//------------------------------// // Home // Story: Fluttershy's Pet Breezie // by Skylight77 //------------------------------// Fluttershy carried Rainbow Dash in her forelegs as she flew upstairs to take her to the bedroom. After the small bit of play time they had earlier, as Fluttershy would call it, the painful churning in Rainbow’s belly had subsided, thanks to the medicine. As a result, Fluttershy was taking Rainbow Dash to her room so that she could get some rest. Upon entering the room, the first thing Fluttershy did was fly to the bed so that she could set Rainbow Dash down. But as she was being set down, she seemed hesitant to get out of Fluttershy's forelegs. “Bed time already?” Rainbow Dash asked, holding annoyance in her tone as she glanced towards one of the windows leading outside. She could still see that there was daylight outside. “But, Celestia hasn’t even lowered the sun yet...” She tried to climb back into Fluttershy’s embrace, but Fluttershy nudged her further into the bed. “Now Rainbow Dash, I still have some chores to do around the house,” Fluttershy said while Rainbow Dash tried to push past the yellow hoof that was pushing her. “You’ve been a great help so far, but now you need your rest.” Seeing her breezie pet still resisting, Fluttershy moved her hoof to push Rainbow Dash into laying down. “But mom...” Rainbow Dash whined, letting her words represent how she was being treated. She attempted to keep her limbs standing, but Fluttershy’s hoof was too strong for her tiny body, causing her to drop her body on the bed. “Now now, Dashie,” Fluttershy cooed as she ran her hoof along Rainbow’s mane, “you don’t want another tummy ache, do you?” Rainbow Dash let out a small groan as her gaze shifted down towards the bed she was being pressed to lay on. She couldn’t help but blush embarrassingly with the cute word choices Fluttershy was expressing. She didn’t want to admit it, but Fluttershy did have a point. That ache in her stomach had exhausted her to the point that even if that hoof wasn't keeping her down, she still would have trouble getting back up. Sighing in defeat, she let her head drop to join the rest of her body, lying down with a frown. “That’s a good little breezie,” Fluttershy praised her pet by nuzzling her muzzle against Rainbow’s little cheek. Rainbow Dash's breath slowed down from the affection. It made her feel a little better, but she was still depressed by the conclusion. “Keep being good and you’ll deserve a nice treat.” Fluttershy finished with her sweet tone. ______________________________________________________________________________ Fluttershy soon left the bedroom area, leaving Rainbow Dash lying on the large bed alone. Rainbow Dash stared at the ceiling of the cottage, trying to get some shut eye due to her weakened form. But the sounds outside were preventing her from being able to sleep. It wasn’t because they were disturbing her, but rather they were attracting her attention. Rainbow Dash moaned slightly as she picked herself on her limbs, bringing her gaze towards the closed window leading outside. With delicate flapping of her large wings, she flew herself over to that window. Thankfully her belly no longer churned uncomfortably, but it almost felt like she would need more of medicine when the sight of the outside world came into her view. She landed her hind legs on the window sill, resting her fore limbs against the glass as she gazed outside. Her body yearned to be on the other side of that glass her hoof was sliding against. Rainbow Dash's right ear twitched as she watched all of the animals outside. They looked like they were enjoying themselves, playing outside as the pleasant breeze rustled through their fur. Rainbow Dash's large wings fluttered a bit as she moaned sadly at the sight, wanting to enjoy the taste of that outside air. Even if it was for her own safety, Rainbow Dash still wished that she could’ve at least been outside. It didn’t matter if she couldn’t exercise or move around anywhere, she just wanted to feel that refreshing wind blowing on her coat and wings. Her body tensed up when Fluttershy came into her view. Rainbow Dash watched Fluttershy’s mane blowing along with the breeze outside while she threw out food for the animals. Rainbow Dash didn’t care if she wasn’t allowed to help Fluttershy with the animals. As long as she was outside, she wouldn’t have minded the restrictions. “Oh, Fluttershy...” Rainbow Dash looked down as she pressed her forehead against the glass that separated her from the outside air. “Why couldn’t you have at least taken me with you?” She rubbed her forehead against the glass, closing her eyes as she thought back to the words Fluttershy had said earlier. It made sense why Fluttershy didn't take her, but she still felt so depressed by that fact. "Maybe this decision was a-..." Rainbow Dash winced, forcing herself to turn away from the window as she shook her head. She forced her mind to turn away from what she was thinking. Fluttershy ordered her to get some rest so that her stomach could settle a bit more, but now she couldn't even think about resting with that other thought in her mind, especially since her body was just too restless right now. Rainbow Dash let out a groan after she had managed to get that thought out of her mind. She really needed something to distract her right now so that it wouldn't come back. Letting her wings lift her in the air, she did the only thing she could think to do at the time. Since she wasn't going to sleep right now, she decided to search around the bedroom. If Rainbow Dash had any sort of relief, it was the fact that she could still move around and had plenty of space to fly. She glanced her eyes around the room as she flew around. She wasn’t exactly looking for anything, but there wasn't much else she could do at the time. But strangely, Rainbow Dash’s curiosity was pointed towards the ceiling areas. Not only were there nesting areas sitting high on the lumber that kept the cottage stable, there were also a few birdhouses as well. In fact, the birdhouses seemed to be the most common house type within this cottage. Rainbow Dash flew up to one of the birdhouses, the one closest towards the window and the bed. She sighed in awe as her interest was peaking. She couldn't resist tapping her hoof against the outer walls of the birdhouse as she floated. For some reason she was just oddly interested in this specific birdhouse. Her hoof was running along the walls as she flew around it, checking each side. “W-what am I doing...?” Rainbow Dash asked no one in particular as she hovered to the front of birdhouse. Her right ear started twitching again as she decided to check the interior of this birdhouse, looking through the hole that was more than big enough for a breezie of her size. However, due to the lighting, the interior of the birdhouse was quite dark. Rainbow Dash had to squint her eyes as she tried to focus her vision on what she could make out was inside. But while she was doing this, the twin antennas on her head flickered a bit before they suddenly lit up, illuminating the inside of the house. Rainbow Dash blinked before her eyes widened at the sudden light she was emitting. Her eyes shifted to the antennas that were on her head. She let her instincts put more focus on the antennas, causing them to dim down, and then brighten them back up. “Whoa... I didn’t know they could do that...” Rainbow Dash took advantage of this ability to see the interior of this house more clearly. She found that there was no sign of any other animal in here. There was a nesting bed inside, but no sort of fur or feathers decorating it, not even a smell. She couldn’t tell why she was so interested in it, but she just was. Suddenly, Rainbow Dash felt something hit against her tail. Her body flinched slightly before she removed her head away from the birdhouse’s entrance, her antennas dimming out almost immediately. “What the...” Rainbow Dash searched around the room for the source of whatever had hit her. But her question was soon answered when she caught sight of a certain bunny standing and tapping his foot on a desk next to Fluttershy’s bed. “Angel?” Rainbow Dash hovered down to the desk to meet up with him. “What’s the big deal?” she asked. Angel kept the stern look on his face as he pointed one of his crossed forepaws towards the ceiling behind Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash took a glance at the direction he was pointing to. Her eyes could only lead that Angel was pointing towards the birdhouse that she was checking earlier. "What about that birdhouse?" Rainbow asked as she looked back at Angel. Angel started doing his little charade signals. He pointed to the birdhouse then back at Rainbow Dash. He then put his paws together, tilting his head to the side with his paws under it, making a snoring sound. When he finished with his charade, Rainbow Dash looked back at the birdhouse, then back at Angel. "What? No. I don't wanna sleep now," Rainbow Dash replied. Angel just shook his head and repeated his charade. He pointed at the birdhouse then back at Rainbow Dash again. He then clasped his paws together, shaking them lightly in front of him while his expression frowned and his eyes pulsed pleadingly. He then did that same snoring motion with his body and finished it off by pointing back at the birdhouse. Rainbow Dash blinked before her head bounced with widened eyes. "Oh, you're asking if I want to sleep there?" Angel nodded his head with a smile. Rainbow Dash this time didn't move her head as only her eyes glanced towards the birdhouse’s direction. She had to take a moment to think before she returned her eye's focus back at Angel. Nervously rubbing the back of her right ear, she carefully responded. “I don’t know... that isn’t really my birdhouse.” All Angel did in response was pull something out that was somehow hidden behind the candle light on the desk they were on. It was a plate filled with all sorts of paint colors along with a few brushes. Angel seemed to be gesturing to Rainbow Dash to design the birdhouse to the way she liked it. Her head tilted backwards as she looked at that paint. “Are you sure Fluttershy wouldn’t mind?” The response made Angel growl with a scowl on his face. He rushed up to Rainbow Dash, slapping her across the cheek and forcing her head to turn towards the birdhouse. “Gack!” Rainbow Dash violently shoved Angel away, causing him to fall on the desk with a thud. “Alright, alright! I’ll take it! Yeash!” Rainbow Dash yelled before she took another look at the birdhouse, blowing steam out of her snout. She flew over to one of the brushes as she mumbled under her breath. "(Fluttershy, you're way off.)" Rainbow Dash spoke in her breezie language again so that Angel wouldn't understand what she had to say. "(Angel is nothing like me.") She took one of the brushes in her limbs and started carrying it. The brushes were surprisingly light to her, so it didn’t take her much effort to stroke the brush on the paint before flying up to the birdhouse. "(In fact, with the way he's acting now, he's more like Pinkie Pie on a bad day.)" ______________________________________________________________________________ Rainbow Dash spent the rest of the day painting the birdhouse to the way she liked it. It wasn’t too difficult to do and Angel was proving to be a big help. Somehow he had brought the plate of paint and brushes next to the nest that laid on the ceiling lumbers. There was even a cup of water up there for cleaning the brushes after each use. Rainbow Dash didn’t know how Angel did it, but she didn’t really care. Since they were up there, it made it all the more easier for her to design this birdhouse. Angel had been helping not only by washing the brushes after each use, but also taking close looks at the birdhouse for any spot that was missed or out of place from the colors Rainbow Dash used. But what Rainbow Dash was most surprised about was how Angel would offer a drink of fresh water or something to wipe her face of any sweat that came on her face as her mind worked through designing this birdhouse. She had no idea where Angel was getting everything, but just like Pinkie, it was best to not question it. In fact, Rainbow Dash couldn't even compare Angel to Pinkie now. Right now he was being more like Rarity with all of this design and fashion knowledge. The only thing that was bothering Rainbow Dash right now had everything to do with Angel. His behavior was very different compared to her first impression, yet somehow the same in certain areas. Rainbow Dash also really wanted to ask what was up with that event that happened this morning, but it seemed best to leave it alone for now. After all, it seemed as if it was thanks to Angel that she was getting her own birdhouse now. The birdhouse looked very nice to Rainbow Dash when she was done painting. The roof of the house was painted entirely red while the rest of the outer walls were painted with a cyan color that matched her coat. On both sides of the house, there was a lightning bolt with a large red outline to it. Inside the lines held the many different colors of the rainbow that striped it from top to bottom. "Awesome," Rainbow Dash said as she took in the design of this birdhouse with a bright smile on her face. She had a reason to be interested in it now, but she still couldn't figure out why she was in the first place. Her right ear continued to twitch as she thought about this interest. Maybe because it felt more like home being able to sleep in higher ground like this. Or maybe it had something to do with her breezie instincts. “Oh...” While in the middle of her thought, Rainbow Dash’s eyes suddenly flicked open when she felt something soft rubbing against the back of her right ear. “A-ahh... ha...” Her body started melting under the relaxing feeling. It felt like it was a feather that was gently rubbing the back of her ear. Rainbow Dash’s body started floating slowly down as that feather brought a warm feeling to rush along her body. She could hear a soft giggling coming from behind her as her body practically forced itself to float down. She could recognize that giggling anywhere. It was Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash didn’t even realize she had entered the room. Her body shivered at the relaxing touch, causing her to lose her grip on the brush and drop it. Fluttershy was leading her towards the bed as the strength in her body was leaving her to just relax, making her lose altitude. Rainbow Dash’s mouth hung open before her limbs managed to touch the bed. The feeling of Fluttershy’s wing tip gently rubbing along the back of her right ear was making her drool. It felt very different from the rest of the contacts that Fluttershy had given her before, giving her a sudden sense of deja vu. “Oh, Dashie, you cute little thing.” Rainbow Dash could hear more giggling coming from Fluttershy after she heard those words. She felt that wing tip move itself away as her body collapsed down on the bed. Turning her body over, Rainbow Dash kept her eyes closed, panting as she nuzzled the back of her head against the bed. That odd feeling on her ear that she didn’t realize she had, went away. “Oh Rainbow Dash, did you do this all by yourself?” Rainbow Dash slowly opened her eyes to look towards the direction of Fluttershy’s voice. She could see that Fluttershy was referring to the birdhouse that she had just finished painting. “It looks wonderful!” Fluttershy finished with delight. “*Pant* unh...” Rainbow Dash tried to say something, but was too breathless to do so. Confusion filled her mind when one of the words Fluttershy said registered to her. “Oh, if only I had been here sooner, I would’ve loved to help you do this.” More confusion hit Rainbow Dash when she heard Fluttershy say that. She looked around the area where the lumber that hanged on the ceiling was at. Angel was nowhere to be seen, once again. Fluttershy's attention was brought back to Rainbow Dash. There seemed to be a small box balanced on her back that she reached for with her muzzle, bringing it in front of her. She carried it in her fore hooves while she floated just above her breezie pet with a smile. “I think you deserve your treat now.” Rainbow Dash’s breath moaned in awe at the sight of the box that Fluttershy was opening and showing her. She hadn’t thought much when she heard the mention of a treat earlier, but it looked like Fluttershy was keeping her word with it. Before Rainbow Dash could find anything to say, Fluttershy placed the opening of the small box towards Rainbow Dash’s mouth, pouring a small amount of the contents inside. Rainbow Dash’s eyes closed as she took in the taste. The treat was apparently many celery sticks that had also been chopped up to the point where they were more than just bite size for a breezie like Rainbow Dash. She chewed the celery as they entered her mouth, giving a pleasant moan at the taste of them. After Rainbow Dash swallowed the first batch, Fluttershy picked her up and wrapped her close with a foreleg. Rainbow Dash snuggled on her back in the embrace of the foreleg as Fluttershy moved the box back to her mouth to continue the feeding. “Eat up, Rainbow Dash. This was made especially for you,” Fluttershy said in a sing songy voice. She stood on her hind legs while her wings kept her balanced to feed her little breezie her treat. Rainbow Dash moaned at the deliciousness that was pouring into her mouth. The celery sticks were chopped down so small that she was able to swallow them whole as soon as they entered her mouth. The lumps of the food she was swallowing could be seen sliding along her neck and disappearing when they reached her belly. Fluttershy gave a few pauses with feeding Rainbow Dash, giving her a chance to chew her food and let her stomach settle before she continued pouring more food into Rainbow’s mouth. This was to prevent her from choking on her food. Rainbow Dash let large moaning breaths leave her snout as the food filled her belly, causing it to expand slowly. She was amazed at all of the things that Fluttershy had been doing for her. She wasn’t sure whether she was more surprised by how Fluttershy found the time to make this treat for her, or the fact Fluttershy had this custom made specifically for her in the first place. Regardless, she continued to mindlessly swallow the sweet celery as they were poured into her mouth. "Oh Dashie, you are such a cute little breezie. Yes you are." Rainbow Dash was too engrossed by the treat she was being fed to understand what Fluttershy was saying. Fluttershy's words practically turned into a relaxing melody to her ears. With her eyes closed, yet ears open, Rainbow Dash's only focus was the melody that relaxed her soul while a delicious treat that was sliding down her throat penetrated her taste buds, continuously expanding her belly as she was fed. ______________________________________________________________________________ Off in the sidelines, Angel watched as Fluttershy fed Rainbow Dash with that box of celery. He more so paid attention to Rainbow and how her belly continued to expand due to the fact that she was just taking in all of the food that she was being fed. Angel put a paw on his forehead and shook his head, letting a soft audible groan escape his nose. He couldn't stand the sight of Fluttershy treating Rainbow like this. Angel left the area with one thought in mind. He had to try harder. ______________________________________________________________________________ Fluttershy pulled the box away one last time to stop the feeding, leaving Rainbow Dash to happily chew what remained in her mouth. Rainbow Dash let out a delighted moan after swallowing that last batch. The feeling of her filled belly really satisfied her soul. She could feel her belly churn a little in an odd way, but it didn’t discomfort her. It did however cause her to let out a large belch, causing her head to jump. She gave a content sigh after plopping her head back down in Fluttershy's embrace afterwards. Fluttershy giggled as she looked closely at her pet snuggling in her foreleg. She used her other hoof to lightly brush along the long flowing rainbow mane of her pet. "Looks like somepony really loved her little treat. But it looks like she needs her beauty sleep now." Rainbow Dash could hear that melody again. Her foreleg was slumped around her enlarged belly, slightly bouncing up and down due to her careful breathing. She had never felt so satisfied with such a delicious treat filling her belly like this. Fluttershy helped her breezie pet fly up to the recently painted bird house that represented Rainbow Dash so well. Rainbow Dash was a bit disoriented when she was set inside. With half opened eyelids, her body stumbled a bit to adjust to the extra weight of all that celery within her belly. Fluttershy soon came back to the birdhouse with a small blanket and pillow in hoof that matched as a size for Rainbow Dash's breezie form. The birdhouse already contained a nest as a bed for her, so the blanket and pillow were the only other things she needed. After Rainbow Dash had managed to make her way to the nest, Fluttershy inserted the blanket and pillow inside the birdhouse and laid them on the nest. She tucked Rainbow Dash in, getting her head to rest on the pillow, allowing her wings to curl so that her whole body could be tucked comfortably underneath the blanket. “Good night, Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy said in a soothing tone. “Welcome to your new home,” she finished before moving away from the bird house. Rainbow Dash snuggled into her nest as she thought about what Fluttershy said. It just now occurred to her that Fluttershy practically gave this birdhouse to her as a home. It was almost as if Fluttershy had prepared it specifically for her and Fluttershy just waited for her to get settled into it. That almost made sense to Rainbow Dash, except for the fact that she herself was the one who ended up painting it. Not to mention it wasn’t prepared with a pillow or a blanket before she went into it. Maybe this birdhouse was just prepared for any animal that took an interest in it. If they wanted it, Fluttershy would allow them to live in it, as long as no other animal had occupied it before then. And Rainbow Dash was that very animal that took a liking to it. Rainbow Dash slumbered off into a deep sleep with a bright smile on her face. She was a bit depressed about not being able to be outside for as long as she wanted. But Fluttershy more than made up for it with those pampering treatments. The more she did them, the more Rainbow liked them. Even if she couldn't go outside, those petting moments would keep her happy.
