//------------------------------// // chapter 3: The Seal // Story: Scootaloo to Diripientes // by EpickPonyie //------------------------------// "I- I accept." Scootaloo spoke, her eyes full of tears, they brimmed then streamed down her face. Diri wrapped her front legs around Scootaloo in a warm embrace. "I'm not a monster. I promise whatever we do is for a benifit, not a monster. You can't let anyone know of you transformation or you will be treated like a monster." Diri looked the orange filly in the eyes. "W-what transformation?" Scootaloo sputtered at the word. "Yes, we all have had a transformation here. You too, need one." with this Diri leaned down and kissed each of Scootaloo eyelids. Her coat went purple, her hair white to match her 'mother's' and her sight was almost perfect in the dark through her slitted blue eyes. On each of everypony there's eyelids was the seal of diripientes, Diri's cutie mark. The once orange pony's wings grew slightly as well as her hight. Everypony stared in awe at their princess. "Long live the Diripientes! Hail, hail! Long live the queen! Hail, hail! Long live our princess!" The diripientes chanted, their voices echocing through the forest. "Long live the reign!" Diri looked at Scootaloo as if she should say something to her new found subjects. Scootaloo had confused emoitions, she was still a blank flank but she was aprincess and could fly, what more does she need? She stood confuised, excited, and all sixes and sevens, for that. She summoned ome courage to walk to the edge of the raised platfor liek rock that they stood on. She cast a look across the crowd, recognizing a few pegasi. This power somehow gave her comfort. "My people, beloved awesome pegasi, im so thankful for all of this, and your new princess i will make sure that everything is epic! We will never lose! I promise to all of you, all of my new...family." She smiled greatly laughing a little with tears of joy at the last few words. "Now go forth, we will meet again in one week, to prepare for battle." Diri proclaimed, now standing side by side with her new 'daughter'. Once all flew back off into the night to their homes Diri once again hugged Scootaloo. They both had mixed emotions, but they both had no idea what was to come next.
