Chapter 2: The Site
Sky opened the book to the most recent page it had all kinds of information surrounding the orb it was called the Pegasus Stone and it causes supernatural weather even without the help of Pegasus such as Hurricanes, Cyclones and freak thunderstorms but these could only happened if it were activated.
This was all new information to Sky Feather and Cloud Spark also took a lot of other ponies on the train because of the fact cloud screamed WHAT. But there was more down the page it could only be activated by a very powerful magic that alicorns cannot perform but Unicorns could with a huge amount of magic studies and involved taking the soul of multiple Pegasus to power it.
All of a sudden the train had arrived at the station, Cloud Spark and Sky Feather then got off of the train and asked a nearby earth pony for directions to the nearby rock farm he replied 4 kilometers and to the right thanks replied Sky. They began to fly towards the dig site when they arrived there was the orb floating above the site just shining in the air with a humongous crowd of ponies surrounding it.
They floated suspended in the air flapping their wings when the orb turned a dark red color and exploded pieces of it flew everywhere who knew where it had all gone probably all over Equestria.
The crowd disbanded at a fast rate with ponies screaming afraid to be hit in the head with a shard of the orb. Slowly the town calmed down for nothing had happened to anypony so they had just gone back to their homes just encase. Sky and Cloud had not been scared they just floated quietly to the ground.
They walked over to where there were a few archaeologist ponies standing around near where the orb had risen. Sky asked what they knew about this Pegasus Stone that was floating in the sky. They basically said the same thing that was written in their father’s journal they then asked if they knew where their parents were unfortunately they did they explained that they had been swept up in a hurricane everypony believes it was caused by the Pegasus Stone. Their parents had been found but not so much alive. “Your parents are dead.” said the head of the dig “They were found just outside of the dig we really tried everything we could we even called in the Wonderbolts to control the hurricane but nothing was good enough to control it. We are so deeply sorry” continued the head of the site.
Suddenly a deep blue Pegasus emerged from the tent with a brown and blue mane. “Hello i am on work experience here at the site and your parents were my mentors. I grew quite close to them they treated me like a daughter they never had.” Exclaimed the Deep blue Unicorn.
Sky and Cloud could not believe what they just heard. “I must find them.” said Cloud Spark “Find what” said Sky. “The shards.” replied Cloud. Sky volunteered to help. And without any notice so did The Unicorn. “Excuse me but what is your name” Questioned Sky. “Sapphire” she replied “well if our parents were your mentors then I bet you could be ours.” Said Cloud Spark.
