Shortly after the rest of the group, Fluttershy and War Eagle knew this was the perfect time for them to actually have private time. During the school year, they didn't get many of those opportunities because of War Eagle's lacrosse schedule.
"So, how's your summer been so far?" asked War Eagle as they started walking towards the water.
"Nothing special really other then our trip to Boston for the previous round of the fashion show that Rarity is in." said Fluttershy.
"If Rarity is in a fashion show, what's she doing on the beach? I'd imagine she'd be working right now." said War Eagle.
"Oh that's not the Rarity we know and that goes to Canterlot High." said Fluttershy.
"What?" asked War Eagle with a confused look on his face.
"Oh it's a long story." said Fluttershy.
"Tell me this 'story'." said War Eagle as they got up to about waist level in the calm water.
"Ok, so did I ever tell you that Twilight is actually from another universe?" asked Fluttershy.
"Yeah I do remember you saying something about that." said War Eagle.
"Well so apparently her friends from that universe are exactly like me, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack. For our trip to Miami, Twilight brought the Rarity from her universe so we could have a Rarity to hang out with while our Rarity was preparing for her fashion show." said Fluttershy.
War Eagle then picked up Fluttershy and they kissed for about 20 seconds.
"That's sounds kind of complicated. It must be difficult telling them apart." said War Eagle.
"No not really. The Rarity that you saw a few minutes ago is the one from Twilight's universe. She's still trying to get a feel for the land in our universe." said Fluttershy.
A few minutes later, the human Rarity showed up and saw War Eagle and Fluttershy in the water. She quickly put her things in the tiki hut and joined them in the water.
"War Eagle! So good to see you! I see you found Fluttershy easily. Where's everyone else?" asked human Rarity.
"Oh, everyone except for Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Applebloom went to the other side of the beach for a volleyball game. Your sister and her friends went down to the sandbar." said Fluttershy
"Oh I thought I saw Twilight and the girls playing volleyball." said human Rarity.
"So how are things going for you and your fashion show?" asked War Eagle.
"Things are going great. I did almost all my prep so I didn't have to do a lot here on the day before the show and I could spend time with my friends in Miami. I wasn't really worried about spending time with my friends in Boston because there isn't a lot to do there." said human Rarity.
Not long after, the CMC came back from the sand bar.
"War Eagle! What y'all doing here?" asked Applebloom as she jumped into War Eagle's arms.
"Oh I'm in Miami for a lacrosse showcase and today is my day off and I heard you guys were in Miami for a fashion show Rarity is in so I decided this was the perfect opportunity for me and Fluttershy to have some alone time but I guess that's not the case anymore. But I'm sure happy to see you girls are doing well." said War Eagle.
"Are you coming back to Canterlot High next year?" asked Scootaloo.
"You bet I am. Let me remind you that we won a state championship. I decided it would only be right for me to return to Canterlot High for my senior year." said War Eagle.
"YES! WAR EAGLE IS COMING BACK!" said the CMC.

After about an hour of talking and hanging out, it was time for the girls to go to dinner and for War Eagle to head back to his team's hotel. Fluttershy and human Rarity along with the CMC were easily able to find the others and to find a taxi big enough to fit all of them. But before Fluttershy got in the taxi, she wanted to say good-bye to War Eagle for it probably the last time they would see each other until school began again after Labor Day weekend.
"I have a question for you. How much do you really love me?" asked Fluttershy as they got close to each other.
"I can't even start to tell you how much I love you. You're the most beautiful girl in all of creation. I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you Fluttershy. I'll see you when school starts again. Wondercolt pride." said War Eagle.
"Wondercolt pride. I'm gonna miss you so much. I don't know if I can wait to see you again for another two months. I love you." said Fluttershy and they hugged each other and started crying.
Eventually, Fluttershy got into the taxi and saw that Rainbow Dash was having the same reaction as her because her boyfriend was in the Air Force and she and Soarin' may not see each other for months. This made Fluttershy realize that the agony she was going through was nothing compared to Rainbow Dash's agony.
"You're so lucky to have such a caring boyfriend you get to see in just two months. It could be as much as a year before I get to see Soarin' again." said Rainbow Dash as she was crying on Fluttershy's shoulder.
"I know how you feel. It almost feels like I won't be seeing War Eagle for a long time too." said Fluttershy who started crying on Rainbow Dash's shoulder.
"Hey I hate to interrupt y'all during your nervous breakdown, but we have to get changed quickly for dinner." said Applejack.
Eventually both Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were able to stop crying and realized how grateful they were to have such great friends.
