"What?" Graymayne asked. "Why were you afraid I'd say that?"

Blue only stared down at him. Twilight did the same, except she had a look of horror. They stayed like that until Graymayne said: "What are you doing? ANSWER ME!"

"With all that screaming, you just reminded me of the first time I met you," Blue said. "You seemed to keen on seeing me again that day."

"What day? I've never heard of you before yesterday!"

"And how did you hear about me, huh?" Blue snapped at him, making him flinch back. "You were told to kill me. Answer me this: Do you enjoy killing?"

"I wouldn't do it if I didn't enjoy it."

"And who taught you to enjoy it?"

"My master."

"Do you even know why your master wants me dead?"

"Don't need to."

"And why's that?"

"Because if he wants somepony dead, then he has a good reason."

"How much did he tell you about me?"

"What?"

"HOW MUCH DID HE TELL YOU ABOUT ME?!" Blue shouted.

"He only told me what you look like," Graymayne replied, obviously frightened.

"And of all the times he could have sent you, he chose now. What am I doing at this moment?"

"Your helping her return to her home in Ponyville," Graymayne said as he pointed his muzzle at Twilight.

"And if I was out of the way, who would help her?"

"Nopo-"

"Exactly," Blue interrupted. "He doesn't want her to return home. Why do you think that is?"

At this point, Graymayne had no true answer. He just lay there, thinking about what he said.

"He knows something, Graymayne," Blue continued. "He knows something and has probably lied to you about its truth."

"And what might that be?" he snapped. "What has Discord not told me?"

"Graymayne, your family is not dead."

...

...

"What?" Graymayne asked, a tear started forming in his left eye.

"He lied to you about your family. Not all of them are dead. They are still out there, and you have to find them."

"No. No you lie! Your trying to get me to turn on Discord for supposedly lying to me! My family died long ago!"

"And Discord, a draconequus of immeasurable power, just so happened to find you out in the streets and take you in. He obviously lied to you about their death. DO you know what he has turned you into?"

Graymayne's eyes went wide, realizing what he was going to say. "NO! Don't say it!"

"What?" Twilight asked. "Don't say what?"

"Don't worry, Graymayne," Blue calmly stated. "I promised that I would not help bring him out."

"How do you know about him? He's only come out once before, and that was an accident!"

"You told me about him. That's how I know. I also know all about Gunner too."

Graymayne eyes went wide after hearing that name. "How do you know about Gunner?"

"Haven't you been listening to me? Since the fight, I've said that we were friends, and that you told me these things."

"And I've been saying that I've never met you before yesterday."

"Yes. I know."

"Then explain how I could have told you these things?"

"My watch."

"What does you watch have to do with this?"

"Everything. This watch is how I met you. This watch is how I know about Gunner and him."

"Am I the only one who is confused here?" Twilight asked. "Who is Gunner? What are you talking about? Who is him?"

"You don't want to know, Twilight," Blue said to her. Back to the original subject, where is Discord's lair?"

"What reason do I have to tell you?" Graymayne asked.

"Because if you don't, then we cannot help you."

"You? Help me? Hah! I'm way beyond saving."

"And who told you that?"

"Discord."

"Figures. Well, if you're not going to help us, then we will have to find out for ourselves."

"And how do you expect to do that?"

"First, we need to get him out of the way."

Graymayne's eyes once again went wide. "Don't you dare."

"Graymayne..." Blue began

"No!"

"...you're..."

"DON'T SAY IT!"

"...a monster."

At this point, Graymayne's coat began to give off a small smoke, as if he was radiating a kind of energy that was built up. His eyes grew dark and spilled the same darkness out of its corners. A wicked smile erupted on his muzzle.

He turned to the two standing next to the bed and said: "Thank you, Blue. I never thought I was going to get out of there. And by somepony who bound me for a pointless reason, too." He tensed up, snapping the ropes that tied him to the bed. He squinted as a dark magic began to flow into his horn and snap the limiter. Twilight stepped back in even more horror as he rose from the bed. "How should I repay you... Oh! The perfect idea! I think I'll kill you. You were so kind as to allow me the right to live."

"B- Blue?" Twilight asked. "What did you do?"

"I brought out the monster in him!" he said, still standing in the same position as earlier. "If I am to help, I need him out of the way!"

"Aww, that's sweet. You brought me out to hold me back. A foolish decision. Now, once I'm done with you, I can terrorize this town!"

"Not if I can help it!" Blue said as he grabbed Twilight and Graymayne before he slammed the button in on his watch. Instantly, they all warped to a new location.

Dimension Between Space And Time

The three of them appeared in what seemed like a blank space. There was nothing here at all. As soon as Blue realized that they landed, he teleported himself and Twilight about 30 feet away from Graymayne.

"Where are we?!" Graymayne asked furiously.

"We are in a dimension between space and time," Blue said. "The only way in and out of here is by my watch."

"Then I'll just have to take it from you!"

"NO!" Blue shouted. He used his magic to pull the watch off and teleported it someplace else. "You will not leave! This fight will go as needed! Even if I lose, I can prevent you from ever terrorizing anyplace ever again!"

"You rotten little... All right then. You want a fight? You got one! Lets dance!"

The two of them charged toward each other, both horns glowing furiously as the battle once again took place.
