltfriend.
“I wouldn't be to sure of that, young filly,” spoke the Almighty Leader. 

They both then looked at the screen in confusion.

“Did that movie villain just talk to me?” she asked, a little scared.
“That's not possible...right?” he answered.
“Oh it is very possible,” it replied, with a menacing chuckle.

The dark figure then turned to face them.

“What in Equestria?!” they both shouted.

The Almighty Leader then reached through the screen and grabbed Sweetie Belle out of her seat.

“Aah! Hey, lemme go you creep!” screamed Sweetie Belle. 
“Sweetie Belle! Let her go!” demanded Button Mash. 
“Never! The girl is mine now! With her, my plan for this world will be made real!” he darkly chuckled.
“What are you talking about?! Give her back right now!” Button ordered. 
“Never boy. She is coming with me,” responded the Almighty Leader. 
“Button, do something!” said Sweetie Belle, who struggled to get free.

Button then charged the dark figure. With a swing of his mighty fist, the Almighty Leader sent Button crashing into the cushioned seats.
“Button!” Sweetie Belle cried.

Even though he was in pain tremendous pain, he still was able to make it to his hooves.

“Give...her...back!” huffed Button.
“Never! Now to finish you-” 

Before he could finish, the Almighty Leader was struck by Captain Blue's legendary Mech Six Majin.

“Even when your master has fallen, you still continue to fight? How admirable, but ultimately futile.”

With one hand, the Leader sent Majin Six crashing thru the movie screen and onto the movie theater floor.

“Farewell, boy.”

The two of them then started to fade away.

“Button...” Sweetie Belle called out to him as they disappeared.
“Sweetie...Belle...I gotta save her,” groaned Button.

At that moment, the Majin Six began to move. Within moments, it was vertical once more.

“Wow, it's the real Majin Six!” he said in awe.

This caused the legendary mech to turn its attention toward him. It then reached down to grab him.

“Hey, what're you doing?!”

It did not respond, but simply walked back toward the movie screen. The two are then sucked into the movie.

“Wait...hey...WHOA!”

He then is engulfed by a bright light.
