Long ago, there was a pony, by the name of Dread Maker, whom ponies called the pony of fear. Ponies feared her due to her threatening them by saying "If you dare try to turn me in, this tutu will curse you for eternity.". Ponies kept not going near her castle in concept fear of the consequences. However, one day, a pony came and entered his castle As soon as Dread Maker was about to put it on the pony, she was stopped by the mysterious pony and died upon defeat

Many days have passed, and details about Dread remain anonymous. days and nights have passed. Ponies say her castle became haunted with her spirit.

However, nopony knows what ever happen to Dread Makers cursed tutu, some say it disappeared, some say he hid it, some say it vanish. Noone to this day knows what happened to it, and where its being held. However, it all changed upon this very day...



Rainbows fantasy and the merchant


In Ponyville, in a cloudhouse, Rainbow is seen sleeping in her bed. and a book lying by her side. A picture of a lavender Alicorn was seen on the night stand near the bed. At this point, The pegasus woke up shock and gasping, What a nightmare. Rainbow thought to herself as she was rubbing her eyes as she looked at the clock. She then realized she didn't have weather patrol duty today, it was her free day. She then got up and fed her pet tortoise, and proceeded to make a cup of coffee. She then sat down and looked outside. Man, a good day today, I guess that means me and Twilight would be having are little special day today. Rainbow thought to herself.

At that moment, she drank her cup of coffee and smiled to herself. usually, Rainbow never felt like in these moods ever since she was a filly living with her parents in Cloudsdale. But what was on her mind, was something she knew she had kept a secret from the public. She had a fantasy. A fantasy, like no other. She had interest in dancing in a tutu. To Rainbow, she knew this was the only thing she never wanted any pony to find out about. It was the only not cool thing she like

As she finished her coffee, she put the cup in the sink and washed it.She then sighed. "Ugh, I want to live my fantasy." She said.

At that moment, she decided to dance. As she dance, she then felt something was missing. Something that would make it fun. She stopped dancing and sighed. As she looked outside, she saw the town, and something caught her eye. A traveling merchant was in town. But, what caught her attention, besides what was on sale, was another thing that was on sale. It was a pink tutu.

As Rainbow looked back, she began to imagine herself wearing it while in her home. She giggled and smile. "That's it, I will buy that." She said to herself.

Deciding not to hesitate, she got her bits, and got prepared to go to town. As she left, she had to make sure to not let any of her friends know about her secret. She then took off and head to ponyville. As she was flying, she began to think to herself. She knew she didn't do this in secret in a long time ever since she was a filly. She remembered she tried her best to hide it from her mom and dad.

At that moment, she approached the town. She saw Applejack at the market, which she had to be aware of her. At that moment, she approached the merchant. The merchant was a unicorn mare, with a light blue coat, and a red and orange mane. She looked at Rainbow. She was surprised, it seemed she got a customer. "Oh, you must want to buy what I have?" She said nicely

Rainbow nodded

"Well, I have a lot of good things. What would you like to buy?"

Rainbow then pointed at the pink tutu. At that moment, she used her magic and bought it to the counter. "Oh, this. Well, to tell you, a strange pony gave it to me. I washed it and got it prepared to be sold. But, you don't like a type of mare that is interested in this. May I ask why?" She asked

"Well.... its my fantasy... I uh... you know, don't want others to know."

"Ah, so you do it in secret, I get ya. Well, it costs 25 bits."

Rainbow nodded and got the bits and paid the mare. She then handed it to Rainbow, and Rainbow smiled. "Thank you miss." Rainbow thanked.

"My name is Stock Sales."

"Rainbow Dash."

Stock nodded and smiled. "Thank you for your purchase Ms. Dash. If you ever want to find me, I'll be in Canterlot."

Rainbow nodded and then took off for home. Stock remained in Ponyville to continue selling for the hour.


Beginning of the curse


Back at Rainbows house. Rainbow could be heard laughing in her bedroom. She just put on the pink tutu ten minutes ago and was dancing. On her bed were plushies of the wonderbolts. Rainbow was dancing like crazy, doing pirouettes and spins, and lot of other moves. She missed doing this.

As an hour passed, and Rainbow decided to take the tutu off. As she tried to pull the tutu off, she felt something. It felt like it was stuck on her. Rainbow then tried to pull it down again, no luck. She tried a third time, nothing happened. At this point she tried to cut it off, but the scissors did nothing. "Wh-what the?" Rainbow said flabbergasted.

She then tried to pull it off again. "Ugh, come on, ugh, why won't you come off?"

As she let go, she started to pant. It was stuck. She then started to feel scared. She is supposed to meet Twilight at 3pm, but this started to not go right. Rainbow knew She can't go outside in a pink tutu, she'll get laughed at.

But, as it was all to quick, for an unknown reason what so ever. Rainbow started to dance. Rainbow wasn't moving her legs on her own. It made her feel like she was a puppet. For an unknown reason, Rainbow began to try to stop herself, but couldn't. "Somepony, help." Rainbow cried. But no reply. However, she then started to dance towards the door. It now made her feel fear. "No, no. Somepony, help!"


Elsewhere


In Canterlot, Celestia, and Discord were seen in the dinning hall of Canterlot palace. They were seen eating. Since the incident with Tirek fully reformed him, and everypony forgave him, he resided at Canterlot palace until his estate was made.

During the time they were eatting, Discord was talking to Celestia about his plans about heading to ponyville due to a promise hangout with Fluttershy. Knowing Celestia, Celestia felt happy that Fluttershy was Discords first friend and reformed him to vowing to use his chaos for good.

However, feeling like its all sudden, Discord felt weird. He was breathing heavily, and dropped his glass of Chocolate milk. The guards, and Celestia noticed, and Celestia ran to Discord side. "Discord, are you okay?" Celestia said in a worried tone.

At this point, Discord looked like he felt something weird. As it was to quickly, he realize it was something dealing with a pony he knew in the past. A pony he knew before his reign of Chaos. He couldn't believe it. "Oh no." Discord said in shock.

"What is it Discord."

"I...It can't be. I thought that was long gone."

"What?"

"It's a pony I know who is wearing a cursed tutu. How can it be still around?"

Celestia rose an eyebrow. She knew Discord love playing pranks, but is thinking this is one of em. "Are you pranking me?" Celestia asked with a smirk.

"Save your humor for later Celestia. Rainbow is in danger. She just wore Dreads cursed tutu for for a whole hour. This is bad."

Celestia looked confused "Dread?"

Discord then explained who Dread was. As he explained, Celestia eyes rose in horror. She didn't remember that type of pony. As she listened, she could tell Discord wasn't lying, he was telling the truth. As he concluded his story of Dread, Celestia was stunned. In her years of being princess of Equestria, she never knew a pony would do such a thing, even creating a indestructible item. Her first thought was to tell Twilight, but see in Rainbow is cursed, She had no choice. Unfortunately for he, she had to have Discord do it. She told Discord to go gather Twilights friends, and get Rainbow.

Discord nodded and left. He had to do this. He had to do it for his friends. Celestia now was hopping for them to find the counter spell.



Getting Rainbow


Discord then appeared in front of Fluttershys cottage. Knowing this is now a important matter. He had to gather his friends and call an emergency meeting at Twilight palace. Knowing that Rainbow is in trouble with the cursed tutu, he had to go to Fluttershy to have her gather the others.

As he approached the door. He knocked on it. "Fluttershy? Are you home?" Discord asked.

At that point, Fluttershy opened the door and saw Discord. She put a smile on her face and hugged Discord. She hasn't seen him since Tirek was on the service. As she looked at him, she continued to smile. "You came to have some time for tea and cooked?" Fluttershy asked with a squee.

"Sadly Fluttershy, we have to cancel our promised tea time. a serious matter just happened."

Fluttershy looked curious.

"I need you to gather your friends. Something serious just happened."

Fluttershy gasped in surprise. This was all sudden, even since what they been through with the whole Tirek mess. It was like time was flying fast. "What happened?" Fluttershy asked

"I'll explain when you get your friends to Twilights palace."

"I'l go get Rainbow Dash first..."

"Leave her to me. go get the others and go to Twilights palace."

Knowing Discord, Fluttershy knew she had to listen. She told her critters she had to go out. She then ran her way to go get her friends. Discord, however teleported to Rainbows location. As he teleported to where she was he gasped. "Oh no." He said. He then walked up to Rainbow, whom was dancing and she saw him. "Is that you Discord?" Rainbow said surprised.

"The one and only." Discord Replyed as he caused a mirror to appear and looked into it.The Mirror cracked as he said, "Hmm, looks like I need to shave."

"Ugh, No time for games Discord. Can you please help?"

Discord then used his magic to vanish the mirror. He knew their was no time to goof around. It was a serious issue. He knew that he had to bring Rainbow to Twilights palace. He then walked up to Rainbow and used his magic to grab her, which stopped the dancing due to her being grabbed by magic. "Rainbow, I need to take you to Twilights palace." He said in a serious tone.

Are you crazy? I'm not going there in this."

"Do you want the tutu off or not? I have to bring you Twilights palace. I will explain about it, you also need to know. Unless you want that stuck on you forever."

Rainbow then remained silent. She began to wonder, Does Discord know something about it? Knowing that she needed answers, she had no other choice. Discord then grabbed her and teleported.


Discords story


At the palace, The mane 5 were waiting. This was unexacting. They weren't expecting something to happen, even after what happened with the Tirek mess. During the time, they began to wonder what was going on, and why Discord had to get Rainbow.

At that point, A flash happened, and Discord appeared. He saw that everypony was there. He let out a relief. Twilight looked at Discord with a look of confusion. She felt like Discord did something and hid it from them, like when Ponyville was being overrun by Plunder vines and the tree of harmony wilting. "Why did you call us Discord?" Twilight asked all confused.

"It's Rainbow." Discord said as she shown Rainbow.

"Were you invading privacy?"

"No, you don't understand, Rainbow got cursed and bound to that tutu. It's cursed."

The mane 6, even Rainbow Dash gasped. "What?" they all said.

At that moment, Discord put Rainbow to the ground and used his magic to make Rainbow stay in place. To Rainbow, it seemed Discord was doing it so she doesn't move around uncontrollably. Rainbow knew that she had to thank Discord for doing it. But she had to let him explain what was happening to her. "It's a curse from Dread Maker." Discord said

Twilight rose her eyebrow. She wasn't familiar with the name. She never heard of a pony by that name. No record of that pony was seen in any of the books in the library before it was destroyed. It almost felt like that pony remained Anonymous “Who?” Twilight said.

At this point, Discord pulled out an adress book. He then put on his glasses, and went through the book. As he went through it, he was saying names of ponies, or other beings. As he went through the d’s he the mane 6 were waiting for what he finds. At that moment, he found the page. “Ah, here it its, Dread.”

Discord then cleared his throat and began to read.

Dread Maker was a unicorn mare whom was very evil. During her life, she was well known as the pony of fear. The reason for her nickname was because ponies feared to go near her castle in the outskirts of fillydelphia. She threatened ponies with a pink tutu that she made and cursed with a eternity spell, and made it indestructable. Ponies feared her and the tutu due to its cursed. One pony however managed to break in to her castle, and when they were threaten, they ended Dread whom died due to magic shots. However, it is said that she created a counter spell and hid it in her castle. It is now said that her castle is haunted by her ghost, and threatens anypony who goes there.

Upon finishing, the mane 6 were shocked. Dread Maker was a pony who used forbidden spells, and illegal spells. That had to be most surpising thing. But, the most shocking thing, was the fact the tutu was cursed. The five then saw Rainbow trembling. They could tell she was scared now. “NO!, there has to be a way to take this off. I dont want to be stuck wearing this.” Rainbow said shakily

At that point Twilight walked up to Rainbow and put a hoof on her shoulder, and hugged her. Even though this was serious, she didnt want to see her friend have a nervous breakdown. As she was calming Rainbow down, Applejack looked at Discord in concern. “What will happen to her? What are the curses effects?” Applejack asked curiously

“Sadly….. I’m not sure, All I know is that that tutu is cursed. You will find out. All I know is she has 72 hours until the curse is complete and…….and….”

“And what?”

“She’ll fall into the abyss of it, and lose consciousness and she’ll be gone.”

At this point, Twilight turned and looked at Discord. This now just became a race against time. Twilight knew other spells wont work, since it has one counter spell and one only. Without hesitating, she looked at Discord. “Come with us, we need to find the castle.” Twilight insisted

“Oh hoho no no no. I’m not going there. I dont want to be trapped there. Besides I vowed not to return their after something happened.”

Applejack crooked an eyebrow and looked at him. Judging by his voice, she can tell he was terrified of going there. Knowing him,  she knew he wont let his guard down easily. However, Discord gave em a map with the location of Dread Makers castle. Discord released Rainbow, whom started dancing. At that point, Twilight realize they would have to deal with it.

As they were getting prepared for their trip to find the counter spell, Fluttershy asked Spike to take care of the critters while shes gone, Rarity had to close down her shop, Pinkie had the week off, Applejack told Big Mac to take care of the work for her while she is gone, and Twilight had to make her palace off limits while she was gone.

The mane 6 then headed to the train station, and got tickets. They were now going, on a journey, to save their friend.
