//------------------------------// // Chapter Twenty // Story: Dream Come True // by APoeticHeart //------------------------------// The day at Ponyville Elementary seemed to go by at a snail’s pace to most of the students in Miss Cheerilee’s class who wore bored to death, but for Timmy, he was excited to learn. Due to the constant verbal and mental abuse he endured from his parents back on Earth, he never really had the opportunity to experience an education. Not only did they keep from going to school to learn new things, but he was also afraid to go, because he didn’t want the other kids to bully him about having abusive parents. Soon the bell for lunch would ring as Miss Cheerilee smiled warmly at her class “Alright kids, you all enjoy lunch and when you return, we shall work in this word problem I have written.” She pointed at the chalkboard, earning a collective groan from the students. “Yes Miss Cheerilee!” They all said in unison as they got up from their desks and started to trot out of the classroom. Timmy collected his notebook and pencil, placed them in his saddle bag that Rarity made for him for school, and got up from his desk. Along with his school supplies, he carried a small paper bag that held a lettuce and tomato sandwich Princess Luna made for him for lunch, and a carton of chocolate milk. As he was walking toward the door, Miss Cheerilee reached out and touched his shoulder gently with a hoof. She looked down at him with a warm smile “Hello Timmy, are you enjoying your first day of school so far sweetheart?” He returned the smile “I’m really liking it Miss Cheerilee! Momma said that I would learn many new things here and it’s fun!” Cheerilee smiled and giggled at the child’s enthusiasm “Well I’m glad that you’re enjoying it Timmy. If there is any lessons that you have problems in understanding or if you just need to talk, you can always come to see me either before or after school, okay?” She gave him a warm smile. “Yes Miss Cheerilee, I promise I will.” He returned the smile as he looked out the door to hear some of the fillies and colts laughing. “Now you go outside and enjoy your lunch Timmy. Have fun getting to know your fellow classmates.” She patted him gently on the shoulder as she trotted over to her desk. “So girls, what do yall want to do today to try and get our cutie marks?” Applebloom was munching on an apple and peanut butter sandwich while sat with her fellow crusaders at a table. Scootaloo sat across from Sweetie Belle and Applebloom eating tulip sandwich “Well, we could try parasailing. It always looks fun when I see ponies do it on the lake. However, we’ll have to find somepony to drive the boat for us.” She placed her hoof against her chin in a thinking manner. “Uh.. I don’t know about that Scootaloo.” Sweetie Belle looked concerned of the idea as she had a caesar salad prepared by her sister “That sounds a bit scary, especially being up that high in the air.” “Well, then Sweetie Belle, what do you think would be a good idea for cutie marks?” Scootaloo raised her arms up in the air as she chewed her sandwich. She realized that she snapped a bit at her “I’m sorry Sweetie, it’s just I’m tired of us not having our cutie marks yet.” “It’s okay Scootaloo, I understand. I’m tired as well, but it’s just hard to think of something when we’ve tried everything in the book, and failed.” Sweetie sighed heavily and laid her head on her hoof. As the three pondered about what to do to earn their cutie marks they saw Timmy come out of the school “Hey Timmy, over here buddy!” Applebloom waved over to the child and he gave a soft smile as he walked over to them. Scootaloo scooted over for him to sit beside her “Hey little guy, how are you liking school so far?” She gave him a warm smirk and patted him on his back with a hoof. He smiled happily at the three fillies “I’m really liking it! I’m learning so many new things that I did back home.” A sudden frown formed in his lips as he opened up the paper bag and pulled out his sandwich. The girls looked at each with concerned looks, but chose not to ask him any further questions that could upset him. Applebloom then lit up with a warm smile “Hey buddy, how would ya feel about maybe coming to the farm with us? We could show you the Cutie Mark Crusader Clubhouse and ya could become an official member, how does that sound?” He chewed at his sandwich before taking a swallow “That sounds like fun, but I would have ask my Momma if it’s okay. I don’t want her to worry about me going somewhere without letting her know.” They all three nod in understanding as they all enjoy their lunch together. Lunch time seemed to go by quietly for the four until Diamond Tiara along with Silver Spoon trotted “Hey there blank flanks, are you three still trying to come up with dead brain ideas to try and get your cutie marks?” She scoffed at the three and earned a laugh from Silver Spoon. “That’s an idea Diamond, they could get their cutie marks in brain surgery… but as the patients, because you three need brains.” A collective chuckle escaped from Diamond and Silver’s lips. Scootaloo huffed and stood up from her seat “Do you two want to go right now?” She stood up on her hind legs and held up her forelegs in a fighting manner “C’mon, I’m not scared of you to little rich snot rags!” Applebloom shook her head disapprovingly and sighed heavily “Calm down, wouldn’t ya Scootaloo? There is no sense in stooping down to their level.” She went back to eating her sandwich. “Yeah, why don’t you two just leave us alone for once?” Sweetie Belle looked at them with a mixed look of annoyance and frustration. Diamond scoffed “Because Silver and I enjoy making you girls feel miserable.” She giggled as she turned to see Timmy quietly eating his food “Oh, and you’re the new little freak that I saw walk into class earlier this morning.” A mischievous grin crept across her muzzle “Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Diamond Tiara and this you little runt is my school!” She glared at the boy. Timmy shook nervously at the comments Diamond made toward him as Scootaloo stepped in between them “Leave him alone Diamond! This is his first day of school for crying out loud and he doesn’t need the likes of you two prissy flanks ruining it for him. Now leave us alone or I’ll have to pulverize you!” She sneered at the two fillies. “Simmer down Scootaloo, we’ll just go tell Miss Cheerilee.” Applebloom looked at Diamond and Silver “If ya two don’t leave us alone, we’ll make sure Miss Cheerilee give you detention.” She swallowed a bite of her sandwich and glared at the two. Diamond waved a hoof at them “Whatever, we’ll leave you alone for now.” She then stared a hole through the child “But listen to me you little bug, if you dare get in my way, I promise to make you pay!” She huffed and fluffed her mane “Come Silver Spoon, we’ve spent enough time with these losers!” Silver Spoon nodded as they trotted away. Hurt by the harsh words Diamond spat at him, Timmy felt tears sting his eyes and a deep frown crept across his face. The girls noticed this and Sweetie Belle reached across the table to hold his hand in her hoof “Hey Timmy, don’t let those cruel things Diamond said to you, she’s just full of hot air.” She rubbed at his hand comfortably and gave him a soft smile. “Yeah buddy, we know exactly how she can be. We’ve been dealing with that varmint of a filly ever since we started coming to school. Don’t worry, we’ll protect ya.” Applebloom gave him a wink. “That’s right Timmy!” Scootaloo smirked and patted his back softly “Since they think they have all the money in all of Equestria, or nearly all the money, they think they can run over anypony they can.” She let out a low growl but then smiled warmly at Timmy to comfort him. He blinked his eyes to prevent himself from crying as he looked at each of them “Thank you Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, and Scootaloo for being my friends.” “Of course buddy, ya are a nice kid and we’re proud to be your friends.” Applebloom gave him a wink and smile as Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle nodded in agreement. The four laughed with each other and enjoyed the remainder of lunch together. At Canterlot Castle, the Elements of Harmony were gathered in the throne room where Princess Celestia decided to hold day court. Princess Luna sat beside her with a smirk of confidence on her muzzle “Wait til’ that rotten nephew of ours learn of his punishment Tia, he’s gonna be highly upset.” She placed her hoof up to her lips and let out a small giggle. Celestia smiled warmly and shared in the giggling “Haha.. I know Lulu, but I think this punishment will fit him for all that he’s done.” She gave her a wink. Soon the doors to the throne room opened and in trotted two of the royal sisters loyal guards with Blueblood in between them. His forelegs and hind legs were shackled as he drug his hooves along the tiled floor. The guards would pull at him to make him trot fast, earning a grunt of annoyance from the former prince. “Alright, alright you imbeciles, I’m moving!” He growled as he was led before his aunts. He slumped down on his haunches and sighed heavily. Celestia bowed her head at the guards “Thank you my loyal ponies, you may leave us.” They bowed their head in return and turned to exit the throne room, shutting the door behind them. Celestia looked down at her nephew with pity in her eyes “Dear nephew, do you understand why you were summoned here today?” Blueblood lifted his head and stared at her with his brows furrowed with frustration “Yes Aunt Tia, but what I do not understand is why are those buffoons doing here?” He motioned his horn toward the elements “They have no business in royal affairs such as my day of court and judgment.” He sneered at the six mares. Rainbow hovered toward him, pressing her muzzle against his “Do you want to go now jerk?!” She snorted in his face “You ought to be grateful that you aren’t rotting in Tartarus where a piece of dirt like you belong!” She turned and hovered back over to the group. “Calm yourself my friend, you’ll have your time to deliver your own brand of justice on my nephew soon enough.” Princess Luna gave Rainbow a smirk and then turned toward Blueblood who had a look of pure confusion etched over his face “What is it Blueblood, you look like you don’t understand what I just said?” “I certainly do not Aunt Luna, what do you mean by that the flying idiot will be able extract her own justice upon me?” He glared at Rainbow as she had a huge smirk on her muzzle. Celestia stomped her hoof against the floor “Silence Blueblood! You shall not speak ill will of the Elements of Harmony like that! Don’t you recall the many times they have saved Equestria, your home to make sure that YOU live safely and peacefully here!” She glared angrily at her nephew, but too in a deep breath to calm herself. Luna cleared her throat, but was impressed at the anger and frustration her sister showed toward Blueblood. She looked at Blueblood “Prince Blueblood, or former prince, you are guilty of foal endangerment, threatening the peace of Equestria, foalnapping, and attempting to persuade the innocent in your cruel plans. For that, my sister and I have decided that not only would you serve the rest of your life in the dungeons underneath the castle, but for the next six weeks, you will work as the personal servant for each of the Elements of Harmony.” He gasped and his jaw nearly dropped to the floor “WHAT?! You’ve got to be joking! Me become the servant to six no good hacks?! That has to be…” “SILENCE!” Luna used her royal canterlot voice as she stomped the tiled floor “You will do as you are ordered or we shall send you to Tartarus, do you understand?” Blueblood grunted and kicked at the floor angrily “Yes Aunt Luna.” He gritted his teeth. “And to make sure you do your tasks correctly as instructed by the elements, we have asked for Discord to keep his eye you.” Celestia smirked “Discord, are you here?” “You called your highness.” The draconequus soon appeared sipping a glass of ice cold lemonade. He gave a sly grin as he bowed his head toward the two sisters and elements “Hello my dear friends and your majesties.” He then looked at Blueblood and wrapped an arm around his neck “Hey Bluey, how are you buddy?” He chuckled. Blueblood shrugged off his arm “Leave me alone you idiot! And I told you once, my name is BLUEBLOOD, NOT BLUEY!” He growled. “Aw… what’s the matter Bluey, why so mad?” Discord used both hands to pinch and rub at Blueblood’s cheeks “Cheer up buddy, serving these six fine mares will be fun!” He clapped his hands together “And just imagine, I’ll be with you share in the fun!” He chuckled. Blueblood simply rolled his eyes “Oh goody.” He shook his head with annoyance and disapproval. Luna and Celestia giggled at the aggravation he was showing. Luna then cleared her throat “The first element that you will serve will be the Element of Honesty, Applejack.” She turned to look at the country mare “I’m sure that you and your family must need some help on the farm of Sweet Apple Acres?” Applejack tipped her hat and smirked at the former prince “Ya bet princess. Ah’m sure that we can put him to work on the farm.” She let out a chuckle. Celestia nodded “Then it is settled, Blueblood, you hereby as of this moment are under the command of the Elements of Harmony, if you so once disobey the orders they give you, then you shall be sentenced to live the rest of your life in Tartarus. Do you understand me?” She arched her eyebrow at him. He grunted and sneered “Yes Aunt Celestia, I understand.” Luna nodded and looked at the girls “Now that is settled, my friends, you all may leave if you wish or you may all venture through Canterlot. And I would like to ask all of you to write my sister and I letters on if Blueblood is serving his time obediently or if he is being rebellious.” “Yes your highness.” The girls said altogether and bowed their heads before starting to trot out of the throne room. Applejack grabbed the chain that was linked to the shackles around Blueblood’s forelegs “C’mon ya varmint, ya got some work to do!” She pulled at the chain and Blueblood had no choice but to follow. “Well your majesties, I shall keep my eye on Bluey, but for now I must go find me something good to eat.” Discord bowed to the royal sisters “Ciao for now!” With a snap of his talons he disappeared in a flash. Celestia smiled warmly at her sister “That was an impressive and very good choice of punishment Lulu. It’s going to be interesting to learn how the Elements of Harmony use their week in making Blueblood serve them.” She gave a blushing giggle. Luna nodded and giggled along with her “Thank you Tia, I learned from the best.” She smiled warmly and felt her stomach grumble “I concur with Discord, I believe I’m hungry as well dear sister. Why don’t you say we go see what the cooks have prepared for lunch?” “That sounds like a grand idea Lulu. I’m getting a little famished myself.” Celestia giggled and felt her own stomach grumble. Together the royal sisters left the throne room and headed toward the dining hall.
