The next morning was one that would plague the librarian for a lifetime. Upon asking the stallion to go home, she had forgotten one key thing that would ensure that he would remain at her beck and call for a lifetime. She had come to realize this once she had looked over the potions affects within the book that Zecora had used in order to properly make the potion. At that moment, she was galloping as fast as she could to Kamis home, praying to Celestia that the affects hadn't worn off because he had not seen her in over an hour.
"Oh noooooo, this can't be good. No, strike that, this is the worst thing to ever happen to me if that stupid potion actually wore off. If it did, how in Tartarus am I going to explain myself to Kami?!" She cried as she continued to gallop.
However, Kami had just woke up not long before Twilight had, and boy was he feeling weird. Well, weird would be an understatement. Downright otherworldly would put it better, no pun intended.
"Oy..... what a dream...." Kami trailed off as he pulled the covers from himself to reveal a surprise left to him by the morning wood fairy. "Well then, good morning to you too." He laughed as he watched it twitch once before jumping out of bed and making his way into the bathroom. Jumping into the shower after turning the water on to the right temperature, and then giving a large yawn as he gargled some of the water before spitting it out.
"That dream.... was awesome!" He chuckled as he began to wash himself thoroughly, only to pause as he sniffed the air.
"What is that?" He asked as he began to sniff himself in several places, then leaning down to sniff of something that was still hanging around.
"No way..." He trailed off, taking another sniff. "There just ain't no way!? Did I really..." He paused as he heard a loud banging on his front door.
"Oy....." He groaned. "Hold yer horses, I'm in the shower!" He shouted as he used his magic to open the window to the bathroom so that his voice could linger.
"What the..... hold your horses? I've really got to ask him about what in the world some of the sayings his world mean when I get the chance." Twilight hummed for a second before realizing that the window to his bathroom was now open, and quickly making her way over to it.
"Kami, hurry up, I need to talk to you." She shouted into the bathroom only to hear a scream in return.
"Dammit Twi, give a guy some privacy when he's in the shower, gees. I'll be out in a few minutes, I've gotta talk to you about this weird dream I had last night anyway, along with another dream that I've been neglecting to ask you about as well." He bellowed as he finished rinsing the soap from himself and turning the water off. Quickly pulling a towel to himself and drying off, he pulled the shower curtain open to see Twilight staring silently at him from outside the bathroom window.
"And now you're a peeping tom..... ARE YOU INSANE?!" He yelled causing her to erupt into a bright shade of red and disappear below the window.
"SORRY! Sorry, it's just that.... well... I wanted to see you this morning about...."
"About something that you've apparently done to me?" He asked as he trotted over to the window, sticking his head out of it and looking down to the now cowering unicorn.
"Done to you? I don't know what you're talking about, eh heh." She laughed nervously as she tapped her forehooves together.
"Uh huh, I may be from the country love, but I'm no push over." He grumbled to her as he quickly teleported outside to next to her.
"Now then, I'm going to ask you a question, and I expect an honest answer. If ah gotta get AJ to come over here and tell her to watch ya to make sure yer telling the truth, I will." He glared slightly toward her only to make her gulp.
The stallion quietly walked around the corner of the house, slowly being followed by his lavender friend. Once they arrived in front of the house he paused, taking a seat on the porch.
"Now then, I had what seemed like an incredibly lucid dream last night. It was about the two of us, being a little more than a couple. I could have sworn I even smelled...... nevermind that, I'll find out if that much is true in time." He smirked. For now though, I want to know something. Was that dream an actual dream, or was it reality? Did we actually...." He trailed off giving his whithers a nervous rub.
"Kami.... what in the world are you talking about?" She asked, trying to play it off as a dream. "I have no clue what you're referring to."
"Mmm hmm." He glared slightly seeing her nervous demeanor. "Let's go to Applejacks, then we can straighten this out." He snorted as he got to his hooves and began to walk away from his home.
"WAIT...... wait." She sighed. "Fine.... yes.... I did do something.... and I'm not proud of it...." She slowly lay down onto the porch of his home, staring toward the ground as she heard him stop at her words. "Kami... I maaaaay have given you a little.... love potion. To help speed up the process of us getting together." She tapped her hooves together nervously, glancing up to see that he had turned around and was heading back to in front of her.
After a few moments of continuing to look down, Kamis hooves had planted themselves in the edge of her vision, causing her to scrunch her eyes shut for a moment, not daring to look up at the stallion standing before her.
"So then.... everything I thought was a dream...."
"Was real... even you spending the night with me at the library." She sighed, rubbing her cheeks as she began to blush. "And I loved every moment of it... You opened up and showed me exactly who you were on the inside. The pony that not even Applejack knows." She smiled as she raised her vision to his, but pausing upon seeing the look of anger and betrayal plastered across his face.
"Twilight.... I.... I am honestly stunned, and believe it or not, furious. I can't believe you would stoop so low as to do something like that. I mean, I looked up to you. Being so intelligent, and book smart...." He trailed of giving a loud sigh. "But I guess you don't have one thing that I value in a possible spouse." He gave a saddened smile as he looked into her eyes. "Common sense."
As he spoke those last two words, Twilights demeanor quickly changed from being submissive and nervous, to something unexpected.
"WHAT?!" She shouted as she quickly stood up, getting right in Kamis face. "No common sense?! Are you bucking insane?! The princess hoof picked me to be her student! Saying that to me is an insult to the princess as well!" She spat.
"Twi, I'm only going to say this once... leave. I don't know if I can forgive you, but I can guarantee one thing... I'm not going to be your stallion anytime soon."
You could hear the lavender unicorns heart shatter at that very moment as those words hit her like a ton of bricks. Her look of anger changed to hurt as her eyes began to well up as she spoke.
"B-but.... you were... my first...... I thought that if you.... and I..... why? Why can't you just love me? Discord went to all that trouble to find the perfect pony for me.... and you're it....."
"Why? Oh I don't know. Maybe because you betrayed my trust, got impatient, and then put me under a spell against my will just so that I could please you, and only you?! You were just unwilling to work for something because you had competition and were losing. You wanted to take a shortcut, got caught, and now you lost." He bellowed causing her to sob.
"I'm done with you now. Maybe in time you'll come to understand what you've done and come to terms with reality." He sighed. "Go home, I'll come by and talk to you again, in time." He sighed once more as he trotted away, leaving the lavender unicorn to sob quietly on his doorstep.

"Really?!" Applejack sputtered in shock. "Well now that explains why ya'll didn't even come by teh say hi the other day. Ya'll usually come by fer at least a lil abuse." She snickered seeing him roll his eyes.
"I do love being abused by a certain orange pony." He smirked back.
"Well then, how'bout we get teh work in the orchard. Then ah can start the abuse." She chuckled.
"All that berating from you about how to buck a tree properly does sound appealing after what I had teh go through yesterday." He laughed as they headed out of the farmhouse and toward the orchard.
"Uh-huh, sounds more like ya'll had a good'ol time in the sack with Twi." She grinned seeing him blush brightly.
"Uh..... yea.... I wasn't myself, so you can't pin that one on me."
"Awright, well, at least ah know one thang." She smirked, giving him a wink.
"And that would be?"
"Now ah know ya ain't a slouch in bed from what ya told me." She laughed, trotting ahead of the now deep purple unicorn stallion who was blushing far harder than he had ever done before.
"I swear AJ, I don't know whether to think yer flirting with me, or berating me sometimes. Doesn't matter much though." He chuckled as he caught up to her.
"Why not? am ah losing mah touch? Do ah gotta act all booksmart and put on some glasses? Cause it ain't happenin." She drolled out as they arrived into the orchard.
"Nah, you know I like the berating, that's why you keep doing it."
Applejack paused in her stride, letting the stallion trot by her and see the blush she was sporting.
"Heh, guess ya caught me." She chuckled nervously. "Anyway, ya'll er avoiding talkin bout Twi now. What ya'll plan teh do?" She asked as they finally approached the first tree that needed bucking.
"Well, considering she betrayed my trust, put me under a spell, had her way with me, then was too stupid to realize that I would come out of the spell since she didn't research it thoroughly enough, only to catch her in the act. I think I'll avoid her for the remainder of my time here in this world." He furrowed his brow in though, finally coming to the conclusion that the librarin was far too interested in getting what she wanted rather than anything he may have wanted.
"Awright, then ah guess that means." AJ began but paused as Kami turned to her giving a wink.
"You won the fight cow-girl." He chuckled, only to pause as a set of lips met his.
After a few moments they separated giving a little pant, staring into each others eyes for a short time. Until AJ chuckled that is.
"What's so funny?"
"Ah been waitin teh do that fer a while now. And maybe something else if'n ya ain't still gonna be a prude 'bout it." She glared slightly only to watch as he laughed.
"If yer going to be that forward, then I only have one question. Where do you want me?" He chuckled, only to stop as she pounced.
"Right here's jes fine." She hummed, kissing him hard.
