"Oh shut it Discord I'm doing just fine without your help!" Luna was screaming as she turned her focus back to where it was needed.
"Aw Luna I'm afraid you may need his help for this one.... prepare to die!" The sentence had been delivered from a strange figure wearing a hoodie. Then it all went black.
"Hey Discord I think the power went out can you go check it out? Also Cadance we're just playing video games why are you dressed like that?" The royal voice of Luna rang out into the darkness seeming unfazed.
Discord somewhat having no choice obliged and walked out the room and down the castle stairwell to the power room. "The power wouldn't have gone out if you weren't spamming and clicking buttons so much!" He casually exhaled those words as if it were a sigh.
The two girls had sat in the darkness for a while, enjoying each others comfort. Then BAM!
"Luna!.... What was that?" Princess Cadance had flinched out the first word and uttered the last few.
Although Luna was already gone checking out the window which the sound had come from. Suprisingly it was one of the game room windows. "It's nothing...." Luna turning on her heel trying to forget it with that statement.
"I-I'll go check on Discord if you don't mind Luna!" Cadance's sentence showed obvious fear, and Luna didn't want to push her anymore than she already had.
"Alright.... watch your step. There's very little lighting around the place, stay near the torches." Luna calmly explained with a smile on her face to keep Cadance from freaking out as she left the room.

"Dang this Generator.... looks like it fried. How? I doubt Luna was clicking that much to do thi-." Discord having felt a tugging sensation in his stomach stopped his sentence in its tracks. He felt something going on..... or coming.... not something large in numbers. Though it was strong. "I have to warn them!" He said with realization leaving the castle basement to the main room to run up the stairwell. This was horrible, Luna had shut off all magic in the castle in frustration thinking Cadance had cheated in the game. If someone were to attack now there would be trouble! He reached the stairwell and stopped to the sound of three knocks on the door. He had caught sight of Cadance and gave her the signal to lay low. He didn't know how you could hide on a stairwell but she did it by laying flat on her stomach. It might have been uncomfortable but it was the best she could do. With that... Discord slowly walked to the door the knocks growing louder each time and the visitor seeming more impatient each knock. Discord took his sweet time knowing that friend or foe.... this person was dangerous.

Luna was staring at the doorway in disbelief. Watching the figure come closer and closer to her, eyes widening. Her breathing had stopped. The sight of Discord holding a basket of cookies and sandwiches was too breathtakingly hilarious. With Discord feeling ridiculed he swiftly explained what happened along with Cadances occasional, yes this happened.
"So you two.... are trying to tell me! That Fluttershy had come all the way over here to deliver that.... and nearly set off the castle alarm due to the amount of energy she was pent up with since she didn't release any. Since she was so focused on that?! Oh you're hilarious!" Luna had trouble with saying so sarcastically since all she was doing was laughing it up.
"Yes... but I have to say.... her presence did feel different. My heart was telling me to trust her though.... my heart may have been lying, maybe I should have trusted my gut." Discord waved his hand measly as if that was as easy to admit as it was to wave his hand. Putting the basket down on the table behind him.
Darkness had risen from the basket behind Discord taking shape. "Then if your heart lies to you let me solve the problem!" As a dark black Crystal pierced itself into the back of Discord and out the front through his heart. Discord now coughing up blood look behind him to see his killer. None other than... King Sombra. " You really shouldn't trust cookies in a basket if it isn't from a girl scout! The Queen of the changelings learned too late! Her army is now mine! Oh, by the way do I have to tell you that, Fluttershy was actually a changeling? Oh my! King Sombra I never knew, gosh if only!" He jokingly said with such a blank expression ripping out the crystal from Discords heartless chest. Luna and Cadance too shocked to move.
"Run....." Discord had managed to say until an orb of crystallized energy was blasted on his head as his skin and skull burst open. The two Princesses escaping eyes filled with tears.
"Tsk.... I've always hated hide and seek... wasn't the best at it." King Sombra walking on his two legs now instead of floating making it a bit more challenging for the fun. The hunt was on and he had to take them out before anyone outside the castle found out.

The two girls were now running high speed trying to find a way out but the walls windows and doors were covered in crystals. Luna felt like a fool for shutting off all the magic for the entire night over a video game. She never thought of someone from the outside bringing in their own magic. She needed to find a way out of the castle to use their magic. It seemed impossible whichever way you look at it. Looking at Cadances teary eyed face and terrified look, Luna knew soon they would have to fight and Cadance would have to be the one to run.... although Cadance was already having trouble running inbetween the sobs and panting. They weren't going to last long, in fact where ever they went they were still in Sombras grasp. Hope seemed to be lost until they found a a window not blocked by crystals. Opening it was a bad idea.... King Sombra knew... and he wasn't happy. The beam flying straight at them big enough to almost fill the hallway. For Luna the only objective in mind... was to push Cadance out the window..... and she did.
"Tell my sister I love her so much and I'm sorry! Tell her if all is lost summon The six!" With that sentence from Luna along with tears... Cadance watched as a beam shot through the window she had fallen through..... Luna.... gone.... vaporized.
Cadance falling down.... her hair flowing gracefully around her. Tears flying off her face. She hit the water with a loud SMACK. Then.... everything went black.
