Flutter began to look at Luna with curiosity. She said she has to find a way to stop this nightmare from continuing to haunt Twi. She began to wonder if Luna was going nuts and pulling a prank on her. She knew Twilights dream kept bothering her and making her lose sleep and have slight accidents in her diaper. But, she remembered Discord saying that Tirek becomes strong  from every magic he takes from ponies and other beings. Flutter then crocked an eye brow. "I have to what now?" She said in curiousity.

"Save your friend.She is being haunted by this nightmare that looks like an alternate reality to the physical worlds version.""

"Can't she defeat it herself?"

"No Flutter, the reason is, is that in this dream, she is weak and defenseless,."

"What about that harmony chest thing."

"They are too weak to move. Only you will be able to give them the strength."

"B...But I'm not an alicorn like Twilight?  H-how..."

"My sister tells me thee is gifted, you have a type of magic no pony else has. What's it going to be? Save your friend, or cause her to be traumatized?"

Flutter then began to think to herself. This was a tough situation. Despite her, she had nightmares before and faced them, but this was different. But why? Why her? She began to question why she had to defeat this nightmare. It was like she's forced to do this. Flutter knew that she made a vow in the past saying she'll repay Twilight for something she'll never forget. That something was something she did for her in the past. When Flutter realized this, she looked at Luna.. "I....I.....I guess you're right, I do need to do this. She's my friend after all."

"Indeed, but you will have to wait till the next time the nightmare triggers. Twilight is going to wake up soon. You need to wake up also."

"B--but should I tell Twilight?"

"It's up to you, she's your friend. You care about her, and she cares about you."


At that point, the dream faded and Flutter woke up gasping. She was panting. She wass trying to figure out what happened. Something not right happened and she was trying to figure it out. "Wh-what just happened?" She said to herself.

"What you talking about Flutter?"

Flutter looked at Twilight as she was trying to catch her breath at what she just experience. It was the most freaky thing she experienced, but something strange at the same time. "I don't know, somehow I entered your nightmare and saw what has been bugging you. I don't know how I managed to enter your dream."

At that point, Flutter noticed Twilights diaper, it was wet. She deducted that the nightmare must of scared her again. "T...Twilight, have you been wetting your diaper a lot when the nightmares started?" Flutter asked worriedly

"Yes, I been wetting it during the nightmares. I don't know why it's been happening. But.... the important question is how did you enter my nightmare? I thought only Luna could do that?"

Flutter shrugged at the question. Flutter also noticed her diaper was wet. Flutter remembered she wets her diaper when sleeping. After Twilight and Flutter changed their diapers, they then headed to the kitchen of Twilight's castle. As they entered they saw that not only Spike was there, but the girls also. They had a curious look on their face. "Are you two okay?" Spike asked.

"Yet again, I had the same nightmare."

"You should consult a Doctor Twi. But are you okay Flutter? You look like you're lost in thought. Or seen a pony ghost." Rainbow said in concern

Flutter then took a sip of her coffee and looked at them. "I don't know what happened, but somehow I saw Twilights dream. Seems to be an alternate reality. It looked like this Tirek being weakened all of you in the dream badly, and is haunting Twilight badly. I even saw Discord crying at your weaken selfs.."

At that moment, the mane 6 gasped at this. Flutter somehow manage to see Twilight's dream? To them, they thought Luna is the one to see dreams. It was very suspicious. But what surprised them was that she actually saw the dream. They couldn't believe it. They looked at Flutter like she was crazy. "Are you pulling are back hoofs?" Applejack asked curiously.

"No. But I saw Luna in Twilights dream. She said that I'm the one to face Twilights nightmare. I don't know what she means. She also says I' gifted with a special type of magic."

At that moment Twilight began remember something Flutter told her when they were fillies. When Flutter was taking the test to get into Celestias school, they were doing it in the courtyard due to the exam room being used. During that time, Flutter went through what Twilight went through, but it resulted with an animal army forming Trying to attack. Celestia got Flutter out of her phase, but the animal army were still threatening to attack. Flutter then raised her voice at the animals and stopped them, which seemed to listen to her. During that time, they deducted Flutter has a unique ability to form an animal army and make em follow a command. 

At that moment Twilight hit something. "Flutter, I think you'll be able to help me face my nightmare in my nightmare."

"Huh?"

"Flutter, remember, they deducted the you have the ability to form an animal army and control them through your magic? You also have the ability to give commands to them?"

"Wait... you're talking about that?"

At that moment, Rainbow Dash butted in. "Whoa whoa whoa egghead. Are you saying that, your friend has the capability to control animals."

"Indeed. The first time it triggered was unexpected, the second was on accident."

"h...how did it happen the second time.... Wait you mean somepony triggered it?"

Flutter nodded. She explained that the reason her cutie mark is a double is because I love magic and animals just like before. This time, she revealed the way she earned it is from using her magic unexpectedly, and earned her the star cutie mark, which the butterfly was earned when she was calming down the animals that were unexpectedly in her control. The mane 6 were shocked at her story, she was gifted like Twilight. 

At that moment, Fluttter remembered that when she was in Twilights nightmare, she saw Discord crying, not only to his weaken friends, but to Fluttershy. This made her curious. "Uh Fluttershy was it, can you tell me why Discord likes you so much? in the dream I saw him crying over your weaken self." Flutter asked politely.

"Oh, well basically, 1 year back, I had to reform Discord. When he realized I called him a friend, and he accidentally betrayed our friendship by freezing up a flood, he realized he "lost" is first friend. After the incident, he started to hang with me from time to time for friendship bonding. But during the incident during Tirek, he betrayed us, but when Tirek betrayed him, he came back to our side as a completely new Discord."

"So... he's using his  Chaotic powers for good.

"Yes."


At that moment, Flutter began to think to herself. She knew this was going to be hard. She remembered that in the dream, Luna stated that she needs to help Twilight turn her nightmare around to make it not traumatize her. At that moment, Flutter remembered everything from her past. They were memories of what Twilight did for her, she always was there to stop bulling up until she was defenseless when Twilight moved to ponyville. She then remembered she will repay Twilight for the things she did. "Twilight, i'm going to help you end your nightmare." Flutter told Twiilight.

"Huh?"

"I said I will end your nightmare, I can't stand seeing you fall victim to something that is haunting you. I guess this is where I repay you for what you did for me.""

Twilight began to tear up. Flutter is standing up, and saying she will end the Nightmare Twilight fears. She got up and ran to Flutter and hugged her gently. "Thank you Flutter." Twilight said

"That's what friends our for."

At that moment, Twilights friends were touched by this. Flutter was concerned for her friend and wanted to put an end to the nightmare. They then saw tears forming in Twilights eyes, they guess it was tears of happiness. At that moment, they heard a sound of  teleporting. They all looked and saw Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. They all bowed and arose. Celestia then walked up to Twilight and put a hoof on her, "It seems like Tirek is haunting you Princess Twilight." Celestia said calmly.

"H-how..."

"Luna told me. She said you are being haunted by this." Celestia then turned to her new faithful student. "I guess you are willing to go into Twilights Nightmare again to stop it, am I correct Flutter Sparkle?"

"Yes Princess, I want to do this for my friend."

"I guess you are learning a lesson in friendship. But Tirek in Twilight's nightmare, is different then the one that roamed Equestria. he's much weaker. Little advice, use your magic, to take control of the most powerful critters in the nightmare."

Flutter nodded.

With that Celestia and Luna went back to Canterlot. The mane 6 and Flutter went to the room with their throne. When they were in there, Flutter had to rethink how she manage to connect herself to Twilights dream. She was thinking harder to remember how she did that. Rainbow was first to noticed Flutter was lost in thought, it left her curious. She went to her side."Flutter, you okay?" Rainbow said as she just scared Flutter

at that moment, Flutters horn glowed rapidly and on the perch where Owlowiscious was, his eyes began to glow. He flew and began to attack Spike. At that point, the mane 6 saw what was happening. At that point, Twilight got Flutter out of the phase, but Owlowiscious was still attacking Spike. Flutter then noticed and she went to the owl. "Don't attack the dragon, he did nothing wrong." Flutter said trying to break Owlowiscious out of the phase. As Owlowiscious broke out, he returned to his perch trying to figure out what happened.

The mane 6 looked at Twilight with surprise. She wasn't lying when her friend had the ability to control animals. They then decided to leave it, and began to chat. Flutter then resumed trying to remember how the spell that made her enter Twilights dream worked.


Ending the nightmare


It was now night and Flutter was getting ready for bed. This time, she figured out how she got into Twilights nightmare world. She just got out of the bathroom and put on her diaper. She then came out of the bathroo,only to meet a concerned Twilight. Twilight had the look of worried. Flutter remembered Twilight was easily a worrywart when it came to certain things. She looked at Flutter with concern. "F..Fluter, are you sure you are up to fighting the Tirek in my nightmare?" Twilight asked.

"Twilight, I know you are worried I might failed. I'm doing this so you don't be truamatized, or being sent to a Therapist, I remember you were scared of Therapists when we were in Celestias school.

"HEY!"

"I'm just joshing you."

"We should get to bed."

Flutter nodded and she hopped in bed with Twilight. As she was in bed her horn glowed and she was sent into Twilights nightmare. This time, it was before what she saw. She witness Twilight getting the magic sucked out of her by Tirek, and her friends were dropped to the ground even Discord. Discord went to his friends side, and as Flutter remembered, this Discord began to shed tears. Flutter felt bad. This is what Twilight was being bothered by. She was being haunted by the possible outcome she would get killed. At this time, Flutter knew what she needss to do. As soon she left her standing area, her appearance became visible to the dream versions of her friends and the nightmare version of Tirek.

The dream version of Discord was first to noticed. "Wh-what are you doing here? Run." Discord said.

"No, I'm from the physical world, I'm handling this."

At that point, the dream version of Twilight's eyes were looking at her friend she never thought she would see again. "F....Flutter...." Twilight said weakly

At that point, Tirek noticed the pony in front of her. What surprised him, was she had a cutie mark. He thought he had all the magic in Equestria. "GIVE ME YOUR MAGIC, IT BELONGS TO ME!" Tirek demanded.

"Try to take it."

Tirek then picked up Flutter and proceeded to eat the magic. However as he was, the magic wasn't coming out. This made Tirek surprised. The magic wasn't going to him. "Wh-what the.." Tirek stuttered

At that point, Flutters horn shimmered and her eyes began to glow. As it was glowing, there was a animal rawring in the distants. At that moment, three monsters were clearing coming out of the everfree forest. a Ursa Minor and a Ursa Major, and a Hyrda. What surprised Tirek, was there eyes, they were glowing. At that point he dropped Flutter. He was shocked. "What in the name of the sun tyrant is happening?" Tirek said is shock.

"Attack." Flutter demanded the monsters.

The monsters then charged at Tirek and proceeded in a battle. As they were fighting Tirek, Flutter ran to Discord. She told him to take the mane 6 to the harmony chest. Because he is wearing the final key. The mane 6 got up and follwed Discord to the chest. Flutter stayed behind and handled  Tirek the best she can. She began blasting magic at his feet, which was harming him. Flutter realized that this Tirek is indeed weaker then his physical version according to Flutters new friends.

After a couple of shots, There was a mysterious glow. Flutter turned and it was the mane 6. They were in their form, that Twilight said they became when opening the chest. At that moment, they attacked Tirek, so did Flutter. As they attacked Tirek he became is weaker self, and was locked in a cage. That moment, he disappeared to Tartarus.

Just then, Flutter saw a flash. She looked and saw the Princess of the night. She bowed and rose. Luna had a smile on her face. Flutter must of did something that caused her to be happy. Luna then spoke. "You finally ended Twilights nightmare Flutter." Luna informed

"I did."

"Yes. What thee did is wonderful and we want to thank thou. I'm gonna end the dream,. It's morning right now."

With that, the dream faded, and Flutter woke up staring at Twilight. Twilight was waking up and she looked at her friend. "Morning Flutter Sparkle." Twilight said happily

"Hey, I told you to call me Flutter."

"I'm just so happy. My nightmare just converted to a good dream."

At that moment, the door to their bedroom open revealing it was Luna. She walked in and the two ponies bowed to the Princess of the night. They then rose and she looked a Flutter. She then told Twilight that she wants to talk to Flutter in private. As Twilight left after changing her diaper, Flutter went to the bathroom and changed her diaper. She then came out and sat on the bed and looked at the Princess of the night. "Flutter, about...you know, you going into ponies dreams..." Luna said.

"Am I in trouble?"

"No no. thou are not. I found out why you can travel into dreams."

You have?"

"Correct Flutter. Apparently you are gifted to travel into dreams to help those who can't conquer them. It shows how much of a friend you are."

At that point, Flutter realized what friendship lesson she learned. She learned that when somepony that sompony cares about is scared, a friend is always there to make them not afraid. She looked at Luna with a smile. She helped her learn something. "Princess Luna, you helped me learn something in friendship over my friends nightmare, th...thank you." Flutter said.

"You welcome young filly. I must get going, you better write that letter to Celestia, or Twilight might end up causing a friendship problem."

"Huh?"

"Trust me, you don't wanna know."

With that, Luna went back to Canterlot. Flutter then went to the kitchen and smiled at Twilight. She got a quill and paper, and began to write to Celestia. Twilight looked at curiously. She was trying to figure out what did her friend learn. At that point, Flutter then gave the letter to Twilight to see if she likes the sound of it. Twilight began to read.


Dear Princess Celestia
Today, I learn a lesson of friendship.
The lesson I learned is that when somepony
you care about is either scared, afraid, or having
bad nightmares, a friend is always there for them to
help them face their fears. The important part is that
if that friend can't face their fears on their own, a friend is
there to help

Twilight looked at Flutter with a smile. She learned a big lesson. "Way to go Flutter, you learned your first lesson." Twilight said happily

With that, Spike did the honors and sent the friendship letter to Celestia. At that point, Flutter and Twilight got ready and went outside to hang with their friends. Twilight was very happy that her nightmares ended.
