     "Aahhh! Peach, do something! Please!" Orion screamed. That's me, no not Orion! I'm Peach, Peach Cobbler. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it sounds like I'm a dessert, but I'm not! All this screaming and stuff is giving me a headache, so I'll get to the point. Or not. You see it all started this morning.
I woke up, the sun as shining, and my sister, Flora, was fighting with my mom, Fluttershy. A quiet argument you can say. That's an oxymoron isn't it? Okay, back on topic. They were arguing over the paint set Flora wanted. If it was me fighting with my mom, I probably would've won. my mom and sis are shy and soft spoken. Me? I'm about as loud and abrasive as it gets, So I have to pick my fights with my mom and sister wisely or I could scare them half to death! Back on topic again! We, the Cutie Mark Crusaders ,were going to the tree house for a meeting. I got there and the other members, Orion and Bucky, met me at the entrance. We talked for a minute then made the final decision for our adventure into the Everfree Forest to get our cutiemarks.
We got into the woods and had traveled for a while when Bucky started complaining that he was hungry. I reached to grab something to get him to quiet down and then realization hit! We forgot our saddlebags! I flew up to see if there were any bushes or trees nearby. That was a lie. It was more like 'I tumbled and struggled up to see if there were any bushes or trees nearby.' Luckily I found an apple tree nearby. We walked over and picked some apples, letting Bucky check them to make sure they were okay to eat. We then stuffed ourselves and talked for a while. A while later we attempted to get up and out of the forest, because more than likely we wouldn't get our cutiemarks here. 
Like I said we attempted to get up but then three teenage ponies fell out of some bushes nearby! We walked over to see if they were okay, but Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Applebloom were absolutely  fine! " Auntie Apple?" Bucky exclaimed and Applebloom responded with a cheery, " You know it!" 
"What are you doing here?" asked a quite confused Orion. 
"Hey! Can't we go out for a walk without getting interrogated?" snapped Scootaloo, who was then scolded by Sweetie. 
Sweetie Belle answered Orion's question with, "We were spying on you." 
"But why?" we inquired. 
"Because we know firsthand how dangerous it can be here," they shot back, "and anyway, we wanted to bug you." 
"Uh guys? Speaking of trouble, look!" Bucky frantically whispered to us. We looked over and saw the back of a mythological part chicken, part snake, all evil creature called the cockatrice, oh and an added bonus? It can and will turn you to stone.
It didn't turn around when Bucky told us it was there, so we backed up slowly, trying  to get away. It worked until Orion stepped on a twig, snapping it. The cockatrice spun around and looked directly at us! Luckily Applebloom and Sweetie Belle pushed us into a nearby bush. But Scootaloo hadn't been listening and was looking directly at the beast! She had been turned to stone!
"Aahhh! Peach, do something! Please!" Orion screamed. Okay, we are back were we started, so I'll just continue. Why Orion was screaming at me, I haven't a clue, but I understood what he was saying and why. My mom was able to perform The Stare. She had taught me a while back due to my constant whining, but  I had never tried to perform it under pressure. 
I shoved my hooves over his mouth and whispered to him to ask if his mom, Twilight Sparkle, knew a counter spell to the cockatrice's. He nodded. I gathered my courage and leaped out of the bush. The cockatrice turned and looked at me. I took a deep breath and started to stare it down. I felt a cold sensation in my back hooves and knew it was the end of me. But then the cockatrice gave me a weird look and then poofed! It had disappeared! All that was left was left was the terror on our faces and the stone parts of me and Scoots. 
Orion and Applebloom went to get his mom and Sweetie Belle stayed with me and Bucky. Afterwards, we had a lot of explaining to do! Luckily, we weren't in to much trouble. So we didn't get our cutiemarks, but boy did we have fun!
