"How long since I tried to jump out of Twilight's library?" I asked Haunt.
"Well from that day to today I would have to say exactly a year." Haunt said.
"That means today is my birthday. I don't care for it as most ponies in my age group, by the way Haunt why do you constantly wear that pink jacket with a black bat symbol on it?" I asked.
"First off, it is not a pink jacket with a black bat symbol on it, it is a purple hooded jacket with a black bat symbol on it. And second this is the last proof that my real family might be still alive. A mysterious mail mare pony gave it to me with a note that said, some where in the lines of, 'Dear son, Find us we're waiting for you to come back home. Your real parents, Marry and Parry.' It was the one day before that my foster mom and foster dad died on my twelfth birthday. Would you like to hear the rest of the story, Lexi?" Haunt said.
"Goody, I mean yes please." I said.
Haunt view;
(Flashback) "Well tomorrow I say it will be my birthday mom and dad I can not wait for it." I said cheerfully as I bounced around my soon to be foster parents.
"Calm down son. We are not in no hurry. Let us get the party ready for tomorrow, son." my soon to be foster dad said as him, and mom help me to set up the table, the chairs, the plates, and the cake was done ready to be eating by me tomorrow. Then the note came.
"A package for a Phantom 'See' Haunt?" the mysterious mail mare pony asked.
"It is Xii. It sounds like see, but yes I am him." I said.
"Well happy early birthday Phantom Haunt. What age will you be tomorrow?" the mysterious mail mare pony question as I thought to myself I did not tell the mail mare my birthday.
"Twelve years old, but how do you know my birthday was tomorrow?" I asked the mysterious mail mare.
"That is easy you silly filly, I mean you silly colt. I know everyponies birthdays." the mysterious mail mare pony said mysteriously.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Well, I am pony like you silly colt, but remember this, you will see me again, but not for a long while. Well by Mister and Miss Haunt." the mysterious mail mare pony said as she mysteriously disappeared.
"What is it, son?" my soon to be foster mom asked.
"It is a purple hooded Jacket with a cool symbol on it." I said as a letter slowly floats down on the floor. I picked it up and read it.
"'Dear Son, We are so sorry for abandoning you from the start. Here is your purple hooded jacket with a bat symbol on it if you find others like it then you know we are your real parents. We are ready to find us we are waiting for you to come back home. Your real parents, Marry and Parry.' What does this mean? Mom, dad, you are not my real parents but foster ones?" I said in anger.
"We found you on our doorstep. We took you in and raise you into the pony you are now, but now our secret is reviled. Tomorrow, you have to leave for a better place and we will give you the last of are bits to get you out of here as fast as possible. Now go to sleep, son." my now be to known as foster parents said. I went to bed not knowing that on my twelfth birthday will be one of my worst days of my life that would happen, will happened tomorrow. (end of Flashback).
"And you know the rest up to my meeting with Zecora. Which I will tell you next time, Lexi." I said.
"I hope so, I want to know your whole story." Lexi said.
"I will tell you one day, Lexi one day I will tell you but today I will not. Stop here Trixie." I said.
"What is that?" Lexi question as we saw a pink dome surrounding the Chrystal Kingdom.
"That is a changeling barrier, which means the her highness, Queen Chyrsalis can not go into the kingdom. Chyrsalis would you demonstrate this?" I asked.
"Fine. Can't believe my half-brother." Chrysalis said.
"What was that, Chrysalis I could not hear you?" I said.
"I said that I should be the leader." Chrysalis said as she poked the pink barrier with a hoof it was solid.
"See, but if I did the same..." I said as my hoof went through the pink barrier and I said, "I go strait through."
"Cool! Let me try it!" Lexi said as she tried to run through the pink barrier but she hits the barrier hard.
"Ow! Why it did not work, Haunt?" Lexi said.
"I do not know, but if I had to guest you might have small traces of changeling blood in you." I said.
"Actually, Haunt. She might be your great granddaughter but she if she does have changelings blood then technically she was the first female changeling that was 'made' before I had one. So if I die before I picked my female changeling. She will become the new queen of the changelings." Chrysalis said.
"Whoa, back up there I would be the next queen of the changelings if you die? But I don't want to be the next queen of the changelings, I just want my cutie-mark!" Lexi said crying her eyes out.
"Look what you done! You made my great granddaughter cry! I am mad as it is with princess now I have to deal with this!" I said.
"Trixie thinks you should calm down Haunt. You are not setting a good example for Lexi. Think of the good parents out there like your foster parents." Trixie said.
"YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT MY FOSTER PARENTS THAT WAY! No pony, zebra, dragon, griffin, timber-wolfs, or other species that I forgot to mention can talk about my foster parents that way. Only I can talk about my foster parents that way! You have no right to assumed them to be good to me, miss 'only talks in third-pony'!" I said with anger. Then said, "I am so sorry Trixie, I should not snapped like that. I feel awful to you and Lexi, I am not the pony I was once was, then, or now. I am not a good parent, I am the worst. Will you ever forgive me and my wrong doing?"
"I forgive you Haunt, what ever was in the past stays there." Lexi said as she hugged me.
"Thank you, Lexi know matter what happens to me, you, or the others we will have each other." I said.
"That is great Haunt, but will we not be separated with this pink anti-changeling force field?" Trixie asked.
"Unfortunately yes we will be separated by the pink anti-changeling dome. Lexi, Chrysalis you will have to sit this one out and protect our ride, ok?" I said.
"We will Haunt, good luck with finding your pages." Lexi said.
"Do not get hurt for me half-brother, so I can hurt you myself." Chrysalis said.
"Thanks for the confidence boost, Chrysalis." I said sarcastically.
"By Haunt." Lexi said as me, Zecora, and Trixie went inside the pink anti-changeling dome where our fur was turning into crystal-like fur glistening in the sun
"Look a crystal Zebra, let us talk to it." several crystal ponies said as they come up to Zecora.
"I like your crystal stripes but are they are black crystal stripes, or white crystal stripes?" one crystal pony asked.
"Well they are just black stripes." Zecora said.
"I did not know that zebras can have cutie-marks." another crystal pony said.
"Look we have to go into the castle, could you guide us there?" I asked.
"Move along Shining Armor coming through." Shining Armor said as he pushed through the crowded crystal ponies.
"Hello, ponies and zebra, and welcome to the Crystal Kingdom. What can I do?" Shining Armor asked.
"Me and my friends would like to see the inside of the castle, please." I said.
"I think I saw you before, have I not?" Shining Armor questioned.
"No you have not." I said wishing Shining Armor would not recognized me.
"Oh, I know now. You must be Twiliy's friends." Shining Armor said.
"Yes we are Twilight Sparkle's friends, but do not tell her we are here it would ruined the surprise." I said.
"What kind of surprise?" Shining Armor asked.
"I will tell you we we get to the castle." I said wishing he bought the bluff.
"Sure, come in my wife is at Canterlot to help Twiliy's little problem." Shining Armor said as we went in the castle, when 'they' said the castle was made out of entirely of crystals 'they' were not kidding.
"What little problem was it?" I question, even I knew the answer.
"Well according to my wife, Twiliy is having a colt-friend problem." Shining Armor said.
While outside the barrier...

"So Chrysalis, how long do you think the rest of our team been in there?" I asked.
"Judging the sun's position maybe two hours, why?" Chrysalis asked.
"I have a funny feeling, that something is wrong." I said.
"Like what?" Chrysalis asked as some crystal ponies guards saw her and me.
"I must tell Shining Armor that we have a changeling outside the barrier with a filly under her control." a crystal pony guard said.
"Wait, the changeling can not go through our barrier, but should not the filly can go through?" another crystal pony guard said.
"We must free the filly from the changeling's grasped." the last crystal pony guard said as they went through the barrier.
"Changeling, you will free your capture filly or we will have to use force." a crystal pony guard said.
"I have no need for her." Chrysalis said.
"What are you doing?" I quietly asked.
"Fallow my lead." Chrysalis said quietly.
"Got it." I said quietly.
"You are willing to free her?" another crystal pony guard asked.
"Sure if one of you trade places with her." Chrysalis said.
"Not it!" two crystal ponies guard said in sync.
At the castle...
"Jinx, five sets of hay fries are mine." Zecora said.
"Is she always like that?" Shining Armor asked.
"Sometimes." Haunt said.
back outside the barrier...
"Why is it always me?" the last crystal pony guard said. Then said, "Ok, I will be the trade for the filly."
"What a brave thing you have done." Chrysalis said as she used her magic to control the last crystal pony guard as she was now possessed.
"Ok, you got what you wanted now give us ours." a crystal pony guard said.
"Go, on you are free." Chrysalis said.
"Thank you guards, for freeing me from her grasped and for your reward." I said using what I have learned from Chrysalis to control a guard.
"What are you doing, the filly is a changeling, run for your lives." a crystal pony guard said as he was the last one.
"Changeling Drone#9,001 attack!" Chrysalis said as the changeling controlled the last crystal pony guard.
"This feels funny, Chrysalis. Is my mind is inside my controlled guard?" my controlled guard said.
"Even better, if you changed the controlled guard looks you will look like yourself." Chrysalis' crystal guard said as the guard turned into a no holey Chrysalis with a green crown on her flank.
"Goody, I do not like being nopony else then me." my controlled guard said as the guard turned into me. then my guard said, "What will our real bodies do, Chrysalis?"
"Our real bodies will look like the real guards to any species but changelings." Chrysalis said. then said, "Drone#9,001 guard our real bodies until we get back understand?"
"Yes, understood my queen." Drone#9,001 said.
"Let us go, the faster we get this done the faster I will not feel funny, and not the ha ha funny ether." I said as we went to the castle where we meet the rest of team H.A.Z.I.C.
"Daddy, I miss you." I said winking at him.
"Lexi, come here to your daddy and I see you brought mommy too." Haunt said getting the message.
"Sorry, Honey we were late the guards wold not let us through because I look like that Queen Chrysalis without holes or a chitin." Chrysalis said.
"I am so sorry for the guards action. But with a changeling barrier we can stop changelings from coming. Now I think about it you do look like Queen Chrysalis. What is your name miss?" Shining Armor asked.
"Chrysalis." Chrysalis said.
"That is horrible, named after that queen herself, what were your parents thinking?" Shining Armor asked.
"Well if you want to know my parents used to be friends to the queen and they promises that they will name their first daughter after the queen, and I kept the name to keep the queen from destroying my home town." Chrysalis said.
"We must do something." Shining Armor said.
"Do not worry I already did. If I keep the name then she will not attack the town. After all it is just a name." Chrysalis said.
"But still I must try." Shining Armor said.
"Do not do it, me and her made the changeling packed, and you know if any species interferes then she can do what ever she wants." Chrysalis said.
"Sorry to interrupted but I believe Shining Armor has what we want." Haunt said.
"Ah, those pages here you go, but at least stay in my wife's and mine castle for a day for your troubles with the guards." Shining Armor said.
"Thank you we will take that offer." Chrysalis said as Shining Armor showed us our rooms we past by a weird mirror.
"Here you go. Tomorrow I will personally talk to my guards about disrespecting you Chrysalis." Shining Armor said.
"Just call me Chrystal." Chrysalis said.
"Good night." Shining Armor said as he left to his own room.
"What, how are you able to past the barrier?" Haunt said.
"Well Chrysalis showed me how to control ponies. Then Chrysalis showed me how to look like me with the guard." I said.
"When we get out of here, me and Chrysalis will have a talk about this." Haunt said.
"What else could I do? Wait, no thank you." Chrysalis said.
"Yes you could of wait for us. That would of been the smart choice." Haunt said.
"Well Sorry." Chrysalis said sarcastically.
"Is it time to read the pages?" I asked.
"Yes." Haunt said as he read, ~entry#24: Haunt here, I just saw somebody wanted me for a new spell, 'The Universe destruction spell' he called it. The next entry will have that one in there. Here to the destruction of my enemies and this universe, but that will happen next time I write. The spell for to day is riddles. Say riddle me this. and a random riddle appeared in front of you. ~entry#21: Haunt again, why do I even bother writing, nopony but me and my blood relatives can read this, it is not like I will have kids.
maybe I should not of said that Karma and Irony has a way of getting to you when you lease expect it. Also on that note Karma and Irony are living beings that we can not see, unless you do this spell. Say Karma, Irony I will see you both. The con is if you do see them make sure they can not see you or they will make you miserable until the spell is over. (end of entry)
"Where will we go this time?" Trixie asked.
"Well, there seems to be a page through that mirror we past by." Haunt said.
"How is that possible?" I asked.
"Legends state that their is another universe through that mirror and only certain species can go through. Trixie you will have to cover for us while the rest of this team goes into the mirror. Trixie can I counting on you to stall Shining Armor any way you can without getting yourself in the jail. Understand, the plan?" Haunt said.
"Trixie will try not to let you down." Trixie said.
"Good. Now we wait for tomorrow to spring it." Haunt said.
