//------------------------------// // What Happened? // Story: My little Minecraft : Steve Adventures // by Ignis Consumens Est //------------------------------// I slung my diamond pickaxe onto my shoulder and walked down the corridor, intent in making another mineshaft. My mine was decent to say. I have collected 32 Iron ore and 2 stacks of coal. Pretty decent if you ask me. The mine itself was also pretty good looking. With its cool looking support beams, even though unnecessary as blocks just float in the air, was very good for the eye. I unconsciously began to randomly hum a tune. As I walked down the corridor, still humming that tune, I spotted movement in one of the branches. Being Steve the Curious, I decided to check it out. As I neared the branch, more movement appeared. It was a blur, like it was too fast. I tilted my head, trying to process what I'm seeings. It was too small for a hurt Enderman, and it was too big to be an ocelot. I tried to touch it, but recoiled due to it's fast movements. It felt like rushing water, but 50x faster. Try to imagine that. Anyway, the thing just kept moving, side by side, not really trying to escape from me. I discarded the idea of a hostile mob, as it hadn't even showed signs of hostility towards me. It might as well be a passive or peaceful mob. The thing showed no signs of stopping, it's a wonder why it hadn't crashed through the walls yet. Seeing as this was a very experienced runner, I put my hand on my chin, trying to figure out how to catch the things so I could study it. Whatever it was it would make for a very good speed training. I scratched my chin, still thinking of an idea to capture it. A one block drop? Nah, it would probably escape it. Hit it? Probably would hit me back. Maybe- no, not enough items, what if.. My brain kept firing ideas at me, which were useless for this fast thing. I can't do anything to catch it with just a normal plan. Suddenly, I had a brainwave, I remembered that I still had that lava bucket with me, from my troll with Perseus.(don't ask, he's very sensitive) I grabbed my lava bucket and positioned myself, trying to time it just right. One.. Two.. Three.. GO! I placed the lava, effectively making the thing catch on fire, it ran around in a panic, or probably because it can't stop. I'll take the second reason. The lava continued to flow, slowly making it's way towards me. I tried to scoop it with my lava, but it disappeared from my inventory. After I found that out, I thought What is happening? Why Murphy, why! Yes, there is Murphy law on my world. Anyway, the thing still kept running around, the lava was still flowing, and it's getting near me. Then I remembered what kind of lava bucket was that. --2 days ago-- "Hey, Steve!" Perseus called. "What is it?" I ask. "Buy this kind of lava for the troll, the bucket disappears after use, and can't be blocked by blocks as it would only multiply! The only thing that can stop it is water!" "This is gonna be golden!" I squeal. "But I also have a bad feeling about this.." --Present-- I cursed, thinking just exactly why I just so not brought a water bucket but instead brought that kind of lava instead. I stepped back continuously until I hit a wall. I looked back, seeing as how the exit wasn't there. Shit, I thought. The exit was on the other side of the shaft, blocked by lava, how I got on the other side of the shaft, I don't know, but it was troll-worthy. The lava reached me, hurting me and burning me to death. My before I died was I'm gonna respawn right? Right? --- Fluttershy is tending to the animals, feeding them green goodies. One bunny though, was tapping his foot on the ground, waiting for something Fluttershy forgot. Angel bunny is chittering Gimme my salad! to Fluttershy, who was standing in front of him. "Oh, but Angel bunny," she said. "We don't hav-" She was cut short by a thunder clap outside her house. The animals immediately skittered to their hiding places with Fluttershy, who, like all the animals were shivering with fear. Eventually, she gathered her courage and walked out, calling out to the animals she said. "Oh little critters, it was nothing scary, just a teensy weensy thunder clap." The critters walked out, still nervous about the thunder clap. Fluttershy too, was nervous. Because she knew there wasn't supposed to be a storm scheduled for today. She looked out her window, staring at the sky. Sure enough, not a single storm cloud was in sight. What was that? She didn't dig deeper into it though. Her courage could only go far enough to her animals. --- Twilight was studying a spell, when suddenly a thunder clap was heard over the Everfree Forest. She yelped, losing concentration over the spell. She had just almost finished the spell. It was a summon spell. It was supposed to summon items from all over Equestria with just enough magic to call onto anything, Darnit, now I need to redo it again. She thought. But she immediately put it aside when she yawned. Nevermind, rest it is. She walked into her bedroom, and flopped onto the bed Sleep was already creeping into Twilight's mind, but unlike all the other days she practiced, she welcomed it with open hooves. She didn't even think of the mysterious thunder clap. --- I woke up, immediately hitting my head in a tree branch. I yelped, scratched my head, and wondered where I am. In front of me, in a 5 block radius were all blocks, but the others, were curved. What. I thought, confused about this sorcery. There are no curves in Minecraftia. I stood up and examined my surroundings. Like I said earlier, 5 block radius = blocks, the rest are not. I took a step forward, and the blocks moved. I looked back, and there were 2 blocks length, not 3. This isn't Minecraftia, obviously. But my physical nature makes everything in a 5 block radius blocky, whilst the rest are not. I thought. But if I'm not in Minecraftia.. Then where am I? I racked my brain for answers, trying to get a clue. Before my death, I was being burned to death by that troll lava, but that was all I could muster, the other memories served no purpose. I continued to walk forward, trying to find settlements. Surely a new world like this must be habited. Night was peeking. Night means danger, as it usually gets monsters out of their hiding places. I was immediately alarmed, and I summoned a few cobblestone to make for a noob tower. I towered up into a tree, and lay my head on the blocky leaves. I sighed, thinking everything I've been through to just die to some stupid troll lava. But I got into more important things in hand. Where am I and what happened?
