Magical Mystery Cure in The Future

Sapphire VS Sky Dancing

Midnight walked over to the field where Skyler always practices her routines. She saw Sapphire “practicing” a routine. Sapphire is the only child of Rarity and Spike. She looks more like a pony than a dragon. The noticeable dragon features she has are her claws, horns, and sharp teeth. Her dragon horns also work like a unicorn horn. Midnight looked at Sapphires flank where a red ruby used to be, and was replaced with a pink heart with clouds. She looked over to her side and saw three ponies standing there, Rainbow Dash, Soarin, and Rainboom (Rainbow Dash’s and Soarin’s son).

“Hi you guys,” said Midnight.

“Hey kid what’s going on,” asked Soarin.

“Oh nothing much. Just trying to turn my best friends back to normal and not make their destinies destroy their lives,” she said sarcastically. Soarin felt kind of embarrassed after he realized the situation.

“Have you gotten any luck,” asked Rainbow.

“Nope. Not even close,” she replied.

“What stupid thing is my older sister doing now,” Rainboom asked. Rainbow then slapped him. “What. She didn’t want to be a Wonderbolt, and out of all the the awesome things she could’ve done she chose to do Sky Dancing,” added Rainboom.

“You’re sister makes a fine living performing gracefully for thousands of ponies,” replied Rainbow.

“So what has Sapphire been doing,” Midnight said changing the subject.

“She has trying to make up a routine. I mean she may be Rarity’s daughter, but she isn’t that grateful,” said Soarin.

“Well it is Sky Dancing. It would probably help if she had wings,” Rainboom said. Rainbow then gave her son another slap.

“I feel so bad for her. She’s just trying so hard. Sapphire has been at it for at least six hours now. She can’t remember parts of her routines, she can’t do things she wants to put in her routines, and like Soarin said, she isn’t that graceful,” replied Rainbow.

“Have you guys told her anything yet,” asked Midnight.

“Well we just can’t say something. She’s part dragon. Who knows what she’ll do to us. I don’t want my wings to be burnt to a crisp,” exaggerated Rainboom.

“Um she can’t even breathe fire,” replied Midnight.

“Well okay don’t need to be all exact about everything.”

“Well he does have a point. She is part dragon and we don’t know what she can do. Since you’re her best friend maybe you could talk to her. I mean you can talk to her about anything without being scratched or bitten,” said Soarin.

“Well there was that one time....” The three pegasus looked at her in concern. “Never mind I’ll go talk to here.” Midnight walked over to the purplish/whitish unicorn/dragon.

“Um...Hi Sapphire.”

“Oh hello Midnight. What brings you here,” asked Sapphire.

“What are you doing?”

“I’m practicing my routine. Okay so it was step, step, kick, and twirl..,” Sapphire said as she fell while twirling. “Okay need to work on that,” she said depressed.

“Are you okay,” she asked.

“Yeah, I was just practicing my routine. I don’t really want to practice anymore.”

“Why don’t you stop or at least take a break.”

“Midnight I can’t. it’s my special talent.” Once Sapphire said that Midnight didn’t know what to say anymore.

“You still remember how I got my cutie mark right,” asked Sapphire.

“Oh you know what I think I know, why don’t you tell me how.”

“Well I was eleven and I performed for..something and got my cutie mark. Don’t know how the clouds come in though.”

“Dear Celestia that is all wrong. Except for the eleven part. You were out with your parents to find gems. It was the first time you ever went with them. You saw your mom using magic to find the gems and your dad digging them up. You were so interested you were able to find and dig up gems. You were surprisingly better than your parents.”

“Whatever were you thinking,” asked Sapphire.

“I’m not just making this up. That’s how it happened.”

“Why are you making things up.” Sapphire started getting tense.

“Never mind. I..I gotta go.” Midnight wanted to stop the converstation before she got Sapphire mad.

“Oh Midnight if I upset you I...”

“No...No it’s fine.”

“Oh okay. Bye.”

“Bye.” Midnight walked away with her head down. She was upset because she couldn’t get through to all five of her best friends.

“Couldn’t get to her,” asked Rainbow. Midnight nodded. “Hey. Don’t worry. If you’re anything like your mother, you’ll figure something.”

“Thanks Auntie Rainbow.” Midnight walked all the way back to the castle, not knowing what to do now.
