The Only Thing I know for Real

1st Road: The Wind

Death, to some is a very serious word. Just the word itself is not to be taken lightly. But to a swordsman, Death is like a companion, much like the wind; always by their side.

“You’re the new Summoner?” asked a tall rugged man holding a sword in his right arm as he approached what seems to be a Summoning circle, not even turning his attention to the person he is talking to.

“Y-yes! P-pleased to meet you, Yasuo” replied the Summoner as she stepped in another Summoning circle just next to Yasuo.

“I can’t say the same for you, just don’t be over aggressive when the match starts, alright?” replied Yasuo as he sat in an indian position and placed his sword on his lap and started to meditate.

10 seconds till the Match Starts

As the voice of a mature female could be heard, Yasuo stood from his sitting position and tightened the grip of his sword, his eyes still closed. He has already battled many and all ‘Champions’ much like himself when he is summoned and today is not any different. He fights not for gold or fame, but he fights to redeem his honor before he dies.

Yasuo is a man of resolve, an agile swordsman who wields the wind itself to cut down his foes. But this once proud warrior has been disgraced by a false accusation and forced into a desperate fight for survival. With the world turned against him, he will do everything in his power to bring the guilty to justice and restore his honor.

Once a brilliant pupil at a renowned Ionian sword school, Yasuo was the only student in a generation to master the legendary wind technique. Many believed he was destined to become a great hero. However, his fate was changed forever when Noxus invaded. Yasuo was charged with guarding an Ionian Elder, but, foolishly believing his blade alone could make the difference, left his post to join the fray. By the time he returned, the Elder had been slain.

Disgraced, Yasuo willingly turned himself in, prepared to pay for his failure with his life. He was shocked, however, to find himself accused not just of dereliction, but of the murder itself. Though confused and racked with guilt, he knew the assassin would go unpunished if he did not act. Yasuo raised his sword against the school and fought his way free, knowing his treason would turn all of Ionia against him. Now truly alone for the first time in his life, he set out to find the Elder's real killer.

Yasuo spent the next several years wandering the land, seeking any clue that might lead him to the murderer. All the while, he was relentlessly hunted by his former allies, continually forced to fight or die. His mission drove him ever forward, until he was tracked down by the one foe he dreaded most – his own brother, Yone.

Bound by a common code of honor, the two warriors bowed and drew their swords. Silently they circled one another under the moonlight. When they finally charged forward, Yone was no match for Yasuo; with a single flash of steel he cut his brother down. Yasuo dropped his weapon and rushed to Yone's side.

Overcome with emotion, he demanded to know how his own kin could think him guilty. Yone spoke: “The Elder was killed by a wind technique. Who else could it be?” Understanding swept over Yasuo as he suddenly realized why he had been accused. He professed his innocence once more and begged his brother's forgiveness. Tears streamed down Yasuo's face as his brother passed in his arms.

Yasuo buried Yone under the rising sun, but could take no time to mourn. Others would be after him before long. His brother's revelation had given Yasuo newfound purpose; he now had the clue that would lead to the true killer. Swearing an oath, he gathered his belongings and, with one last look at Yone's grave, set out with the wind at his back.

It has been 4 months since joining the League of Legends as an esteemed Champion. Fighting almost every day, Yasuo has met every single Champion in the League, but none of them showed any signs of his master’s killer. Many were from Noxus, but none have ever seen nor heard of his master.

Beginning Match

And as a blinding light filled the Summoning Circle of Yasuo and his Summoner engulfing the two, an unusual wind blew.

Death is the ultimate end for some creatures, the eternal rest as they say. But a being of immense magical power can alter that; a ritual, a summoning spell or even a snap of a finger from a Chaos God, one only needs a proper reason as to why.

Deep in the Everfree forest, a bipedal creature walking upright with its body covered in a cybernetic exoskeleton and a metal sheath attached to its waist, wonders the forest without a care in the world as a gust of ominous wind blew his way.

“Even in ‘Purgatorio’ ominous winds follow me. Though I don’t know If this is where I think it is. But for some reason, I’m glad” it said with a smirk with a Brazilian accent as it tapped its metallic sheath.

After a few more hours of walking and sight-seeing, the creature found its way to a small clearing in the middle of the dark forest. Tired of all the walking it sat on a boulder and looked up at the night sky with peace in his mind and a smirk on his face.

“Never would have thought that ‘Purgatorio’ could have such nice nights” it said out loud.

“But I’m just fooling myself, I know I’m alive, but how could it be? I know for sure that Jack killed me” it said as it stood from where it was sitting.

“Do you guys know?” it asked as it made a battle stance and gripped the handle of his sheathed sword.

The creature knew he was still alive, his keen senses told him that something was after its life, he could feel multiple presences around him, encircling him, ready to strike at a moment’s falter.

“Look, I know you guys are out there, so quit hiding and I might let you live, and I’ll emphasize on the ‘might let you live’ part if you’ll answer some of my questions” it said as it mentally counted the number of the killing intent each presence gave off.

“Last chance” it warned

And like a signal to those around the creature, an insect like four legged creature came out of the brushes and looked at the bipedal creature, to its surprise, it talked.

“Hold Jetstream Sam!” said the insect like four-legged creature.

“Seems like I’m in hell after all, How’d you know my name?” asked Sam, still in his battle pose, not even lightening the grip on his sword, ready to pull the trigger of his metallic sheath if need be.

“My Queen only seeks your assistance! She was the one who summoned you from the Dead! Come, we shall escort you back to the hive.” answered the insect creature.

“And If I say no?” asked Sam with a grin.

“Then you shall d----“

*Shling!*

The Creature didn't have the chance to finish its threat as Sam cut half of its head vertically in one swift motion that the untrained eye cannot see.

“Anybody else?” asked Sam as 6 of the same creatures flew out from the darkness of the forest moments after green blood spewed from the severed head of one of its kind.

Meanwhile, in the Canterlot Royal Castle, the same ominous wind blew through the window of a certain Moon Princess as she was snapped from her own thoughts.

“Oh my, what is this chill in the air?” said Princess Luna as she stood from her bed and approached the window.

“I have a bad feeling about this” she added.
