Camo the Plant/Dragon Hybrid has been living with Fluttershy since they got together, the Dragon set up a vegetable garden at Fluttershy's hut so that the Pegasus could use the vegetables that he grows to feed her animals. Every morning, Camo would get up, grab his gardening hat and walk out to the garden where he would tend to it like in the old days where he used to tend to Eon's vegetable garden. Fluttershy even visited the garden where Camo offered her a slice of a ripe non-explosive watermelon. He even gave her a carrot to give to Angel Bunny when he was need of a carrot. Camo had the most nature-loving assignment in Equestria, there were some times where he would take a break from the garden and head over to Sweet Apple Acres to hang out with Terrafin. Until one morning, Camo woke up grabbed his Gardening Hat, kissed the sleeping Fluttershy on the cheek as she smiled to it, and walked outside to the garden, but when he got there, his eyes widen in shock as to what he saw. In front of him, he saw the entire garden ravaged, the watermelons were smashed, the carrots only had the top stems left, the lettuce heads had only debris left, everything in the vegetable garden was ravaged by some unknown raider. Camo took off his hat and said,

"Who could have done such a thing?" He decided that since it hit his garden, it might've hit Sweet Apple Acres. He placed his hat back into the hut, left a note for Fluttershy and raced out the door to Sweet Apple Acres. 

Terrafin and Applejack looked at the ravaged apple tree and noticed that there were more incidents with ravaged gardens all over Ponyville. Applejack, known for having an eye on what's going on around the acres, knew what's happening,

"Those darn Fruit Bats are at it again."

Terrafin knew what she was talking about, "The biggest harvest of the year and those Fruit Bats just came around and start to ruin everything."

When they knew that the Fruit Bats were at it again, Camo arrived and said, "Guys, my garden was ravaged!" Applejack said, "Those were probably Fruit Bats."

Camo knew about them and replied, "It wasn't just the fruits, it was also the vegetables as well."

Terrafin realized, "Fruit Bats don't ravage vegetables from gardens."

Applejack spoke, "We better find Spy-Rise, because he is a Spy."

Terrafin nodded, "He might be a Spy, but he did go through his detective work."

Camo asked, "Do you know where Spy-Rise is?"

Applejack nodded, "Applebloom and her friends wanted to play Hide n Seek with Spy-Rise, so he's with them in or near their clubhouse."

Terrafin pointed forward, "TO SPY-RISE!!!" 

At the CMC's Clubhouse, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were searching for Spy-Rise and since they know that he can climb to any elevated location, they kept their eyes on the ceiling until they heard the scurrying of mechanical legs. They looked near a window and spotted Spy-Rise attempting to escape out of the window. But they all said,

"We found you!" Spy-Rise looked at the three and smiled as he said, "So you have. I must say, hide n seek has been an excellent choice of a fun activity. It gives me a chance to improve my Spy training."

They all laughed about it until the clubhouse door opened revealing Applejack, Terrafin and Camo. Camo spoke,

"Sorry to interrupt but we have a situation in my vegetable garden at Fluttershys."

Spy-Rise thought about it and said, "I'll come with you shortly." 

He told the three fillies that he was called in to do some investigating and they apparently understood. A Spy's got to do what a Spy's got to do. 

At Camo's garden, the four friends looked at the ravaged fruits and vegetables. Spy-Rise placed his hand on a watermelon that was surprisingly intact and found a pair of teeth marks on it. Spy-Rise said,

"These look like teeth marks, the teeth of a Fruit Bat isn't that large." Camo looked at the melon, "You're right, somepony ravaged the garden with a hunger of fruits and vegetables."

Applejack asked, "Who in the right mind would ravage your garden?"

Camo spoke, "I don't know. But I know that this raider needs to be found."

Spy-Rise placed something on the hut, "I'll place this camera here incase that mysterious raider came back to the garden while you were asleep."

Terrafin noticed Spy-Rise's idea, "Well, that would help Camo with his problem, but Swarm can use his swarms to deal with our Fruit Bat problem." 

As the others left, Camo took a good look at his ravaged garden and at the camera that Spy-Rise set up. He also looked at the teeth marks on the melon and said to himself,

"I got to find out who this garden raider is and basically catch this raider." He sighed at the fact and slammed his tail down, causing more fruits and vegetables to grow and replace what was ravaged. Until a soft voice asked,

"Are you okay, Camo?" The Plant/Dragon hybrid turned around and saw Fluttershy entering the garden as he replied,

"The garden was ravaged this morning and it wasn't from the Fruit Bats that were eating the apples from Sweet Apple Acres."

Fluttershy draped her wing around the sad dragon as she comforted him, "You will find the raider, eventually." Camo looked at Fluttershy and smiled, "Eventually." 

Camo decided to go to the Library and ask Twilight about his ravaged garden until he saw a note on the door, he read,

"Gone to Variant World to visit my sister. Pop Fizz is in charge until I get back."

After he read it, he went inside the library to find Pop Fizz reading a book about Alchemy, like he always does. The blue gremlin noticed the dragon and asked,

"Camo, what brings you to the library?"

Camo replied, "My garden was ravaged by a Fruit Bat raid or something else. Because the one shred of evidence that Spy-Rise found was an intact watermelon with teeth marks all over it."

Camo showed the watermelon as Pop Fizz looked at the teeth marks and after searching through the Alchemy books, he developed a serum that could identify the species who made those teeth marks. Pop Fizz took out a lavender beaker and poured a drop onto the teeth marks. Due to his brilliance as an alchemist, he realized something when he took a finished drop and placed it under a microscope. His eyes widened as he said,

"These teeth marks came from a Bat-Pony!"

Camo asked, "I thought Bat-Ponies were only under Princess Luna's command and also Boom Jet was promoted as her captain to keep her guards in line?"

Pop Fizz said, "They are and if a Bat-Pony was ravaging your garden with a hunger of fruits and vegetables, then you might be dealing with a pony who was turned by a Fruit Bat."

Camo knew what he had to do, "Spy-Rise managed to place a camera near the garden to catch this Bat-Pony on film, but I should be there to confront this Bat-Pony."

Pop Fizz warned, "Just be careful, Camo."

Camo nodded to his friend, "Thanks." As he exited the Library. 

Camo returned to Fluttershy's hut, only to find it deserted, he was curious about what happened until he saw a note from Fluttershy, 

"Camo, Since it is Hearts and Hooves Day, I want you to meet me by the lake. Don't keep me waiting."

The Dragon remembered about his romantic relationship with Fluttershy and made his way towards the lake. When he arrived at the lake, he noticed the shape of a beautiful Pegasus pony with a wet mane in the lake.....he smiled in recognition that it was Fluttershy. When Fluttershy spotted him, she began gesturing Camo to join her and Camo wasn't a dragon who would deny being with his Marefriend. The dragon joined her as they embraced. Camo said,

"Despite what has happened today, coming back to you makes it all worth it."

Fluttershy replied, "I'm glad to see that you are okay. I didn't want to lose you to finding out who raided the garden."

Camo nodded, "But, as you said, eventually I'll catch the culprit."

Fluttershy smiled, "Eventually."

Camo asked, "Can we put the thoughts of the garden behind?"

Fluttershy nodded, "And we should make this time on the lake something to remember." 

After their romantic time on the lake, Camo carried Fluttershy back to the cottage as he remembered why they both loved each other. She was shy when they first met, and terrified when he revealed himself because Equestrian Dragons were jerks, but Camo is no such jerk to the shy Pegasus. He is good-hearted, kind, a picture of a nice dragon from Skylands, and most of all, he is Fluttershy's gardener after he set up shop in Fluttershy's garden. 

Most of Fluttershy's animal friends loved Camo, but not Angel Bunny, Fluttershy's pet rabbit. He was jealous of Camo for getting Fluttershy's attention more than he did before the Night of the Arrival. But he still depended on Camo to grow a carrot and hand it to him, the rabbit didn't show a lot of hostility. Camo was happy that he is spending his time with Fluttershy and yet he still wants to find out who raided his garden besides Fruit Bats. All he had to do now was get Fluttershy back home. 

After returning back to the hut, he set Fluttershy down on her bed, covered her up and looked over at the garden as he said,

"The garden and Fluttershy are what matter to me. If anything happens to her or the garden I would know about it."

He left Fluttershy's room and decided to sleep on the couch. But while he drifted off into a deep sleep, he felt something whoosh into the garden. Seeing his opportunity, knowing that the raider has returned, he took off for the garden at full speed. But when he arrived at the garden, he saw a bat-pony ravaging the fruits and vegetables. He saw the bat-pony and became Thon Horn Camo to pin it down. The Bat-pony although obscured in the shadows, turned its red eyes towards Camo and began to run into the woods with the dragon in hot pursuit. 

He chased the bat-pony through the forest with an intent on catching and questioning it. He chased it high, low, near and far until he used his Life Powers to summon vines to trap the bat-pony. The vines he summoned struck and took a hold of the bat-pony's fore-hooves and wrapped around its body. Once he knew that it was good and secured, he used the vines to lower it down to his position. He began interrogating,

"Let's start with the first question; Why did you raid the garden?"

The Bat-pony said, "My hunger for fruit demanded that I raid from your garden."

Camo asked, "So Fruit Bats can feed on fruit, but why did you also ravage the vegetables in the garden?"

The Bat-pony spoke, "I guess you can say that I also had a hunger for vegetables as well."

Camo asked, "Why did you target my garden when could've used any other garden?"

The Bat-pony had a seductive smile, "I guess you can say that I'm attracted to your fruits and vegetables.....as well as you."

Camo knew that this bat-pony was still obscured by darkness until he blew a sun ball which rotated around him until he got a sight of shock when he saw the bat-pony's face,

"Fluttershy.....you're...a bat-pony?!"

Flutterbat's seductive smile now turned to look of realization when Camo found out, she said, "I was bitten by a Fruit Bat and I was turned into this. After I turned into this, I had a hunger for fruit, but not other fruit......it was the fruit you grew, Camo."

Camo asked, "Why didn't you tell me? I could've figured something out with the others."

Flutterbat didn't reply as she began to tear up, she broke through the vines holding her and fled into the woods, Camo yelled,

"Fluttershy, Wait!!!" 

After Flutterbat ditched Camo in the woods, she looked around and saw herself surrounded by Fruit Bats who were hanging from the trees. But, now she has realized what she had done and that she emotionally hurt Camo's feelings. She wanted to go back and tell him that she's sorry, but she was too shy to face Camo and tell him. She laid on the shore of a small pond where it was clear as Luna's night sky. She was sad over what she did and because it was Camo's feelings that she hurt, she felt herself feeling more sad than usual. Until she was approached from behind by a familiar Light Blue Alicorn Stallion,

"Fluttershy, you don't look to well, considering your incident with the Fruit Bats."

The Bat-Pony turned around and saw Master Eon as she said, "I've hurt Camo and....I..ravaged his garden."

Master Eon replied, "Don't think that Camo would never forgive you. What was ravaged, he could grow back. Its part of his ability of being part plant." He looked at a heart shaped carving on a tree that said,

'Camo X Fluttershy' He spoke, "Camo's emotions are strong....as is his love for you."

Flutterbat asked, "But he will forgive me for ravaging his garden?"

The Alicorn smiled as he turned toward the lake and turned his head to the Bat-Pony, "Camo is not known to not forgive anyone for wrong doing except for Kaos. But he knows that you have a Secondary form which was uncontrollable for you. Like Thorn Horn Camo, you are going to have trouble getting used to a secondary form. So he will forgive you."

Flutterbat smiled and said, "I've got to go find him." Before she left, Master Eon used his magic on the lake and showed an image of Thorn Horn Camo walking through the forest shouting Fluttershy's name. That's when she realized that he was looking for her.

Flutterbat traversed through the woods, hoping to somehow run into Camo. She began looking for him, she searched behind a rock, underneath a swaying tree, and looked in the bushes. 

After so much searching, she looked up into the night sky and flashed back into a memory of her and Camo pointing out what the star sections look like, one looked like a rabbit as she pointed out. Camo pointed at a section of a dragon standing close to a tree. She always knew about Camo's love for nature, she talked about how she got her Cutie Mark to Camo and the dragon understood that she was meant to care for animals. The dragon realized when she fell from Cloudsdale, she was caught by a passing group of butterflies. 

After flashing out of her memory, she saw a nearby bush shake, Flutterbat smiled to think that it was Camo until it was revealed to be a frog. She frowned and sat on a hill sobbing,

"I need to find Camo or else he will never know how I feel about him. I want to have him forgive me....but...." She was interrupted when non-explosive watermelon sprouted right in front of her. Flutterbat turned around and saw Thorn Horn Camo standing at the opposite hill with a smile on his face. Her shocked face soon turned to joy as they both charged at full speed towards each other.

When they finally met on the smaller hill between the two bigger ones, they nudged for a few minutes and soon chased each other around while laughing. After they came to a stop at the lake, Camo swiped his claw against the ground and revealed a small flower. They soon nudged as a magical energy surged around both and turned Thorn Horn Camo and Flutterbat normal again. Camo finally said,

"I forgive you, Fluttershy."

Fluttershy replied, "I am glad to be with you, Camo. After what happened." She asked, "But why did you forgive me?"

Camo looked at his and Fluttershy's reflections in the lake as the heads of their reflections merged, "We are one. You and I."

Fluttershy smiled, "I love you, Camo."

Camo finished, "I love you too, Fluttershy."
